being able to link multiple accounts together, being able to manage multiple ones and jump between account using the role switch function

**What do you dislike about AWS Organizations?**

there is nothing to dislike about AWS organizations, its really easy to set up and link all the roles together, this is great if you have loads of AWS profiles that you need to manage

**What problems is AWS Organizations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

instead of having loads of root accounts followed by loads of IAM roles, we have managed to change this to link all of our account in the AWS Organizations, and having just one account with moultiple IAM roles all controlled within Organizations

  ### 3. A place for all the accounts

**What do you dislike about AWS Organizations?**

at the moment AWS services doesn't have all features available straight away so does some a delay when we are trying to build ou a new environment

**Recommendations to others considering AWS Organizations:**

**What problems is AWS Organizations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

creating multiple accounts for multiple customers making it easier to manager per customer environment this is key for our software to have this feature

  ### 4. AWS organizations is a must have for any groups managing multiple AWS accounts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2018

**What do you like best about AWS Organizations?**

AWS Organizations is a step up from the feature it replaced before, AWS Consolidated Billing. Before, AWS Consolidated Billing was a necessary but limited feature that allowed us to consolidate the billing of a common account for all the AWS accounts in our organization (specifically university.) AWS organizations allows us to do much more, such as creating accounts with automated tools via API, and can manage AWS accounts via OU. We can also assign tags to each account.

**What do you dislike about AWS Organizations?**

We currently do not have all available features of AWS Organizations since we need approval from every linked account first, so there has been some delay in getting everything set up as we want.

**Recommendations to others considering AWS Organizations:**

Just use it

**What problems is AWS Organizations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing multiple AWS accounts belonging to individuals in our organization, and allowing us to collectively pay off our bill with our centralized financial and administration group.

  ### 5. AWS Account Management simplified

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kunal B. | QA Architect/Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2018

**What do you like best about AWS Organizations?**

It is best way to centralize your AWS accounts at one place.AWS Organizations allows admins to make policy-based rules for multiple AWS accounts like Microsoft server does but in a fully cloud-based platform. You can create groups, just like windows server and automate the account creation throughout your organization. It is easy to do billing for your accounts.

**What do you dislike about AWS Organizations?**

The permissions setup can be a bit tricky the first time through since it allows both whitelists and blacklists and a hierarchy of permissions.

**What problems is AWS Organizations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To organize many aws accounts at one place and devide them into hierarchy according to their role and type.

  ### 6. huge plus

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul L. | CLoud Solution Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2018

**What do you like best about AWS Organizations?**

able to designate the costs seperated out for each department within our university

**What do you dislike about AWS Organizations?**

That i didn't use it sooner and should be

**Recommendations to others considering AWS Organizations:**

if you are struggling with pent up demand and departments trying to go on their own, get orgs setup

**What problems is AWS Organizations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we have a ton of engery to go to the cloud, so this is helping us stay ahead of the various departments trying to go out on their own. WE are able to bring them back in and control their access/controls etc.

  ### 7. AWS for large organisations that need user account automation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2018

**What do you like best about AWS Organizations?**

AWS Organizations allows admins to make policy-based rules for multiple AWS accounts like Microsoft server does but in a fully cloud-based platform. You can create groups, just like windows server and automate the account creation throughout your organization.

**What do you dislike about AWS Organizations?**

simple, low cost set up for current AWS service users, completely cloud-based allows you to easily do massive rollouts and without having a coding or scripting background.

**Recommendations to others considering AWS Organizations:**

Can you really use the cloud effectively in your region, some remote offices had poor internet speed and made it unviable for them, so physical hardware has a place still.

**What problems is AWS Organizations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Need for centralized infrastructure control without managing local hardware or software, that allows for easy organization grouping by department and level of control or admin users to more effectively manage subordinates in a remote work environment.

  ### 8. AWS Organizations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sherif W. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2018

**What do you like best about AWS Organizations?**

You can add other people accounts to the organization so that several users can collaborate in certain project by giving different access to users from full access or limited. Also shows a tree view for the people in the organization and managing who can be an admin and who will pay for services.

**What do you dislike about AWS Organizations?**

I think it's very good so I don't have certain thing that I dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering AWS Organizations:**

I recommend to use it as you can give different access to people, manage who will pay and who can instantiate instances and collaborate between teammates easily.

**What problems is AWS Organizations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are working on a ML project and running some ML model on AWS EC2 so we are using Organizations so that anyone can instantiate an instance and all of us can keep track of what's happening.

  ### 9. A must use for enterprise

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2018

**What do you like best about AWS Organizations?**

It is very easy to segregate your accounts and apply service control policies. I like the AWSServiceRoles that get automatically created in all member accounts. Integration with Guardduty, Config, Cloudtrail, Cloudformation is essential for security and automation

**What do you dislike about AWS Organizations?**

SCPs are fairly limited right now and need to support conditions.
The UX/UI needs some improvement
It is oddly difficult to remove/delete accounts

**Recommendations to others considering AWS Organizations:**

Do this early as possible. The later you do orgs, the harder it becomes to integrate properly. I also suggest mapping our your account structure early on - it is difficult to delete accounts.

**What problems is AWS Organizations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidated Billing

  ### 10. Organizations is a useful tool, that's not quite there.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Spencer S. | Sr. DevOps Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2018

**What do you like best about AWS Organizations?**

Ability to add other accounts (and pay for them) without having to add them manually and then connect them for a second step.

**What do you dislike about AWS Organizations?**

Currently, or at least the last time I used it, you have to create a root account email and then do a forgot password to actually log in as the new root user.

**What problems is AWS Organizations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handling paying and analyzing usage across our multiple teams/accounts.
