I love the ease of setting up the intranet with Powell Intranet, which makes things much simpler. I'm not sure what team others in this review section received, but we had a ton of customer support issues with the implementation team we worked with from Synergy. They gave us a basic product that required a lot of paid hours for any customization. We ended up paying a lot more than initially quoted on working hours that led to no real solutions. The Powell widgets look dated and wouldn't work as expected half of the time. Our internal team is much happier using our SharePoint intranet without the use of any Powell features. Powell doesn't care about you as a customer - they only care about your money. They promised an amazing intranet... we were given a basic sharepoint intranet and told we had to pay extra for anything else (that we had originally been promised). The developers are unable to do basic things such as an events calendar (which you can do in basic sharepoint), employee recognition, folders for policies, etc. The "training" they provide can only be described as laughable. Powell Manager is super easy to use, but also has an enormous number of features if you really want to dig into it. Their customer support is incredible and they are always willing to help me with some weird project or request that I might have. Our company relies on our intranet daily for many of their task and we have never had an outage.
