Planoly is one of the best tools to manage social media. I can easily connect multiple social media accounts and post on all accounts at the same time in a very few steps. I can also reschedule posts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a wonderful tool. there are no downsides to using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The feature makes it easy for posting content to instagram and facebook. You include your picture and captain and can schedule the posting when you want it to go live! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes the social media accounts get disconnected but this is easy to re-attach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very easy to use interface. It gives you the optimal times to post based on your audience and date. You can pre-plan and schedule batches of content, something especially nice for when you're on vacation. I also like that it lets you do special groups of hashtags by theme. That way you can add the group and edit as you see fit each time. It is connected to your account so that the posting is automatic at the time you have it scheduled, which is very convenient. I would like it if they could add the emojis to their texting windows since I currently copy/paste from my browser. I know they are starting to include reels now, but I still don't see that option on the interface. I only see posts and stories. These are little things that they can modify to improve the experience and remove confusion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Planoly helps to visually plan all your social media content in place. The auto post features allows you to plan the content for whole month and leave it on autopilot Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The paid plan is a little high end. It might be outside budget for small businesses Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I loved the visual feed on Planoly - it allowed me to batch content and map things out super easy. I also loved the ability to add placeholders. I'd usually drop all items into the feed at once in bulk, move things around where I wanted them, and work on each post as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most frustrating thing about Planoly was that it wasn't reliable. I found posts were not auto scheduling frequently. I manage multiple accounts so when content wasn't auto posting I'd have to go back in and manually post everything which defeated the purpose of why I opted to use Planoly in the first place. I like the ease of use the most. The website's layout makes it easy to schedule your post and stay organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are a few features that were previously included with the free plan that is no longer included or limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Calendar view and the new templates are great! The bio link feature is unique, creating a similar IG grid instead of just a link landing page. That's really pretty much it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Media organization is a bit confusing. Visual planner can also get overwhelming. Compared to Later's visual planner and media library, Planoly's could use some work. No approval process which is why we ended up leaving Planoly for another tool (not Later either) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I love about plannoly is the layout of the dashboard. You have a general view as a calendar and on the left, you also have your Instagram feed Including the likes and comments. This type of layout is super useful and easy to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The downside of plannoly is that is a paid tool. They offer a free plan but you can only link 1 account and you only have 30 uploads per month. If you are not planning on managing a big account and you are only going to use it for your personal account is great, but if you need to use it for your business you better get a paid plan. It has good analytics software. If Instagram is your main platform, this is a good option as you can visualize your grid and share the same post to Facebook and Twitter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has limited features - for carousels and reels you need to manually upload, so not good for busy social media managers who have multiple clients. Additionally, you can't share different posts on Facebook and Twitter, so it doesn't allow for variation between platforms (you can edit the text, but the image and time needs to remain the same).
