"Flexible Integration for Complex Workflows with Manual Import Hurdles"
4/5
What do you like best about Planfix?

I really value Planfix for its extreme flexibility that lets us tailor it around our real‑world creative agency workflows at Northwood Creative Studio in Olympia. Most competing tools push rigid out‑of‑the‑box templates and force your team to change how you operate, but Planfix lets me build custom fields, workflow status stages, and reusable task templates that match our branding, packaging and print‑project processes. This is extremely important for our 128‑person shop since we only have part‑time shared tech support and no dedicated in‑house IT staff. We got to experience this firsthand on a retail rebranding project for a local home‑goods merchant. Our account team logged special client feedback, custom paper‑stock preferences, and strict print bleed rules directly on the Planfix opportunity record. Once the deal marked as won, linked creative tasks auto‑assigned to designers and production. On one key moment, our production lead reviewed those embedded notes before exporting final artwork and caught a unique finishing requirement agreed with our external print supplier. If that detail had only lived in an old email thread, we would have sent incorrect files to the vendor and risked expensive re‑prints. Our whole team can pull up client background, revision history and vendor contact information within one single record, instead of jumping between multiple file storage folders and scattered spreadsheets. While dashboard setup can be finicky, the biggest win is cutting down costly cross‑team blind spots between account management, designers and production. This unified environment keeps critical project context accessible and helps us avoid the kinds of communication breakdowns we frequently dealt with back when we were still using Progress Podio. What do you dislike about Planfix?

Even with its powerful customization, Planfix’s file‑attachment performance creates consistent day‑to‑day headaches for our Olympia graphic‑design agency. When we stack high‑resolution brand assets, layered source files and large print‑ready PDFs onto a single busy project record, page load times degrade very obviously. There is no lazy‑loading feature, so every attachment starts loading immediately upon opening the task page, even if the user only wants to read text‑based brief notes. Earlier this year while working on that same home‑goods retail rebrand, our designers would routinely wait 45‑70 seconds just to open the main project record, wasting time across multiple daily visits. A further frustration is inconsistent in‑browser preview support. Many of our production‑grade print‑optimized PDFs cannot render thumbnails at all. Our production team had no quick visual way to confirm they opened the correct revision, so they were forced to download every file locally for quick verification. That created piles of duplicate local copies across team devices and added download lag especially for multi‑hundred‑megabyte assets. Old proof files also pile up over successive client revision rounds and there is no batch archive option; we have to delete outdated attachments one‑by‑one. On top of file issues, building custom dashboards can feel messy. Some filter criteria for project status and client industry act unpredictably, and I spend extra hours adjusting layouts to get usable internal performance views for our agency‑wide check‑ins. All these small pain points add up and create unnecessary manual overhead for our busy designers and production staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Planfix is a constructor that I have been looking for for a long time"
5/5
What do you like best about Planfix?

I believe that the fundamental feature of Planfix is that this system has a well-thought-out philosophy of its structure. That is why Planfix, constantly expanding its functionality, does not allow the user to plunge into chaos. After understanding and orienting myself in the main idea, the initial complexity of perceiving the system quickly passed for me. I received an excellent and quite flexible instrument for organizing and automating the processes of my company. Planfix is a low-code product, while it is quite clear. We can make most of the necessary settings ourselves.

Currently, we have reduced all communication channels with our clients to Planfix: e-mail, social networks, messengers. We put order in our internal communication, set up the main process of interaction with clients. Through the "Analytics" tool, we organized our nomenclature with all parameters - one of our directions is commodity business. Integration with postal carriers is almost ready to automate the creation of waybills and tracking of shipment statuses. There will be a report later and I hope for a lot more :)

The support service deserves special attention - for me, this is a good indicator of the performance of the entire service. All my queries were handled quickly and I got the prompts I needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planfix?

A conditional disadvantage can be called the fact that it takes time to study. But for me personally, it was an interesting path, I was interested in watching educational videos.

When setting up product groups and nomenclature, I wanted to have an instrument of interconnected fields. But he is not there now. It seems to me that this significantly added attractiveness to the system. At least I know that such a development has been announced.

Another disadvantage for us is that Planfix does not have an official representative in Ukraine. Therefore, we are not able to pay bills from a company, but can only pay from an individual. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"We implement Planfix, an excellent product"
5/5
What do you like best about Planfix?

We are an integration company specializing in the selection, implementation, and support of business software. We are familiar with numerous software solutions available in the world. We began implementing Planfix in 2022. We chose this system because it follows a proven ideology and has been on the market for over 10 years. We were impressed by the price and quality of the product, as well as its scalability for businesses of all sizes. It is suitable for organizing the work of virtually all company departments. You can create unique business processes and integrate various services. We work closely with the Planfix development team to continuously improve this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planfix?

Specialists are required to set up this software product. That's why we decided to study this system and become a guide for businesses. Due to the extensive capabilities hidden within the Planfix interface, it's challenging to explain the full value to owners and company directors for whom the program is being implemented. As our experience shows, more companies turn to Planfix when they couldn't implement their complex business processes in other systems. And that's pretty cool! "Two years of working with Planfix, and there's something special about it."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Planfix?

I've been using Planfix for over two years, and this service has become an indispensable part of my work life. It provides incredible efficiency and convenience in managing tasks, projects, and client relationships.

The most important aspect of Planfix for me is its flexibility. I've been able to create and customize workflows that perfectly match my unique requirements. I can confidently say that the system has an intuitive interface and excellent documentation. You can even find setup tutorials on YouTube.

Planfix has also saved me a lot of time thanks to its automation capabilities. The ability to set up scenarios that trigger based on specific conditions and events is simply fantastic!

I believe Planfix is well-suited for setting up service desks and manufacturing workflows, and probably many other fields as well; it's a versatile tool.

A major revelation has been the support team behind this system. Their response time averages just one hour, and their competence level is top-notch.

What's important is that the product is actively evolving. In the two years of using it, I've seen Planfix constantly introduce new features and improvements, taking user needs into account.

In the end, Planfix has become a valuable tool that has improved my workflow and increased my team's efficiency. I'm grateful for this application and eagerly look forward to its further developments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planfix?

I can add that what I currently miss in it is linked fields and a more visual way to work with users in different time zones. But I'm confident that the developers are already working on implementing these features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
