For this specific workflow, though, G2 reviewers point to several strong options:

Bloomreach: An e-commerce manager highlights strong control over search and product rankings, while other reviewers value personalized merchandising, customer segmentation, and omnichannel campaigns.

Constructor: Digital merchandising reviewers praise AI-driven search and discovery that learns from shopper behavior while still giving teams control over ranking and merchandising.

Salesforce B2C Commerce: Reviewers highlight personalized journeys, predictive recommendations, automated sorting, promotions, and scalability across high-volume storefronts.

Luigi's Box: E-commerce reviewers value accurate search intent, relevant recommendations, and better product discovery across large catalogs.

edrone: E-commerce teams mention personalization, product recommendations, customer segmentation, and automation alongside an interface they can manage without heavy technical involvement.

What stands out is the level of control each team wants. Constructor and Bloomreach get strong feedback when merchandisers want AI assistance without losing ranking control. Salesforce B2C Commerce is more suited to broader commerce operations, while Luigi’s Box and edrone focus heavily on discovery and personalized engagement.

For e-commerce managers, where does personalization make the biggest difference today: search results, product recommendations, category pages, or promotional campaigns?

The control question matters a lot once personalization scales. I’d want merchandisers to be able to override the model for launches, inventory pressure, margin priorities, or contractual placements without rebuilding rules from scratch. The useful test isn’t only whether AI improves relevance, but how quickly a human can intervene when commercial priorities change.
