## About Ping Identity
Ping Identity is a type of identity management solution designed to help organizations implement Zero Trust security frameworks while enhancing user experiences across various platforms. With a focus on intelligent identity solutions, Ping Identity empowers enterprises to securely manage access to cloud, mobile, Software as a Service (SaaS), and on-premises applications, facilitating a seamless integration of identity management into their digital business strategies. The target audience for Ping Identity primarily includes large enterprises and organizations that require robust security measures and streamlined access management for their workforce, customers, and partners. This solution is particularly beneficial for businesses operating in hybrid environments, where applications and data are spread across multiple platforms and locations. By adopting Ping Identity, organizations can ensure that their security protocols are not only effective but also user-friendly, thereby improving overall productivity and satisfaction. Key features of the PingOne Cloud Platform include single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and adaptive authentication, which collectively enhance security while simplifying the user experience. The platform's SSO capability allows users to access multiple applications with a single set of credentials, reducing password fatigue and improving user compliance. MFA adds an extra layer of security by requiring additional verification steps, which is crucial in today’s threat landscape. Adaptive authentication further strengthens security by assessing user behavior and context, enabling organizations to respond dynamically to potential risks. Ping Identity stands out in the identity management category through its commitment to open standards and strategic partnerships with industry leaders such as Microsoft and Amazon. This approach not only enhances interoperability with existing systems but also ensures that organizations can leverage the latest technologies and innovations in identity management. By providing flexible solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each enterprise, Ping Identity accelerates digital transformation initiatives, enhances customer engagement, and fortifies security measures, making it a valuable asset for any organization looking to navigate the complexities of modern identity management.

## Ping Identity Reviews
 ### 1. Comprehensive, Stable Authentication Suite That’s Easy to Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naveen Kumar S. | Application Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

Ping AM provides a comprehensive authentication suite that covers all the essential features while still being relatively easy to use. It supports industry-standard authentication protocols and modules, including OAuth, federation, SAML, and more. In production environments, the platform has proven to be highly stable. Ping AM also continues to evolve by adopting emerging technologies such as AI agent identity management, which reflects a clear commitment to staying ahead of industry trends.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Upgrades haven’t been very straightforward for us, especially when deploying the Ping suite on our own cluster using custom images. From what I’ve seen, PingOne (cloud identity) provides a much more seamless experience because upgrades are fully managed. By contrast, our on-prem deployments have caused some challenges during upgrades in the past. That said, the support team has been great at helping us work through those issues and get back on track.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ping AM, Ping DS, and Ping IDM together serve as our centralized identity and access management solution. Ping AM handles authentication and authorization across our applications, Ping DS provides a reliable and scalable directory service for storing identity data, and Ping IDM manages identity lifecycle operations such as provisioning and synchronization. Together, they help us enforce consistent security policies, support single sign-on (SSO) for a seamless user experience, and integrate with industry-standard protocols like OAuth and federation. By consolidating identity management into a single platform suite, it reduces complexity and ensures secure access control at scale

 ### 2. Scalable and Reliable Identity Management at Massive Scale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter B. | Manager - Access Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

I really appreciate Ping Identity for its scalability and ability to handle complex identity management processes. It's great with passwordless functionality and excels at protecting applications and APIs at a large scale. It integrates really well with other technologies, especially with the newer capabilities like DaVinci for orchestration and PingCentral, which is a new experience for me. I find its templates extremely valuable as they speed up the process by allowing app owners to manage or change functions easily. Its reliability and ability to solve unique use cases are also big pluses for me.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Sometimes the documentation could be more searchable and detailed. It's not that the documentation is bad, but there are times when there's missing information or it's not detailed enough, especially when looking for working examples. This can be challenging because everyone's unique environments don't necessarily align with out-of-the-box solutions.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Ping Identity for managing identity processes with PAM and IGA integration globally, solving complex user journeys due to segregated identity types at scale.

 ### 3. Unmatched Stability and Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

I find Ping Identity's system to be unbelievably stable and capable. It's impressively deployed in our own Kubernetes cluster along with cloud services, which really delivers an exceptional time to value. I appreciate the configurability from the software and the speed with the services. The risk-based access control and stability were key reasons for us to switch from Keycloak and OpenSAML. The initial setup was very easy, almost plug and play, although we needed to do a little work to make it function in our Kubernetes cluster.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

There is a limited amount of marketing and understanding regarding the solution stack in the market. Therefore integration partners will say 'we cannot do it' as their documentation does not mention it.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Ping Identity for risk-based authentication, seamlessly managing access and credentials, providing stability and comprehensive configurability, delivering exceptional time to value.

 ### 4. Hong Kong Jockey Club CIAM Implementation

Integration with various digital channels was relatively straight forward.

UI / UX provided a much improved customer experience.

When needed support was given promptly and at the right time. Regular communication with the customer support team and Professional Services was invaluable.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Development team appears to be largely US based so this means communication needs to be carefully managed.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**
