"Flexible, Powerful EPM with Great Performance and Responsive Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pigment?

A flexible, powerful tool for interdimensional analysis across all of a company’s reporting axes. Pigment truly fits its software category as an “Enterprise Performance Management” (EPM) tool. User experience is fully customizable, offers a wide variety of settings. Integrations are fairly easy with the support of an IT team. Performance is great even when handling billions of dimension intersections. Pricing is high which is often the case for this kind of tool, but not as much as competitors. Support is reactive and efficient. AI capabilities are still in progress but the documentation agent is already proficient in finding and it's already possible to create agents or scheduled AI missions. What do you dislike about Pigment?

Not much, there can be bugs here and there but so far the support team intervened rapidly to tackle them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The future performance management hub of our company"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pigment?

I love the speed at which Pigment evolves, its flexibility, and its computing power. The modern design and AI-first orientation make the product truly practical. The modeler is ultra-powerful for developing new functions and testing new concepts or tools without investing too much human time in development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pigment?

Even though Frame has just arrived in beta, we struggled a bit with the "reporting layout" in the project. We wanted to avoid going back to Excel, but sometimes we had to. The multiplication of blocks, formulas, measures, etc., sometimes makes the management interface a bit complex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Power-Packed Performance Management Tool"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pigment?

I really enjoy the flexibility of Pigment's dashboarding; it’s been able to meet every request from clients, and I haven't found a chart we couldn't make. The ability to multi-select items from a list within a dropdown is super helpful, especially compared to Anaplan. The introduction of frames is incredibly exciting and offers vast capabilities that will delight clients. I also find the natively sparse engine fantastic for handling large data lists, saving us from what's typically a heavy computational workload. Furthermore, I'm impressed by how fast Pigment releases new features and how swiftly it's enhancing its AI capabilities. The development, customer success, and support teams at Pigment are friendly and supportive, adding to the overall positive experience. The test and deploy feature is particularly useful, as it allows us to strongly position Pigment for our clients. Overall, the AI capabilities are significantly better than those of Anaplan, making it a compelling choice for clients interested in AI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pigment?

The user access and security setting in Pigment is the hardest to set up. It seems to be a bit overengineered, offering too much flexibility, which can be overwhelming. I felt like I needed someone from Pigment's support to help make sure it's set up correctly for a client. But that's really the only drawback I can think of. "Power Pivot on Steroids—Intuitive, Modern Planning with Real-Time Collaboration"
5/5
What do you like best about Pigment?

Pigment is best described as Power Pivot on steroids—but far more intuitive and user-friendly. It combines powerful data modeling capabilities with a clean, modern interface that makes complex financial and operational planning much easier to manage. The real-time collaboration and scenario planning features are especially impressive, allowing teams to move quickly and make informed decisions without the usual friction of legacy systems.

Equally impressive is their customer support—responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping you succeed. Questions are handled quickly, and the team provides clear, actionable guidance, which makes a big difference when implementing or scaling the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pigment?

As with any robust platform, there is an initial learning curve when building more advanced models. However, this is quickly offset by how flexible and scalable the system becomes once you are familiar with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Interface and Process Simplification"
4/5
What do you like best about Pigment?

I appreciate that Pigment avoids the use of complex Excel files, reducing errors. The software is truly easier to use and manage. Compared to other EPMs, backend handling is simpler and Pigment is much more user-friendly. The interface makes it easier to access metrics and dimensions hidden in a table. Ease of use is a big plus for me. AI agents facilitating use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pigment?

The management of rights could be improved. There are too many "layers" on access rights, which complicates things a bit sometimes. Tool costs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use, Visually Clear Dashboards with Powerful Filtering"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pigment?

Pigments is easy to use and visually appealing. It’s very clear, and we’re able to filter using almost all categories. Even though we also use other tools like Google Sheets and other ATS platforms, we still push data to Pigments so we can get a much clearer view on the dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pigment?

You need to learn how to use Pigment, and it definitely has a learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Supply Chain Planning with Pigment and AI"
5/5
What do you like best about Pigment?

Pigment is a very powerful planning tool that helps us with our supply chain planning. Right now, with AI, it’s also helping us adapt our needs more quickly within the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pigment?

After using other EPM tools, I feel that the modifiers are a little bit different from what I’m used to in other tools, and I found that a bit difficult at first. Maybe I’ll adapt more after using the tool for a longer time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable FP&A Tool with Robust Data Modeling"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pigment?

I like Pigment's strong and stable data model, which helps us model data better and reduces the risk of mistakes. The embedded audit trail is another aspect I appreciate as it makes it easier to track who did what and when, along with storing more details and backups. I also enjoy the safer and easier communication Pigment provides, allowing us to set stronger access rights and avoid using Outlook to share Excel files. Additionally, the initial setup was easy enough with external support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pigment?

It's challenging to implement for non-technical personnel. Modeling data can be quite difficult, especially with formulas. The functions, like the formula wizard, could be expanded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
