I use Photos to collect memories. I really like the AI remove option because it can do more than just remove things. It was very easy to use from the 1st second. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that the design of Photos used to be better. It was more simple before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like Photos because it is very easy to see. I think the photos are the easiest to view and use. When I take pictures with my phone, they are automatically saved, and I can create many folders, so every time I travel, I create a new folder to organize and review them later, which is very convenient. Categories are created by year, giving a nostalgic feeling. Also, since the photos are displayed in a list, it's easy to find the photos you took right away. The facial recognition feature creates folders for people with the same face, making it easy to find photos for uploading to SNS on birthdays, etc., which is very convenient. These features enhance the value of Photos and make it very user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that sometimes the selected photos are not deleted correctly, and when using AirDrop, the photos are sorted by the time they were taken, which makes them jumbled and difficult to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I do like that Apple does make little videos from time to time but pretty much everything else about the Photos app is the same as Google Photos Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I hate that they keep changing and up and it’s so hard to find basically albums Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use Photos as my primary app for managing and organizing my photo gallery. I first started using it because a friend was using it and I liked what I saw. Setting it up was incredibly easy, which encouraged me to continue using it. I am impressed with its effectiveness in helping me organize my gallery and really understand my albums better. The general interface is very user-friendly, and I particularly appreciate the editing functions within the app. These features not only make it easy to manage my photos but also enhance my ability to edit them conveniently. The intuitive nature of the app's interface, coupled with powerful editing tools, provides a seamless experience which is why I didn't feel the need to consider other options. I simply rely on Photos for all my photo management and editing needs, making it an indispensable tool for me. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would definitely recommend Photos with a score of 10. I really like Photos for the options it offers and the simple usage of the tools, especially the blur feature and the ability to adjust light and contrast. I find the auto enhance feature quite handy. The initial setup was really fast, which was great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When I save it, sometimes it comes out different because the resolution option is kind of hard to find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that Photos is easy to use and allows me to search for photos efficiently. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the user interface. I would like it to be more user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Photos is its clean interface and seamless syncing across all my devices. It automatically organizes my pictures by date, location, and people, making it easy to find what I need. The built-in editing tools are simple but effective—great for quick touch-ups or enhancements without needing advanced software. I also appreciate the AI features like facial recognition and automatic albums, which save a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about Photos is the limited advanced editing features. For users who want more professional-level tools, it can feel too basic. Also, managing large libraries can slow down performance over time, especially on older devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about Google Photos is how it automatically backs up all my pictures and videos without me having to think about it. I also love the powerful search function. The AI-powered organization that groups photos by people and places is incredibly helpful for finding what I need. Plus, the seamless integration with other Google services is a huge convenience. It's also fun to see the automatic creations like movies and animations that it makes from my photos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main downside for me is the limited free storage, since the 15GB is shared across all my Google services it fills up pretty quickly, especially with videos. I also find that some of the more advanced editing tools are only available with a paid subscription. While the automatic organization is great, I wish there were better options for manually creating and managing folders to structure my albums the way I want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Photos is integrated into both my laptop and my desktop Macs, plus my iPhone. This just makes it handy because my photos are always available no matter what device and no matter where I am at. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is designed to work for everyone, therefore, at times the app seems a bit clunky. Like, there are better apps at handling photos, but I stick with this one because it's part of the MacOS and iOS environments. It's more convenient, mostly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
