"PDQ Connect: Fast, Intuitive UI That Delivers Instant Results"
5/5
What do you like best about PDQ?

PDQ has always felt first and foremost like they care about the UI. I have used many RMM products, and I have always just preferred the way PDQ is set out. Connect went about it different from Deploy and Inventory but PDQ still hit the nail on the head. Of Course, I can't forget to mention that I love it because it is QUICK. When I ask PDQ to do something it does it now. not on Microsoft time. so, when the next sync happens. It is instant satisfaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDQ?

The web UI, which is funny to say after complimenting the UI. When I went to Connect from Deploy/Inventory I knew the comprises was in the UI. being bound into the browser makes bulk actions in the UI harder compared to the Deploy/Inventory Full application. But PDQ still does a stellar job with the web UI. When Connect was announced PDQ knew at the jump that the PowerShell scanner was a must. But it took almost 4 years for me to get my hands on it. So, timeline on that feature was a bummer. but we do what we must with what we have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-Time Management Anywhere with PDQ Connect’s Flexible Scans and Deployments"
4.5/5
What do you like best about PDQ?

PDQ Connect is agent-based, so as long as a device has network connectivity, I can view and manage it in real time. This has been a big improvement over our previous on-prem PDQ. The vendor-provided packages, device group filtering, and constant updates are a big part of why we chose PDQ over other RMM platforms. It’s also very flexible, with custom scans, easy deployment of in-house batch/PowerShell scripts, and helpful blog and YouTube articles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDQ?

Because we depend on PDQ’s own servers, there’s the occasional service interruption. That wasn’t an issue with the on-prem solution, but it’s very infrequent and usually results in delays rather than a complete outage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"PDQ Connect: Effortless Deployments, Remote Management, and Excellent Support"
5/5
What do you like best about PDQ?

What I like most about PDQ Connect is how easy it makes it to deploy and update software, build and roll out packages, troubleshoot devices, and view inventory details all from a single console. It integrates smoothly with our existing environment, saves our IT team a significant amount of time, and lets us manage devices no matter where they’re located. The support team has also been excellent: responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful whenever we have questions or need assistance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDQ?

So far, there really hasn’t been anything significant that I dislike about PDQ Connect. It has been reliable, easy to use, and has continued to meet our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Agentless Tool with a Great UI and Rapidly Expanding Capabilities"
5/5
What do you like best about PDQ?

It doesn’t need an agent to function, and it’s managed through a web-based portal with a great UI. It also has a rapidly growing set of capabilities, offering direct parity with multiple other products in the market at a fair price. We used PDQ Deploy and Inventory for nearly a decade before Connect, and this feels like it took D&I and merged it with a long-term vision—integrating well-built and acquired technology to create a powerful tool that works for companies of all sizes and across different markets.

PDQ is a great company with a lot of skilled technology employees who genuinely understand what their tools need to do and what users require. Support has been great, and they’re delivering some of the best at-scale implementation of modern features at a rapid pace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDQ?

Over time, there have been a few bugs and issues tied to behind-the-scenes changes, which have led to some minor problems and occasional confusion. That said, their support has been responsive and helpful, and they’ve been quick to address and fix things when possible. I’m willing to take it with a grain of salt because the pace of feature releases is fast, and they’ve shown a clear willingness to spend time refining the product based on issues and feedback. "Uncomplicated and Efficient: PDQ Connect in Action"
5/5
What do you like best about PDQ?

PDQ Connect makes deploying and patching software on multiple devices easy and straightforward. I find the inventory system particularly helpful, allowing you to check the current status of software and updates at any time. The automation, meaning the automatic patching of software, is fantastic. The ability to create custom scanners and use the packages provided by PDQ for software updates saves a lot of time. Additionally, the remote desktop application allows seamless access to devices, whether within the company network or from outside. The installation was super easy, and thanks to the official support, we were able to transfer our existing settings to PDQ Connect in no time. It simply does what it's supposed to do without being complicated. All of this together makes PDQ Connect a fantastic tool for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDQ?

One issue with PDQ Connect is deploying commands in the user context, as it runs as a SYSTEM service on the devices. Sometimes we need a quick way to execute CMD/Powershell commands as the currently logged-in user. There are workarounds through packages that can be executed as a user, but this involves additional effort. Additionally, this issue also affects the scanner functionality, which also runs as a SYSTEM service on the clients rather than in the user context. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Straightforward, Fast Remote Support That Makes IT Work Easier"
5/5
What do you like best about PDQ?

What I like best about PDQ Connect is how straightforward it is to use. It's made supporting users a lot easier, especially with people working remotely. The remote access is fast, software deployment is simple, and being able to run PowerShell without taking over someone's screen is a real time saver. The layout is easy to navigate, so I can quickly find what I need without wasting time. Overall, it's a solid tool that just makes day-to-day IT support much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDQ?

There isn't much I dislike, but I'd like to see a few more advanced features added over time. Sometimes I'd like more reporting and automation options, and a few tasks still require using other tools. It would also be nice if the remote session connected a bit quicker on slower internet connections. Other than that, it's been reliable and does what I need it to do. "PDQ Connect Gets the Job Done"
4/5
What do you like best about PDQ?

My experience with PDQ Connect has been very positive. I’ve used it to build and deploy custom PowerShell packages for Windows feature upgrades, security remediations, Windows Update repair, Microsoft 365 configuration reporting, and complex application installation and removal workflows. The cloud-based agent makes it convenient to manage remote endpoints without relying on the traditional PDQ Deploy infrastructure. There is a learning curve when converting older packages, particularly around Local System execution, attachments, conditions, exit codes, and reboot handling. Once those behaviors are understood, PDQ Connect is flexible, dependable, and well suited to repeatable endpoint automation. I would still like to see continued improvements to package creation and workflow visibility, but it has already become a valuable part of my endpoint-management toolkit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDQ?

Compared with Deploy & Inventory, PDQ Connect still feels less mature. Existing packages do not always migrate cleanly, some steps require PowerShell workarounds, and complex reboot workflows take more effort. I also miss the deeper inventory, reporting, and hands-on control of the on-prem products. Connect is better for remote devices, but Deploy & Inventory remain more flexible. "Vulnerability Scanning and Automated Patch Management Saves Time"
5/5
What do you like best about PDQ?

I love the Vulnerability Scanner and the automated patch management for low-risk applications like browsers. This lets me focus on the patches which require testing and coordinated deployment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDQ?

Pushing large packages (Windows updates) from the cloud console is really slow if you don't have the WAN bandwidth to support it. For large patch files, I find PDQ Deploy much more suited to our environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Premium Cloud-Based Patching Solution with a Variety of Tools"
4.5/5
What do you like best about PDQ?

PDQ Connect is a cloud-based patch management solution that works brilliantly. What I like best about PDQ Connect is the tools that are at your disposal, being able to automatically deploy, and patch software, remotely send commands, support users via remote desktop, and useful reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDQ?

The cost can be quite high, especially if multiple users have been given licences. You also can't deploy commands as a Windows admin user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
