I love that it recommends suggestions for what isn't inclusive in job descriptions. It challenges us to think outside the box! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I hope there are a few more customization options in future when we talk about things like benefits language (it tends to vary on this front). It would be awesome in future to have some folders available for actually filing and organizing our top tier JDs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think Datapeople has a good mission and purpose, I like the idea of using AI to help my teams write better and more equitable job descriptions. The UX /UI is solid and very easy to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think Datapeople needs some work on the corrections and suggestions for what to take out. When there is a line in a JD about "analytical skills" or "communication skills," Datapeople tells us that it's too ambiguous and we should remove it. However, there are obviously jobs that truly do require these skills. I understand that the goal is to remove vagueness, but I think there needs to be more clear suggestions of what can be used instead rather than just saying that we shouldn't use "analytical skills." A positive example of this would be the suggestions for "Excel skills," I like that there are 3 separate suggestions listed of specific Excel skills. That is the kind of suggestion that is truly helpful rather than the ones that just tell us to remove an important skill for the role. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the user-friendly platform and visuals that provide insights. I love the layout and suggested changes the platform offers to ensure we are providing the best information possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downside does not fully understand the difference between writing a post and creating a job. Are they the same thing? Does writing a job save it automatically or are you required to create the job? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've used Datapeople to create JDs, and am amazed at how easy it is to create a great JD that will draw in just the right candidates! Getting advice on JD length, and suggestions on what phrases to use, and which ones not to use, was incredibly helpful and made the process quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There were a few instances where I tried to address a flag that Datapeople raised about my JD - for example, suggesting I provide information about location of the job, but it didn't recognize that I had done so. It would be nice if you could somehow respond to or override a suggestion in such cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Datapeople is an indispensable tool that aids with writing job descriptions and recruiting emails. Datapeople's software focuses on eliminating non-inclusive language. Such language is known to deter engagement from job seekers. Datapeople specializes in editing vocabulary to be more inclusive to applicants from various backgrounds or skill sets. It also aids in writing more succinct summaries of relevant job tasks and eliminating redundant or generally understood activities (such as Microsoft Office familiarity). Datapeople also rates drafts of published job descriptions, notifying users of whether a job description is too long or too exclusive in composition before posting it. Overall, Datapeople's robust, easy-to-learn features make it an essential edition to any organization's recruiting team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only real flaw with Datapeople is that, unfortunately, it lacks some features regarding organization-mandated language. For example, Hightower Advisors requires specific verbiage when describing our company's history and values. I understand that these sentences contribute to a job description's length. Still, it would be appreciated if there was a way for it not to consider language related to company mandates or local employment laws. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
it helps me draft the job ad in very less time and it also gives me hints to improve the quality of my job ad. The best thing i like about it is it also help me to learn new idea about drafting my job ad templates Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As of now i dont have any dislike to tell about the Datapeople, so far it is all good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It highlights possible biases and mistakes and generates suggestions to improve your text and attract a diverse candidate pool. It is user-friendly and integrated with our standard recruitment tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some corrections and suggestions are not applicable to the specific text (with context in mind), but you cannot ignore those. So your score is affected, while you can't always help it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Data-people provides very thoughtful insights - the feedback it provides is valuable in supporting a recruiter's recommendations to hiring managers and truly encourages change in what's published. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For my company specifically, it can be hard to fit everything necessary into a job posting while still getting a "good" score. The amount of COMPANY required content leaves very little room for the JOB specific necessary content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
