The sidebar and overall functionality is user-friendly, not overly complicated. I am able to complete my desired tasks without having to click around too many times. I struggle with the video call rooms, as they often don't work properly. Because of this, I have to use Google Meets for client meetings quite a bit. Also, I wish the payment process was faster. It currently takes up to 14 days for credit card payments to be fully processed and reflected on the client's account, which can be frustrating. There are a couple of things I'd like to see improved in Owl Practice. It can be frustrating that I can't have both my own practice and the other therapist's practice that I work with open at the same time. I have to shut down one before opening the other, which is a bit inconvenient. Also, it's challenging not to see what my clients see when I sign them up for the client portal. To get around this, I had to create fictitious clients with an email I can access, but it'd be great if there was a simpler way to view the client experience directly. I wish some features were more user friendly. I find the Telus E Claims service to be cumbersome and difficult to use because it requires that I manually input my client's name and date of birth each time rather than pulling that information from their profile. I enjoy being able to organize my clients and to be able to keep records in a safe PHIPA compliant environment. When I do have issues, I am able to get support and they are also welcome feedback. I like the additional perks involved that allow me to make accounting easier when it comes to compiling my taxes. I find that the quality of video connection can be improved. Sometimes, I find that I am unable to get video or sound may be off sometimes. However, I still have it as a good back up option. I would also like to see entire file transfers when a colleague or group practice is closing and opening another one under a different OWL practice file that there can be a full transfer with consent in place to be able to transfer files because it can be cumbersome to take file by file transfers. There's a bit of a glitch with the smart notes feature. When I record directly into the app, it often gives me an error message saying the recording failed to upload, and the entire note is missing. This happens probably half the time, and it's frustrating because I then have to record a synopsis afterward, which is a hassle. Until this issue is resolved, I've had to record separately and upload, which adds an extra step and complicates managing the privacy of those recordings.
