I love the speed, and the self-hosted option is a big plus. Sharing and custom domains are particularly great because I can share my personal notes with them. It works very fast and can even function as a PWA, making it my truly knowledge base. The initial setup was really easy and it worked well just in 10 minutes. **What do you dislike about Outline?** Unfortunately, it all comes to the S3 integration, I'd like to see it work with Cloudflare R2 or similar, cheaper object storages since I'd like to store as much data as I can there, but S3 egress costs are way too much for personal use. They need to add support for more 3rd party providers besides S3 and make storage options more flexible. **What problems is Outline solving and how is that benefiting you?** Outline solved my issue of losing track of notes, as collections and public sharing make it a perfect tool. It is straightforward to create folders and files. We, as a team, found it very easy to create a collection and collate the required documents in outline and found it very easy to access as well. **What do you dislike about Outline?** One issue I felt concerning is while adding Google docs, sheets link in a document, the response is slow, and the preview snapshot of the link is too large. I also felt there could be image editing features; I wanted to crop an image post addition into a document, which I could not do straightforwardly. **What problems is Outline solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can easily document and share my work within and across teams. I can also easily view my fellow team members' work and comment on it without asking them for the documents every time. This helps us in speeding up the work and introspect easily. Got a port error while setting it up in ubuntu, tried to fix the error from the internet, and it worked.
