I liked the Markdown Editing feature provided by Outline, as it allowed me to format text, create headings, and incorporate images and links without the need for complex formatting options. This made it easy for me to focus on content creation and ensure document consistency. Also, it is effortless to integrate it with other popular tools, like Google Drive, Dropbox, and GitHub, thus making it a precious tool for my team as we were looking to streamline our document workflows and maintain organised documentation, something that we had been looking for for a very long time. One issue I felt concerning is while adding Google docs, sheets link in a document, the response is slow, and the preview snapshot of the link is too large. The outline is a user-friendly interface to enhance productivity. It helps me in staying organised and manage information effectively. As a normal user, I find Outline more efficient than Microsoft Word as we can create structured silhouettes with nested topics and subtopics, making it effortless to break down complex concepts into sections, giving me more focus on the tasks. To give the users the best experience while using the tool, they can focus on a few things, as cost structure can be a bit lesser for those with basic outlining needs, and improve the performance by fixing the stability issues. Using Outline, we can create knowledge base documents for co-teammates. We can collaborate live with comments on the documents. Overall, the Outline experience is effortless; the Document mentions the topic and starts writing like a notepad. And it supports key shortcuts to edit our document. Support Dark mode. We can share the permission with our co-workers, who can edit the same document. It provides the archive and trash feature also. Even we can integrate it with Slack for quick sharing the documents. Integrates with Slack - some people may like this or not like this aspect depnding on your Slack outlook. Our team already uses Slack so integration was easy and I liked that aspect of it. The user interface of Outline is beautiful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
