I thought that Oracle was pretty great with what we needed to use it for, but it always felt like we were always just slightly off from what the full product could do. As with many CMS functionalities, they can be very difficult to assess and understand. However, Oracle Web Center is easy to navigate, and one gets used to the functionality complexities, the platform is easier to use and navigate. The complexity of the program, and the constant crashing of the program. Due to the difficulty of all the components that are available with this program, sometimes the platform has constant crashes. When it works, I can research check payments to find details. I can search by check number or MICR number, etc. It will bring up each page scanned by the bank and uploaded. As a web developer I used WebCenter for 6 months with a small group of colleagues, what I love about it are as follows: 1. Content Management. 2. Support of multiple sites. 3. The developer tools support was also an awesome feature. 4. The support we got from Oracle in the configuration and development was very good. (With more money comes good support. Yeah this product is costly for small firms, I started using this with a bunch of colleges, no doubt its awesome software but the only reason we left using this product was the pricing, it was not at all feasible for few people to afford such high price software. Product is very expensive to check if you can afford the product. Needs high level of expertise to use this tool, so go for it only if you can use it effectively. The customer support from orcale is really good, they will help you in configuring the product and in basic understanding of the product.
