Openpyxl is a Python library for reading and writing Excel 2010 xlsx/xlsm/xltx/xltm files. It was born from lack of existing library to read/write natively from Python the Office Open XML format.

**What do you like best about openpyxl?**

Easy to use
Easy to create multiple sheets
There is also a provision to write  dictionary/list data 
Easy to perform read/write operations between multiple excel files 
It's an open source library 
You can perform search and sort operations on data

**What do you dislike about openpyxl?**

Losing merged cells border while editing Excel file 
Sometimes can't open newly created excel file 
Memory usage is high by comparing with other libraries 

**Recommendations to others considering openpyxl:**

It's an open source library 
Easy to work with multiple excel sheets.
it's very fast in reading operations and give better performance 
You can perform search and sort operations on data

**What problems is openpyxl solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While working with boring stuff like copying data between multiple files, we can automate it  and reading data is faster by applying search functionality

**What do you like best about openpyxl?**

ease of use.  it's super easy to use and gets the job done. the ability to quickly write pages upon pages of excel; do formatting for graphs etc make it incredibly powerful

**What do you dislike about openpyxl?**

I can't criticize too much; it doesn't come with a number to excel letter converter but that's easy enough to code

**Recommendations to others considering openpyxl:**

try it out; it's python based so yeah...

**What problems is openpyxl solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to be able to read and write excel  (xlsx) files for the current project I have; using openpyxl has made doing such incredibly easy
