# What contractor payment tools cut down payment processing time for teams where each payment used to take 30 minutes and require double checking?

I’m looking less at payment speed alone and more at how much manual review the tool removes.

For teams comparing contractor payments, the fit depends on the bottleneck.

If each payment eats 30 minutes, the fix probably isn't a faster payment tool, it's killing the double-checking, and that comes from batch runs plus a system contractors enter their own details into. Once they own their payout info, you stop being the error-checker. The 30 minutes is manual verification, not the transfer clearing. How many of those minutes are actually re-keying and confirming bank details? Automate the part that's really eating the time.
