## OnePlan Reviews
  ### 1. Complex Enterprise Implementation—Needs Strong Governance for Consistent Insights

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about OnePlan?**

The integration with Microsoft tools is a major advantage, especially since we’re already using Teams, Power BI, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem. The reporting and dashboard capabilities make it easier to support data-driven decisions, and they also help improve cross-functional alignment.

**What do you dislike about OnePlan?**

OnePlan can feel complex to implement and fully optimize at the enterprise level. It often requires upfront alignment on governance, portfolio structure, and reporting standards before it can deliver consistent, high-value visibility. Without that foundation, insights may feel uneven or inconsistent across teams. The platform also has a steep learning curve, especially around configuration and data structure. It can take time to standardize processes, align teams on a common approach, and ensure the reporting reflects the right inputs. In that sense, reporting is only as strong as the underlying setup, and early adoption can feel heavier than expected.

**What problems is OnePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility into projects in flight, what’s at risk, and how work aligns to strategic priorities is critical. OnePlan brings all of that together in a single portfolio view, giving leadership a clearer picture to support better decisions.

It also addresses resource and capacity misalignment. Teams often overcommit or underutilize people because demand and capacity aren’t connected in one system. OnePlan helps map resource availability to project demand, so staffing decisions feel more realistic, balanced, and easier to manage.

  ### 2. It integrates perfectly with our stack and we take full advantage of it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allan V. | Gerente Desarrollo de Software y Seguridad de la Información, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about OnePlan?**

It integrates with the tools we are currently using and gives us the possibility to make the most of the entire stack, getting the best out of it.

**What do you dislike about OnePlan?**

The way the comparison of Real vs Plan is done, we need to keep tracking with the whole team.

**What problems is OnePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease in tracking and managing the project portfolio.

  ### 3. An Insider's View on OnePlan's Impactful Features and Areas for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yasmine A. | External Relations Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2024

**What do you like best about OnePlan?**

The first and most key aspect of OnePlan that I appreciate is its ability to integrate with various tools and allow for a single source of truth for the company. Within our organization, much of our team uses Azure DevOps, however, project planning is done in Project Microsoft. OnePlan combines and integrates with both these platforms to bring everything together.
The second part of OnePlan I value is its global capacity planning. This tool allows you to see the allocation of resources across the organization and ensure everyone is being properly utilized. It also gives visibility to see where the majority of work is being done.
The third feature of OnePlan that stands out for me is its reporting abilities. The numerous templates and extensive data that can be extracted from the tool allows for highly effective reporting and analysis on all areas in the company.

**What do you dislike about OnePlan?**

I think some improvement in the ability to see a roll up of resources and financials in a more dynamic way would be effective. I.e being able to see all resources at the program level and how they are allocated across all different projects and epics under that specific program.
Additionally, I believe there needs to be improvement in the ability to see both costs and revenue from labor resources. Right now, you must choose between the two and have to use reporting to view the other.
Lastly, I think there could be some improvement in the time off component to allow when time off is booked in the My Work to then block those days on your timesheet as well.

**What problems is OnePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OnePlan has transformed how we tackle capacity planning, cross-team coordination, and project visibility. By providing a centralized view of resource availability, it ensures balanced workloads and prevents over- or under-utilization. Cross-team collaboration has significantly improved, with clear timelines, dependencies, and aligned goals reducing miscommunication and delays. Additionally, the platform gives us real-time insights into all active projects, enabling leadership to make informed decisions and prioritize effectively. It has brought structure, transparency, and efficiency to our operations, solving key pain points and driving better outcomes.

  ### 4. A Comprehensive Project Management Solution for Capgemini Real Estate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amina B. | Head of Global Project Management - Real Estate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2024

**What do you like best about OnePlan?**

OnePlan has proven to be an exceptional project management tool for Capgemini's Real Estate department, offering a powerful, tailored solution that streamlines complex real estate initiatives and boosts overall project progress visibility. Its blend of flexibility, intuitive design, and data-driven functionality makes it a perfect fit for managing the diverse and often intricate demands of our real estate projects. We permanently use OnePlan for tracking our projects. The implementation was very easy to deploy. The customer support is reactive.

**What do you dislike about OnePlan?**

Not a dislike but rather not needing hence not using some of the functionalities.

**What problems is OnePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a wide range of projects all over the world can be tricky to manage over xls and ppts. OnePlan gathers all the needed features to track our projects and we all have one go to place for tracking and reporting.

  ### 5. One source of the truth for all project & portfolio needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Gambling & Casinos | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2025

**What do you like best about OnePlan?**

OnePlan has all the functionality required to manage an enterprise portfolio, deliver projects, scenario plan, resource plan, risk plan and report and dashboard.
As a large organization, disparate tools were being used across the board from Excel to Powerpoint to MS Project to MIRO. As a portfolio office, it was not sustainable. OnePlan provides us with all the tools and funtionality I need to manage my portfolio including an integration out to our financial system and HR system.
The dashboarding feature is excellent.
Very easy to configure.
Very easy to report and provide insights.
Customer support is quick and responsive.
Very easy to implement and configure to meet our organization's needs.
Used daily every day.

**What do you dislike about OnePlan?**

Cannot think of anything at this time. It has met all of our needs.

**What problems is OnePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's provided us one source of the truth.
It enables our various sub portfolio's to be autonomous yet provide our portfolio team with an enterprise view.
Enterprise Strategy will move to OnePlan to measure strategic alignment and KPI's

  ### 6. Exceptional, User Friendly, Customizable PPM Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2024

**What do you like best about OnePlan?**

The platform's flexibility and customization options allow us to tailor the solution to meet our specific needs, and the real-time dashboards provide invaluable insights that drive informed decision-making. Additionally, the support team is always responsive and goes above and beyond to ensure we get the most out of the platform.

**What do you dislike about OnePlan?**

The only minor downside is that there can be a bit of a learning curve with some of the more advanced features. However, with the excellent support team always ready to assist, this has not been a significant issue for us.

**What problems is OnePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OnePlan has streamlined our project management processes by centralizing all our project data in one place, providing us with a single source of truth. This has greatly improved our ability to monitor project status, allocate resources more effectively, and align our projects with strategic objectives. The real-time dashboards and customizable reporting have empowered us to make informed, data-driven decisions quickly, leading to better project outcomes and higher overall efficiency.

  ### 7. OnePlan Strategic Portfolio Management Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2024

**What do you like best about OnePlan?**

Easy to learn and adopt. Intuitive, fully integrated with Microsoft with similar look & feel. Highly customizable with mutliple filtering options to slice and dice data.

**What do you dislike about OnePlan?**

Details page should have the "save" button just like it does on the "Work plan" tab for a consistent experience.

**What problems is OnePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prioritization, resource capacity management, and strategic portfolio "big view" capability. Centralize and streamline the overal Demand Management.

  ### 8. Customizable PPM tool also used for Resource Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2024

**What do you like best about OnePlan?**

Our IT Portfolio and Project Office uses the tool today primarily for Portfolio and Resource Management. We really like how customizable it is and how much the company continues to invest in the product. They continually seek feedback from their customers and we see feature requests implemented in subsequent releases. As we mature as an organization, we look forward to utilizing more of the out-of-the box project management functionality and have no doubt we'll have sufficient support from the vendor in making that happen successfully. We've customized a number of PowerBI reports utilizing data from OnePlan that have proven to be very useful in our portfolio and resource planning. We implemented the product almost 3 years ago, and continue to be happy with the choice we made.

**What do you dislike about OnePlan?**

We're exploring introducing some workflow into our processes and were happy to hear it is on the product roadmap. We'd much prefer to simply use out-of-the box functionality once it exists vs. building an integration.

**What problems is OnePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Portfolio Management, determining project priorities, helping to make sure we're working on the most important projects.

Capacity and demand management. Identifying where and when we have resource contraints.

  ### 9. UK users - Great product, Great People, Great Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2024

**What do you like best about OnePlan?**

My Portfolio module is perfect what we need. Rolled up views of Portfolio, Programme and Projects is great.
Having everything in one place is great, instead of getting updates from PMs in other products.
Implementation was easy - we took all of our MS Projects into OnePlan and the team were great at ironing out any issues we had during implementation.
Now that we have a UK team to help us, it's a big tick for us! Time-zones were sometimes difficult when trying to get things looked at quickly.
We use My Portfolio, Resource Plan and Timesheets and they were great

**What do you dislike about OnePlan?**

Some things are a little glitchy, however they're rectified via backlog, or rectified via Advantage support contract

**What problems is OnePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having everything in one place is fantastic! All of our projects are in one area, we have clear programmes and an overall portfolio that's easy to view. Rolled up views are great for Programme and Portfolio Managers

  ### 10. Strong PPM Tool that can Lack Communication

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about OnePlan?**

I enjoy the tool and its ability to integrate with so many other services. The tool allows for proper portfolio management, and the customization allows for the company or user to make it work as their business requires.

**What do you dislike about OnePlan?**

There is a strong lack of communication. When there are issues in the system they notice they do not make us aware until we ask about them. Often times we have issues/tickets that take much longer to hear back on than our service agreement allows.

**What problems is OnePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OnePlan gives us the ability to house our plans all in one tool. The tool does of course communicate with other tools and applications, but its the fact the tool allows us to see it all in one place. It allows our project managers to easily access all they need to.

  ### 11. Oneplan delivers flexible capabilities to support PPM and Strategic Portfolio Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2024

**What do you like best about OnePlan?**

Our team uses this daily to support our enterprise PMO. It has replaced a number of disparate tools, giving us one place that supports multiple use cases:
- Portfolio level modeling and what-if analysis
- Company OKRs
- Roadmap prioritization and scoring
- Portfolio and program level oversight
- Project planning either native in Oneplan, or integrated with Planner or MS project
- Team and executive level dashboards built with Power BI

In addition, Oneplan support is very responsive and easy to work with.

**What do you dislike about OnePlan?**

- Status report formats are not friendly, but can be replaced by Power BI dashboards
- Some usability features are not very robust, like the steps needed to delete an entry, scrolling through a list rather than typing ahead, mass updates, etc. In the year I've been using this tool, I am seeing improvements in all these areas but there is more to be done.

**What problems is OnePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oneplan gives us a single source of truth to capture and evaluate changing business needs and model the impact of changes to our existing roadmaps, all tied to organizational OKRs.

  ### 12. Discovering OnePlan potential in Strategic Portfolio Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anastasia T. | Portfolio Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2024

**What do you like best about OnePlan?**

The ability to have a highlevel view of the whole portfolio, sort and filter the information, so it is easy to analyze it and make decisions. This is a place, where all historical data about project is stored, which is cery convenient.

**What do you dislike about OnePlan?**

I lack setting baselines for projects, so I can compare planned vs actual

**What problems is OnePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us make data-driven decisions and improved internal collaboration a lot. Also, strategic initiatives management is a lot easier.

  ### 13. Simply Portfolio Managment

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott M. | CIO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2024

**What do you like best about OnePlan?**

Oneplan integrated very easily into our infrastucture. Currently we use Teams, PowerBI, and PowerApps, so integrating into these was super easy. Logins use AD so no additioanl logins needed. As for the application it is flexibile in how you work so both strategy and portfolio managment are adpatable to how your organization works.

**What do you dislike about OnePlan?**

ALthough not horrible. I think the UI could use a bit if updating.

**What problems is OnePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WE use several types of methodologies and Oneplan is flexible enough to configure use for all of them. Our OKR strategy is also integrated into one application.

  ### 14. PPM tool with minimum development features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie J. | Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2024

**What do you like best about OnePlan?**

Possibility to have multiple Portfolio view ( detail or gantt)
Project detail provide the right level to document project
Project Financial to manage project cost

**What do you dislike about OnePlan?**

Difficulty managing and monitoring project management
Connection between Ms project and OnePlan is not viable as sold
No visibility on the development of items submitted via ticket service

**What problems is OnePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Global solution implemented. Provide visibility on global project life cycle.

  ### 15. Robust Solution That Can Adapt To PPM Maturity Levels

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2024

**What do you like best about OnePlan?**

Integration within Microsoft ecosystem - we leverage their integration with Teams as our main project portal, PowerBI reporting, and SharePoint

Incorporation of other project management tools - we allow teams to work in whatever platform they choose (Project, Planner, JIRA...) and integrate that data to OnePlan for consolidated visibility.

Robust capabilities - while we don't take full advantage of the toolsets, it provides additional functionality as our project management function evolves, allowing us to grow in maturity without needing additional software.

**What do you dislike about OnePlan?**

- Inability to "copy and paste" project plans from Excel or other formats

- Have experienced "glitches" occasionally, enough the PMs have expressed frustrations

- Insights / Compliance logic has not worked well for us, and basic checks don't seem to be available

- We had some issues with reporting that needed to be corrected before we could utilize - i.e months not sorted in calendar order

- Some performance issues and glitches have occurred: spinning load / save processes, inability to reorder tasks, prioritization view not saving... etc.

**What problems is OnePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need a comprehensive solution to execute project management, but also manage our portfolios. Additionally, we have users that work in various systems, and the ability to let business / IT work in their systems, but integrated that data into OnePlan provides unprecedented visibility into the constraints, status, and pipeline for our organization. The visibility of initiatives in execution, resource availability, and pipeline projects gives us the ability to dynamically manage work across the organization and prioritize the effort that delivers the most value.

It has also played a critical role in tracking our business development pipeline, assessing project profitability and managing the timing of invoices.

  ### 17. Good Value for Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2024

**What do you like best about OnePlan?**

Ease of use. Very similar to Microsoft Project in terms of capability. Centrally located information. This is used on a daily basis and I feel the OnePlan is overall a good tool for teams that have a project management process already defined. We found that integration is easy into teams based on the process.

**What do you dislike about OnePlan?**

Little things, such as autosave doesn't exist. You have to click a button to save any changes, that can easily be missed since it is a web based tool and the expectation is there will be autosaved.

**What problems is OnePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OnePlan is helping us solve challenges around communication and transparency into project statuses, issues and risks.

  ### 18. Great for event planning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about OnePlan?**

Not the easiest-to-use user interface. Built with larger/enterprise companies in mind, not smaller ones. Not sure why they seem to hide that it is a MS product.

**What problems is OnePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us keep track of and plan for events
