It enables enterprise project intake, project governance, planning, resource management, project implementation, and portfolio reporting together in a single platform. It creates visibility into work across the organization and supports data informed decisions in project prioritization and resource allocation. It provides transparency to our health organization leaders, project teams and stakeholders by establishing a consistent, shared project lifecycle and project governance cycle across the disparate PMOs throughout our organization. **What do you dislike about OnePlan?** The application is limited in its support of our complex projects, programs and portfolios. We have a staff of over 25,000 individuals across our health system, and the quick growth we have experienced over the last several years through mergers and acquisitions, our projects require the management of multiphased projects with a large number of workplan tasks needed to manage the project across multiple teams and a large number of resources allocated to these tasks. The system does not seem to support this complexity of work, and unfortunately, the majority of our enterprise projects are complex. While I see value in the platform itself, the performance of the tool and aspects of the implementation have left much to be desired. Performance expectations and success criteria do not appear to have been clearly established or validated during implementation, resulting in ongoing usability and reliability challenges. My experience with OnePlan Support has been mixed. I have had some positive interactions, but many have been frustrating. Issues are often marked as resolved without a clear root cause analysis, documented corrective action, or closing summary that can be retained for future reference. This makes it difficult to build organizational knowledge, identify recurring patterns, and maintain confidence that underlying issues have been fully addressed. The integrations allow the teams to work in the tools that they use every day and allows us to pull that data all into OnePlan so that we can have a consolidated view of all of our work. **What do you dislike about OnePlan?** The integrations are very helpful but I would like to see some improvements. I would like to synch Microsoft ADO to the OnePlan schedule (rather than the backlog) and I think the reason that can't be done today is because the OnePlan scheduling engine runs on the front-end rather than in the cloud. I think migrating the scheduling engine to the cloud is in the OnePlan backlog, that enhancement would be really helpful. I also have some issues with how OnePlan tracks % Done. The % Done calculation requires start and end dates (because it is based on duration) which we don't always have with our work items coming in from ADO. It would be helpful if OnePlan supported an alternative calculation for % Done that uses a calculation of % Done = work completed (hours) / total work estimated (hours). It would also be helpful if the roadmap view could color code to show the time each project was in each process step. That way we could show on the roadmap we spent in Execution versus other phases (process steps). It would also be helpful to have some documented examples of common configurations for OnePlan that you have seen work across your different customers. How do other customers handle operations vs project work? How do other customers use Programs? Some common high level config examples would be helpful. The user interface could also use some updates. The UI doesn't refresh well when moving from a monitor to just my laptop for example. On my laptop I have to set my browser from 100% to 80% or else some menus are off screen. **What problems is OnePlan solving and how is that benefiting you?** OnePlan is helping us understand the demand coming into our organization and is helping us to see what our resources are working on. The ability to configure work plans, resource plans, finance plans and add various lists to a project. **What do you dislike about OnePlan?** Features that work then stop. I have been disappointed at how the subtotals of values in the portfolio have been broken for a long time. This makes a key feature of OnePlan unusable and has resulted in a lack of confidence in the product. We have a four level hierarchy but we can no longer expand all the projects within them. And we cant filter within the hierarchy as we used to be able to do. I also think the product lacks the key ability to upload lists of information. I previously used a product called KeyedIn that would allow you to generate a template from any configured list, populate it, and upload the results. Whether that is projects, risks, WBS, etc, this would be a feature that would greatly improve OnePlan. A recent update to allow date filters on fields was great, but without being able to make the date a centrally managed variable, the feature is almost unusable. Why create 20 date-based financial fields if you have to go in and update the date every year? Having the ability to fix the absolute or relative width of columns in a view would also be helpful.
