What do you like best about Oliver POS?

The simplicity and ease of the word press plug-in really assisted me in setting up the point of sale system linking it to the inventory on the website and it happened in a matter of minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oliver POS?

To be totally honest there were a few things that I was not happy with and when I got in contact with the team they were able to assist me and guide me. There now even taking my advice and adding new features to the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Oliver POS. A modern full featured POS for businesses with custom needs."

What do you like best about Oliver POS?

Oliver POS is great for a LEGO resale store like mine for a few reasons. We do quite a bit of trade. People bring in their used lego for store credit. The Oliver POS system has a robust trade in credit feature that most other Point of Sale systems don't have. And I'm sure about that because I searched for one for months. Not Shopify, not Square. Another great part about Oliver POS is that you can use your own PC and Monitor and Printer/Cash drawer to save money. Sure you will need a credit card terminal but that's fine and I prefer that because our customers appreciate how easy the Ingenico credit card processor terminals are. Lastly, its easy for my accountants to do the bookkeeping every month. I can log into the Oliver POS hub and generate a monthly statement of the sales including sales tax which gets submitted to the state. So yeah, I highly highly recommend Oliver POS. What do you dislike about Oliver POS?

What do you like best about Oliver POS?

OliverPOS has been a fabulous addition to our Woocommerce online store and real-life store. The ability to have online and offline sales in one place, immediate control of stock control levels, easy updating of stock quantities, excellent reporting and outstanding support all combine to have given our company HappyPlanetStudio.co.uk a superb experience. What do you like best about Oliver POS?

Austin at customer service. Always available to answer the phone(which was strange actually) and very nice to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oliver POS?

Oliver POS seems to be built mostly for the world market. They don't have an iOS product, so we had to buy their Droid based hardware, which was clunky. The money slots didn't fit US dollars, and it was huge! The software isn't ready for distribution, it is still in development. We had many problems with lag times of 3-5 seconds after hitting a key, which really frustrated my staff. There were syncing problems with our Woo inventory, among other problems. We went back and forth with Austin for over 3 months and my staff finally had enough. We have since switched to Woo POS and so far, we are much happier.

If you are considering this system, insist that Oliver gives you actual references of businesses that are using it in their store. They look promising, so maybe at some point they will have a robust product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Oliver POS?

The integration to Wordpress makes handling my business easy as its all in one place on my site. Oliver offers a simple easy to use interface and the hardware they have is not only stylish but efficient. What do you dislike about Oliver POS?

Wordpress is inherently at the mercy of plugin conflicts, as a result Oliver is not immune to that but to this point it would seem that there has not been an issue Oliver has failed to immediately address and keep me running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Oliver POS:

Consider the amount of time you would need to spend updating proper product data to separate web and retail systems . Easy of use and user training is simple. Plus it wont break the bank. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Oliver POS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Oliver allows you to keep records and product data stored in one place. Update your site and that's it. And anyone who has ever had to do product data entry knows that the fewer number of times you have to repeat the work the more time you can spend on the quality of that data.
