Provides a detailed analysis of what items are migrated and how much data is transferred. You can import PST files into mailboxes rather than running a full discovery of the on-premises environment. If you use an Enterprise State Roaming tool, you can also monitor which data is being accessed by users outside the corporate network. You have options for scheduling bulk migrations so that they run during low activity hours to prevent any disruptions. **What do you dislike about Office 365 Migration Planner?** Users must have an Office 365 license to be migrated. However, you can include users without licenses by migrating their inactive mailbox. You can migrate only mailboxes, contacts or calendars. You cannot migrate other exchange objects such as groups, distribution lists, public folders and journal rules. The tool is not free; you must have an Office 365 Enterprise E3 license to use it in your tenant. Without the game plan, there would be a huge delay in migrations. **What problems is Office 365 Migration Planner solving and how is that benefiting you?** Develop success criteria and a communication / training plan was the highest key. Communication with users has benefited me because I can establish a timeline to meet the company needs.
