In 2025 I am working with a new MSP and was given MigrationWiz to help migrate the data. The software does not work as designed, when I get stuck on an error that prevents me from moving forward we have to email support. They can take from 2 days to a week to respond. There is no way to reach a live person. The only potentially positive point: the idea of centralizing migration through a web interface, but it still needs to work. Conclusion: MigrationWiz wasted my time, money, and left me with a generally bad impression. The goal is to avoid tedious manual manipulations like PST exports by automating the transfer of mailboxes, contacts, calendars, etc. On paper, this should save a lot of time and reduce the risk of human errors. That's why I purchased the licenses. In practice, I did not benefit from the tool at all: the configuration did not work, the errors were unclear, and the migration never started. Since we started using MigrationWiz, mailbox migrations are more reliable and take us much less time. MigrationWiz allows us to perform migrations with much less stress and enables us to focus on other aspects of our projects. MigrationWiz is a tool I have used many times and is my go-to mail and OneDrive migration tool, due to it giving clear and concise errors during the migration, and the support being readily available to give advice. The tool itself is well documented from implementation through to how to do migrations and does give clear knowledge of any limitations that may have come up due to MS Changes (which are proactively investigated and worked on by their dev team) allowing you to prepare. **What do you dislike about MigrationWiz?** There is not much I don't like about MigrationWiz, as the main issues are due to changes Microsoft make or Microsoft throttling. The dev team do a great job of updating their features to keep up with these changes, however, MigrationWiz' DeploymentPro only currently reconfigures the Outlook profile, leaving Teams, OneDrive and M365 Licenses to be done by custom solutions. **What problems is MigrationWiz solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a consultant and migration engineer, MigrationWiz is helping us as a business provide our customers with the challenges that are faced through acquisitions. Create the client, define the source and destination, assign the licenses. Then you can enter the mailboxes to migrate and proceed with a simulation if the credentials are accepted. The next morning, what a comfort to have a precise report of what worked and the few elements that failed (often just spam or emails over quota). Calendars, tasks, contacts, everything migrates wonderfully between two Exchange mailboxes. Whenever there is a technical issue, their support is top notch to resolve them. They know their stuff, at no particular time did I raise a ticket and have to go back and say the suggested solution/troubleshooting technique did not work..It was a ask once and get a resolution once kind of seamless support. I loved how their team takes their time to internalize the issue at hand and give conclusive responses. Also, when I had incorrect users added in the migration setup environment, the tool is so easy to operate in that I just edited the address to whatever I wanted and migration got complated. Also, when the switchover was done, I was able to interchange the source and destinatiion accounts in order to fetch anything else left behind. The fact that it does not duplicate content makes this the most powerful tool I have ever used to perform a migration. Migrating content from archive on one tenant to another archive in another tenant is such a cool feature. I would highly recommend BitTitan to anyone looking to migrate from one M365 tenant to another tenant. I've tried several tools, and MigrationWiz became one of my favourites. The basic functionalities of the tool are easy to learn so you don't get overwhelmed when you first start using it, but at the same time it offers some more advanced options that can be mastered when you put some time in it. Mails are usually answered within 24 hours so in case of questions or issues you will receive support and your project won't be delayed too long. We are using currently using MigrationWiz for our mail- and Onedrive migration projects and so far we have completed all of these projects successfully. **What do you dislike about MigrationWiz?** The slowness. Some migrations are extremely slow and can take hours or days for a 100MB mailbox. Not only does the software work flawless when properly configured, the level of thorough help articles along with the walk through videos that show examples of setting up projects really makes migrations easy. As we all know Microsoft changes things all the time, but the videos had been updated recently and they reflected exactly what was seen during the migration. Looking back through the videos they appear to do this every few months which keeps them accurate. Pricing was very fair for the heavy lifting that this product did and we were able to complete the migration within our scheduled downtime. I will be sure to look up BitTitan the next time I need to perform a migration! **What do you dislike about MigrationWiz?** The only negative I experience I had was the slower responce from support than I had hoped. They operate on a 24-hour SLA which is fine for planning or setting up projects however if you have a tight window for the migration, if you run into an critical issue you may have to reschedule the migraiton. I did submit a support ticket about 12 hours prior to the end of my scheduled downtime on a Sunday and it took approx 8 hours to get back to me. By then I had already performed a work around to be able to complete the migration within the downtime Not a deal killer by any means but you just have to go into your downtime understanding this. For those starting out, the site has a collection of very comprehensive guides that allow you to easily carry out your first migrations from A to Z. I find the interface intuitive, which facilitates the quick configuration of migration projects. I also like the real-time tracking with detailed reports for each mailbox we migrate to easily resolve any errors we may encounter. The error resolution suggestions we encounter are often sufficient to avoid scouring the web in search of user experiences. **What do you dislike about MigrationWiz?** The process of validating credentials "Verify credentials" can sometimes be very slow, so anticipate it before the big day. This issue was quickly addressed by the support team, who managed to resolve the migration anomaly. The support was present and responsive during the two migrations I had to carry out. Doing a migration manually using the default tools does not allow you to know how many items you need to / have already migrated from one platform to another. The ability to prestage a migration so that you can meet your time window in conjunction with all of the other things you have to migrate is also a life saveer when you are facing a limited timeline to perform your task. Using MigWiz is so much more cost effective than **What do you dislike about MigrationWiz?** My only dislike about MigrationWiz would be its inability to migrate 100% of calendar attributes. Also, the inherant inability that any automation creates vs doing a job manually can create lack of visibility.
