I found the file migration aspect of MigrationWiz especially troublesome. While email migration was smooth, file migration, particularly for OneDrive and SharePoint, was a nightmare. The tool doesn't update or sync files based on modifications, so I had to delete files manually and redo migrations from scratch for ten users after supposed updates failed. Also, the documentation was inadequate. While instructions for email migration were good, there was no useful documentation on Microsoft OneDrive permissions, with links leading to broken websites. Marketing it as a file migration tool is misleading if it can't handle basic tasks like updating modified files. I still cannot believe I learned after go-live that a delta (full migration) pass does not do what it normally should. It will only add new files, but if I change was made on any file, it skips. What stands out regarding this platform is, how easily it simplifies what is usually a complex migration process. This platform provides a centralised cloud-based platform for migrating mailboxes, documents and other OneDrive SharePoint files along with the teams and other workloads without even requiring any on-premises infrastructure. Their UI interface is very straightforward and projects are easy to organize and their ability to run pre-stage migrations before the final cutover helps us to minimise the downtime for our end users. I also like that this platform scales well when migrating a small business of thousands of users across multiple tenants, it supports concurrent migrations and detailed project tracking. Although this platform waters down most of their migration process but their initial setup can be bit technical, specifically for more complex tenant-to-tenant migrations or even environments with customised permissions. Having a dedicated onboarding support to help or guide this process would be a major add-on with this platform. Understanding their triplicities and following migration guidelines carefully is very important to avoid any configuration issues. And their support quality should also be increased as per the complexity of the migration, and troubleshooting uncommon scenarios sometimes requires more extensive documentation and expertise in this. When it doesnt work, or something goes wrong - the Billing team ignore you for months when you ask for a refund. Its disgusting, I didnt use the product for this project, so why do they ignore me when I ask for the money back - I've contacted them probably 5 times, its now been 3 months and I still can't get a response Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used BitTitan MigrationWiz years ago and I remember it did work to migrate our customer. In 2025 I am working with a new MSP and was given MigrationWiz to help migrate the data. The software does not work as designed, when I get stuck on an error that prevents me from moving forward we have to email support. They can take from 2 days to a week to respond. There is no way to reach a live person. How can we give our customers a time and date for project completion if errors prevent us from completing and support doesnt respond. I recently used BitTitan MigrationWiz to migrate an on-premises Exchange environment to Exchange Online, and overall, I had a good experience. The setup was straightforward, and the tool provided clear, step-by-step guidance, making it easy to configure the migration.

The migration process was efficient, with fast transfer speeds and reliable data integrity. The pre-migration assessments were particularly helpful, allowing us to identify and address potential issues before they became problems. This proactive approach ensured a smooth transition with minimal disruption to our users.

BitTitan MigrationWiz performed admirably and made the migration to Exchange Online a relatively stress-free experience. While the tool handled most of the complexities well, there were some issues that required manual intervention. Now that Microsoft disallows impersonation in EO, the setup for the destination has become more complex, but the documentation that Bittitan provides is very detailed and helpful in setting this up. Honestly, it's hard to find anything to appreciate when the tool has never worked as intended. Perhaps the intention was to offer a simple cloud migration solution... but in practice, I saw neither simplicity nor efficiency.

The documentation is difficult to find and poorly organized: more time is spent searching for the right information than configuring the tool. Even the videos do not cover certain concrete cases.

The tool is unstable: despite following the procedure to the letter, it is impossible to synchronize two Microsoft 365 mailboxes.

Vague and incomprehensible error messages, simply referring to support without any useful explanation.

Ineffective support: no concrete solution was offered, just a refusal of a refund.

Rigid commercial policy: licenses are non-refundable, even if they are unused due to technical problems.

In comparison, another competing tool allowed me to perform exactly the same migration in 15 minutes, without difficulty.

- Compatibility with most services: Most protocols and services are supported by MigrationWiz (PST, IMAP, Exchange, M365, Gsuite ...).

- Reliability of migrations: In all the migrations we have performed, there has never been any loss of emails.

- Very comprehensive documentation: For most migration scenarios, there is a documentation page explaining the migration process step by step.

- Responsiveness of support: The few times we encountered an issue, the support was always very responsive and addressed our problems.
