The system we're using requires dev mode to be activated to send custom HTML emails, and requires a good deal of playing around with to get things to display correctly before sending. Odoo was unable to solve the problem of efficiently marketing to our contacts, so we have since switched out email marketing efforts to Mailchimp's suite of tools. If I have to say anything I dislike I can say that I have some kind of trouble with the iPhone mail app, but that is because of the lack of this email client.
