Octolens is the best tool for tracking my company’s mentions as well as competitors and feeds it to me via MCP.

I can ask Claude or ChatGPT anything about us or more importantly for me competitors in pain English. Before I just used Google Alerts and it was a mess because I would get a ton of notifications with no value or ability to analyze. So I looked for a social listening tool that would have AI filters and also support MCP.

I have a regular task set up to review the past 24 hours of mentions and pick out what's important for me to engage with.

If there's one area for improvement, it would be the addition of general news monitoring features similar to Google Alerts.
