The most useful function to me is the lookalike function because it allows me to make my prospecting take much less time with the ability to have a list of hundreds of prospects that can be filtered to my specific markets. Along with the fact that it has a deeper pool of contacts than competitors like zoominfo that I didn't even realize it had initially.

The inability to add in additional credits within a month (eg. if we have a few concurrent campaigns happening at once our usage can max out our credits very quickly, so being able to 'dropship' in additional credits if this happens, within the month, would be useful to be able to do. I like that Ocean.io covers traditional B2B, where other enrichment tools have poor coverage. In one group set, Ocean.io had 100% coverage while Apollo had the wrong information 60% of the time. I appreciate that Ocean.io is extremely easy to use with straightforward menus, tool tips, and walkthroughs. The simplicity of the platform, despite the complexity it handles in the backend, is impressive and makes it accessible for anyone in sales, marketing, RevOps, or as a GTM engineer. The accurate data allows me to create better forecasting models and report confidently to the C-suite. The integrations are really fair, and the MCP is best in class. I love the data accuracy and how it's improving my daily work. Integrating with tools like HubSpot and LinkedIn makes our outreach hyper-targeted and efficient. The AI and MCP features are a game changer for powering our internal LLMs, offering us a more accurate layer of information for leads and prospects. It's like a data engine for up-to-date information on potential prospects, and it takes less than half an hour to set up, with excellent walkthroughs provided. I would like to see more direct integrations with certain platforms, specifically for ads. Also, having more integrations with some of the smaller CRM tools would be helpful. This doesn't affect me much since we use the big two, Salesforce and HubSpot, but it could be beneficial. Additionally, I would like to see more bidirectional syncing of data with Salesforce or other CRM and ad platforms to track how data travels through the entire process. I really like the ease of use of Ocean.io. Compared to companies like Clay or ZoomInfo, its intuitive nature just stands out. It allows me to easily access what I need, which saves a lot of time that would otherwise be spent learning and building knowledge on a complex system. I also love the fact that it integrates seamlessly with my CRM, providing a comprehensive view and helping me improve our workflow. Additionally, the outcomes have been impressive. I've seen better fit candidates as customers or prospects, which helps reach out and nurture them effectively. This has led to an increase in win rates and closed deals. The look-alike finder feature is especially beneficial; it allows me to segment people based on audiences that resemble those I’ve already closed deals with, and it fits perfectly with how our outreach campaigns are set up.
