"Notion Turns Scattered Knowledge into a Searchable, AI-Powered Team Hub"
5/5
What do you like best about Notion?

What I like best is how it turns scattered company knowledge into something the whole team can actually use. Before Notion, our information lived across our old knowledge base and Teams conversations, finding anything meant pinging the one person who remembered where it was. Notion's Knowledge Management tools give us a single, organized home for everything, so information actually gets used instead of archived.

The AI Agents and AI Writing Assistant have also been a real productivity unlock — drafting, summarizing, and surfacing relevant context without manual digging. And Enterprise Search does exactly what it promises: what used to be a multi-tab hunt is now a single query. Together, these have cut down real hours of "where is that thing" time across our team. What do you dislike about Notion?

Honestly, there's not much to dislike, my main friction point is that Notion is such a robust system that it takes real effort to figure out how to use it to its full potential. There are a ton of great tutorial videos on YouTube, but no clear sequence to follow, so I end up googling a question and cycling through videos hoping one covers what I need. A simple, guided step-by-step onboarding path (versus a scattered library of individual videos) would make it much easier to unlock everything the platform offers. "A great tool for staying organized."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Notion?

I like that I can keep everything in one place. I use Notion for notes, documentation, and tracking tasks, so I don't have to switch between different apps. It's easy to organize information, and finding something later is quick. It fits well into the way I work every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

Sometimes pages can be a bit slow to load, especially when they contain a lot of content. It also takes some time to learn all the features, so new users may find it a little overwhelming at first. Other than that, I haven't had any major issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Notion: Clean, Intuitive Workspace That Streamlines Our Team’s Workflow"
5/5
What do you like best about Notion?

Notion has become an essential part of our daily workflow. The UI/UX is clean and intuitive, making it easy to organize notes, docs, and projects in one flexible workspace. The drag-and-drop blocks and nested pages let us build custom dashboards that fit our team's needs perfectly. Integrations with tools like Slack and Google Drive save us a ton of time switching between apps. Performance has been reliable even as our workspace has grown large with many databases and linked pages. The pricing is very reasonable for the value provided, especially compared to piecing together several separate tools. Onboarding new team members has been smooth thanks to templates and shared guides. The recently added AI features have also been a pleasant surprise, helping us summarize notes and draft content faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

Honestly there is very little to complain about. If I had to nitpick, the mobile app can feel a touch slower than the desktop version when opening very large databases, and the sheer number of customization options can take a little time for brand new users to fully explore. Neither of these has been a real problem for our team, just minor observations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Notion: A Clean, Flexible All‑in‑One Workspace"
5/5
What do you like best about Notion?

What I like best about Notion is the combination of flexibility and a clean writing experience: you can turn it into notes, docs, databases, wikis, or lightweight project systems without switching tools. That “digital Swiss Army knife” quality is the feature people most often highlight, along with databases, customization, and the ability to connect information in one workspace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

What I dislike most about Notion is that it can feel too flexible: great at first, but sometimes slow, fiddly, and harder to maintain than simpler tools.

Notion is powerful, but the tradeoff is that it can feel like you’re managing the tool as much as your actual work. For people who want speed, offline reliability, and stricter structure, that can be a dealbreaker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Notion as a Connected Workspace: Flexible, Reliable, and Seamless for Teams"
4/5
What do you like best about Notion?

What I like most about Notion is that it functions as a connected workspace, not just a note-taking or project management tool. We can link documents, databases, meeting notes, SOPs, tasks, and project pages together, which makes information easier to organize and retrieve when we need it. The flexibility to customize pages, views, and templates also lets each team work in a way that fits their needs and workflows.

Notion AI is useful for summarizing meeting notes, drafting content, and improving documentation, which saves time on repetitive tasks. The interface is clean, performance is reliable, and collaboration feels seamless, making it much easier for teams to manage knowledge and stay aligned without constantly switching between multiple applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

The flexibility is a major advantage, but organizing large workspaces and setting up more advanced databases can take some time. New users may also need a bit of time to get familiar with all the features and how everything works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Notion Centralized Our Intranet and SOPs in One Flexible Workspace"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Notion?

The all-in-one workspace setup works well for our home care agency. We use Notion as our company intranet and knowledge base - SOPs, office hubs, compliance calendars, and a decision log all live in one place. Databases make it easy to track ownership and last-reviewed dates on SOPs, and the page structure is flexible enough to mix docs, light project tracking, and a front-door home page without bolting on extra tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

Keeping content current is still manual work. For an ops and compliance-heavy team, Notion does not really bootstrap or maintain a living knowledge base on its own. Thin SOP shells pile up if nobody owns them, and search is only as good as what people actually wrote and tagged. AI helps draft, but we still need a human approve step before anything compliance-related goes live. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AI Notetaking and Shared Notion Folders That Keep Our Team Aligned"
4/5
What do you like best about Notion?

I like the AI notetaking aspect, it is very helpful when I am in a meeting and want to focus on talking and not taking notes. I can use it 1 on 1 or google meet which is useful. I also like how we can make shared nation folders so that we can track KPI and SOP as a whole team so that we can set goals and perform better. The integration with claude is also nice so everything I put into Notion can be accessed other places. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

I think that the desktop app is too slow. It takes a long time to load simple pages which can make me not want to use the app and just do it myself. It is also confusing to navigate because a lot of the time I will click on something because it looks like it will take me to another page in notion but it just makes me edit the text. The useability should be better Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Hub That Keeps Claude Chat and Claude Code in Sync"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Notion?

Notion is the single source of truth for my entire newsletter production system. I run a three-times-weekly newsletter (Retire & RISE) with a fairly complex production pipeline that spans two different environments: Claude for orchestration and planning, and Claude Code for production and publishing. Notion is the one place both sides read from and write to, so nothing gets out of sync.

What I like best is how well it handles structured, relational data without feeling rigid. My Newsletter Archive database tracks every issue's status, topic, pillar, and monetization level. My Ad Library rotates sponsor and story content on a "oldest last used" basis. My Social Media Queue holds posts through their whole lifecycle from draft to scheduled. A Reader Feedback Log tracks polls and replies from "planned" all the way through to "reflected" in a future issue, sometimes weeks later. Being able to build these as proper databases, with select fields, relations, and views, rather than a pile of documents, is what makes automation and AI-assisted workflows possible on top of it.

The other thing I value is that Notion pages can serve as living reference documents. My full production instructions and my 20-person "Advisory Board" of expert personas live as Notion pages, and both of my AI environments pull from those pages directly. That means I only ever have to update guidance in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

The biggest friction is that Notion sits in the middle of a lot of automation, but it doesn't trigger anything on its own. Every connection out to another tool — Beehiiv, Buffer, Make — has to be built and initiated from the other side. For example, after I schedule an issue in Beehiiv, there's no way for that action to write back into Notion automatically; I have to update the Notion record by hand, because Notion has no direct write-trigger into Make and Beehiiv has no native webhook into Notion without a costly plan upgrade. It works, but it means Notion is a passive source of truth rather than an active one.

The other recurring annoyance is with MCP connector sessions: if I authorize a new Notion (or other) connector mid-conversation, it doesn't load into that same chat session. I have to start a fresh session for the tools to actually become available. It's a small thing, but it's tripped me up more than once when I expected a newly connected database to be usable right away.

Beyond that, most of what feels like "Notion limitations" are really just the tradeoffs of using it as a universal hub. It holds structured data beautifully, but anything that needs to reach outside itself needs a human or a separate automation layer in between. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Tool That Finally Made Me Look Organized"
5/5
What do you like best about Notion?

I run two completely separate team spaces in Notion, one for a marketing/outreach role at an ABA therapy provider and one for a school ministry, and it's been a lifesaver for keeping those worlds organized without them ever bleeding into each other. For project management, I've built out full content trackers organized around actual content pillars, task boards, and timelines for event planning, so I can manage every stage of a launch without losing track of what's done. It also doubles as our knowledge management hub since I keep brand guidelines, a running Meet the Team spotlight series, research trackers for monitoring community conversations, and reference docs all linked together instead of scattered across drives. I built a registration database that connects to Google Forms through Zapier so new signups land right in Notion automatically. The AI note-taking and writing tools save me a ton of time turning meeting notes into actual content or summarizing long threads, and I've started teaching myself formulas in the databases, which has been a fun rabbit hole since I'm not a spreadsheet person by trade. Being able to build systems like this myself, without needing a developer, is huge. It's also just as easy to hand someone a link and let them watch progress happen live instead of sending updates back and forth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

Honestly my biggest hesitation is the cost if I want to bring more people into my team space. Right now it's mostly just me building things out, but if I ever need to add teammates as full members, the per-seat pricing adds up fast for a smaller org, so I've had to be careful about who actually needs edit access versus who can just view a shared link. I'm also still learning a lot of the more advanced features like formulas, so there's been a bit of a learning curve getting databases to do exactly what I want. Nothing that's stopped me from using it, just things I'm working through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Flexible Workspace That Adapts to Any Workflow"
4/5
What do you like best about Notion?

What I like best about Notion is its flexibility. It combines notes, documentation, task management, and databases into a single workspace, making it easy to organize both personal and professional information. I also appreciate how customizable it is -whether I’m creating project documentation, tracking tasks, or building knowledge bases, I can structure everything exactly the way I need without switching between multiple tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

While Notion is incredibly flexible, that flexibility can also make it overwhelming at first. Setting up an efficient workspace often takes time, and larger pages or databases can sometimes feel slower to load. I would also like to see stronger offline capabilities and more advanced automation features built directly into the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
