## Notion Reviews
 ### 1. Flexible and User-Friendly, Yet Needs Performance Tweaks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinay D. | Quality Assurance Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like Notion's flexibility and clean, organized interface which allows me to keep notes, documentation, task lists, checklists, and project information in one place. The ability to customize pages and collaborate with the team is particularly useful for day-to-day work. I also appreciate that the flexibility makes it easy to organize information based on different project needs, while the clean interface helps me find and update information quickly. I like that I can combine documentation, notes, task lists, and checklists on the same workspace, reducing the need to switch between multiple tools and making collaboration easier. The initial setup was quite easy, with creating workspaces, pages, databases, and templates being straightforward, and the interface was easy to understand. It was a smooth setup experience even though it took some time to organize everything according to our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find some pages take a little time to load when working with large and complex workspaces. The wide range of customization options can feel overwhelming for new users. I also think the search and navigation could be improved for large knowledge bases, with more accurate filtering, better ranking of results, and easier navigation between related pages. Clearer folder or hierarchy views and better ways to quickly find recently updated or frequently used information would make the experience smoother.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize project documentation, notes, and tasks in one place. Its flexibility and interface ease collaboration and reduce tool-switching. However, it can be slow with large workspaces, and search/navigation in big knowledge bases could improve.

 ### 2. All My Projects in One Place—Notion’s AI Makes It Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like being able to organize all my projects in one place with Notion. The AI features have been helpful in figuring out how to use the features, as well as guiding me through different processes I am not familiar with. I like that Notion offers different AIs to find the best answers to questions.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The website uses A LOT of my CPUs working memory. So it slows down my computer and often takes a long time to think and work. The app seems to work a lot better. The UI is not immediately intuitive, but it's easily learnable within a few hours.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion is helping me to consolidate the projects I am working on -- I have at least three major projects that I normally would have strewn across several programs, notebooks, and paper napkins. Notion has been helpful to bringing those together in one place. Second, Notion is able to connect to other programs and see what work I have done and then make workflows and lists, which is enormously helpful.

 ### 3. The All-in-One Master Planner I’ve Always Wanted

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack S. | Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that you can use it as a CRM, calendar, task manager, project planner, and integrate agentic AI tools from Claude and Notion all in one. It is the master planner for any project that I've always wanted, and I stand by that.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The formatting of text could be easier with hot keys. I also which that the formatting was a bit dynamic where one piece of a block could be formatted differently instead of formatting the entire thing. We also need more MCP accesses!

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CRM management, calendar scheduling, project tracking / planning / creation, daily tasks...it all integrates with claude code as well. It helps me do absolutely everything except for instant chat. The transcribing feature is top notch, too.

 ### 4. Centralized Knowledge Base for Cyber Security Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** tanuja p. | Dark Web Analyst L2 , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I appreciate how Notion helps me keep a large amount of research and operational information organized in one place, especially while working in cyber security and threat intelligence. It reduces the need to switch between multiple tools and makes it quicker and easier to find previous research. This consistency in documentation and collaboration with the team is valuable. I like using Notion alongside other tools like Socrata and Kibana, where it acts as a central knowledge base. Notion provides a more flexible and centralized way to organize our research and project notes and documentation. It's an efficient tool for maintaining a shared documentation workspace across the team.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Setting up database and templates properly can take some time larger pages can sometimes feel less responsive. overall these are minor issues compared with its flebility and usefulness

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to keep my research organized, reducing the need for multiple tools. It helps me find previous research easily, maintain consistent documentation, and collaborate effectively with my team.

 ### 5. Ideal Workspace for Comprehensive Resource Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roman G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love that Notion is an all-in-one workspace for notes, docs, and databases. It really helps me with hackathon timelines, freelancing goals, and long-term tracking for my judiciary prep, reducing my mental load and acting like a second brain. I appreciate how it allows me to build a comprehensive database for my hackathon prep, including columns for everything from hackathon names and dates to team status and outcomes. For my judiciary prep, its ability to create a detailed roadmap broken into phases is a masterpiece, letting me always know what phase I'm in without hunting. I find a single master database effective for organizing tasks, as it keeps everything in one place without scattering data, which makes long-term tracking actually work. The fact that Notion combines everything from Trello, Google Docs, and Evernote into one connected workspace is a huge plus. I find the ability to view the same data through different lenses like board view, timeline view, or calendar view without needing to rebuild anything, invaluable. Setting up Notion was quite easy, with free templates that I could use immediately and seamless syncing between desktop and mobile.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find Notion gets notably slow with large databases, especially when there are hundreds of rows with many properties and pages with lots of nested content. Typing can become laggy, which is a common complaint. The offline mode is also unreliable, as changes made offline sometimes don't sync properly when you reconnect. Additionally, the mobile app can be more challenging compared to desktop, particularly when editing tables and databases on the phone, where cursor placement can be finicky.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion as a second brain, helping me manage hackathon timelines, freelancing goals, and track my judiciary prep. It reduces my mental load and consolidates everything into a single connected workspace.

 ### 6. Notion: One App to Rule Them All, But Not Without Its Quirks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinay Y. | Market Research Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What i like most about Notion is how flexible and organized it feels compared to other productivity tools. I can manage notes, tasks, documentation, and project tracking all in one place without constantly switching between apps.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Notion is a powerful tool, but it comes with some real frustrations. The most noticeable one is speed it loads slowly, especially on mobile, which is annoying when you just want to jot something down quickly.
It also tries to do everything at once notes, databases, wikis, project management which makes simple tasks feel unnecessarily complicated. The learning curve is real too, with terms like "rollups" and "database views" feeling overwhelming for new users.
The offline experience is weak, so if you lose internet, Notion becomes almost useless. The mobile app is also a letdown editing complex pages on your phone feels clunky and limited.
Surprisingly, there's no real reminder system. You can write all your tasks, but nothing will actually notify you, and syncing with Google Calendar isn't straightforward either.
And finally, because Notion is so flexible, your workspace can slowly turn into a disorganized mess and many people end up spending more time organizing Notion than actually getting work done.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

were jumping between a notes app, a task manager, a document editor, and a team wiki all separately. Notion brings all of that into one place, which saves time and reduces the mental clutter of switching between apps constantly.
It also solves the problem of information getting lost. Emails, random sticky notes, scattered Google Docs things get buried. Notion gives you a structured space where everything lives together and is actually searchable and organized.
For teams, it solves the communication gap. Instead of endless back-and-forth emails about project updates, everyone can just look at a shared Notion page and stay on the same page literally.
The flexibility it offers is a big benefit too. You can shape Notion to work however your brain works, whether that's a simple list, a kanban board, or a full database. Most tools force you into their system Notion lets you build your own.
Personally, the biggest benefit is having one home for everything your ideas, your goals, your projects, your notes all in a single workspace you can access from anywhere. It reduces the anxiety of feeling disorganized and gives you a clearer picture of what you're working on and what's coming next.
In short, Notion is solving the chaos of modern work and life by replacing a dozen different tools with one flexible, connected workspace.

 ### 7. Customizable and Intuitive, With Room to Grow on AI and Theming

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The customization is what keeps me coming back. Being able to shape a page into exactly what I need, instead of working inside someone else's template, means I've been able to build out little systems that work almost like mini apps for different parts of my workflow. That flexibility alone has sped up how quickly I can set something new up when a project needs it.

It's also just more intuitive than I expected going in. I came from Asana, which handles basic task tracking fine but gets rigid fast once your needs grow past that. Notion has a gentler learning curve even though it can do a lot more, so I didn't have to fight the tool to get it to work the way I think.

Having docs, databases, and tracking all live in one place has cut down on a lot of the manual copying and tab switching I used to deal with, which adds up to real time saved over a normal week.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

My biggest gripe is how limited the customization is when it comes to look and feel. You can build incredibly complex structures but you're stuck with the same handful of colors and themes, which feels backwards for a tool that's supposed to be flexible. I also wish pinning worked better with scrolling, on longer pages I lose my spot constantly and end up scrolling back up to find a section I was just looking at.

Performance is another thing. It's fine for smaller stuff, but once a workspace gets big, lots of linked databases, nested views, that kind of thing, pages start to lag and it's noticeable. Not a dealbreaker, just annoying when I'm trying to move fast.

The AI features are also just okay. Good for a quick summary or cleaning something up, but it doesn't feel like it actually knows my workspace, more bolted on than built in.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before I started using Notion, my work was scattered across a bunch of different tools and it was hard to keep track of what mattered. I struggled with having no single source of truth, so I'd waste time hunting down the right doc or tracker instead of actually working. Now everything lives in one place, and the page customization lets me build out little systems that work like mini apps instead of forcing me into someone else's template. That's sped up how quickly I can set up new workflows.

Compared to Asana, which I used before, Notion has a gentler learning curve even though it can do a lot more. Asana felt rigid once you got past the basics, while Notion flexes to whatever structure I actually need. Having docs, databases, and tracking all in one place instead of bouncing between tools has cut down on a lot of the busywork too.

 ### 8. Notion’s Intuitive Interface Keeps Me Organised

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krishiv J. | Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The utility and interface it provides are the main things I love about Notion. There always feels like there are endless things to learn from it, and it really helps me stay organised.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Okay, so one disadvantage I’ve found with Notion is that it doesn’t really explain things upfront. You kind of have to figure a lot out on your own, and that can take months. But obviously, once you learn it, there’s really nothing stopping you.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a student, I really like how this app keeps all my schoolwork and academics organized and well managed in one place. It makes it much easier to stay on top of everything without having to juggle multiple tools or switch between different apps.

 ### 9. User-Friendly, Interconnected Markdown Knowledge Base Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike I. | Fractional CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

It offers great support for Markdown files. All files and pages are interconnected, which makes it a strong tool for building a knowledge base.

The UI is user-friendly, and overall it’s quite easy to use. I can’t say much about the pricing since I used a corporate plan, but I do know they offer a free version for individuals.

So overall one of the best tool on the market.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Sometimes I had difficulties with the way information is presented when a page is connected to a table, or when you open a section and there’s a table with different items inside it. I know I’m missing something and that there’s a reason behind it, but I’ve been using it for several years and still haven’t figured it out.

I also had some complications when trying to find the right page. When you have a lot of pages and a very complex structure, it’s really hard to locate certain things.

Besides that, I exported a lot of files in .md format, and since we had different departments, I had to do it in several bundles. As a result, I ended up with many duplicates: when the same page is connected to different departments, it gets copied as many times as it’s referenced.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It definitely solves the problem of building a knowledge base around departments and internal processes in any company. Personally, I’d prefer to use a tool like this locally, but when you need to collaborate with other people—editing different pages, sharing information, and working with documents—I think it’s one of the best tools for the job.

 ### 10. Incredibly Flexible All-in-One Workspace That Fits Any Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Coralia R. | Operations Supervisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like best about Notion is how flexible it is. I can manage projects, create documentation, track tasks, and organize my personal life all in one place. It replaces multiple apps while still allowing me to customize everything to fit my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The learning curve can be a bit steep for new users because of how customizable everything is. Once you understand it, it's incredibly powerful, but getting started can feel overwhelming.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion solves the problem of having information scattered across multiple tools. Instead of switching between notes, documents, spreadsheets, and task managers, I can keep everything in one centralized workspace. This saves time, improves organization, and makes it much easier to collaborate and stay productive.

 ### 11. User-Friendly with Top-Tier Assistance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leon's L. | Information Technology Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for my business startup and daily activities. It saves me time by reducing the need to jump between different applications. I find it very user-friendly, and the Notion AI is top tier for assistance. It makes things easy to use without needing a lot of prior knowledge, as Notion AI helps turn my decisions into reality. I also appreciate that Notion has a lot of plugins and templates ready to use.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find it a little hard to use on mobile, and I think they should make the UI/UX cleaner and more responsive.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion streamlines my workflow, saving time by reducing the need for multiple apps. It's user-friendly, and Notion AI helps me easily make decisions a reality.

 ### 12. Flexible and Efficient with Outstanding AI Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah K. | Senior Crew Scheduler, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for work in project management and like how flexible it is. I also appreciate the AI chat options, as they help solve most of my problems. Notion helps optimize my time, allowing me to meet with my teams more frequently instead of creating tasks manually. The speed and accuracy the tool provides are extremely valuable to me.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I wish there was a way to add definitions. I have to make a lot of corrections to the terms since I am in the aviation world. I would like a space to add acronyms and what they mean and have the AI note taker look there for definitions.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for note taking and organizing, which fills gaps in conversations I miss. It's flexible with AI chat options and creates checklists, optimizing my time and allowing more team meetings. Its speed and accuracy are valuable.

 ### 13. Powerful Research Aid with Some AI Limitations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for my research work, and it solves complex topics into flowcharts and easier breakdowns, simplifying navigation through everything complex. I like that Notion uses AI tools to help me with deep research on the web, verifying information I might not be aware of. I also like the portable and convenient use of Notion. The AI tools strengthen my research by making my sources stronger. I rely on Notion's pages feature for managing topics within topics, like layers of an onion, which is quite useful in organizing my research. I also appreciate using Notion with the Mermaid.js framework to create beautiful flowcharts.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think the moderation in the AI tools could be done better. Some features are really limited, and when I try to analyze scripts, the AI doesn't allow it, saying it's not allowed. This is frustrating because as a responsible user, I think there should be a way to access some advanced features with AI assistance. Also, the initial setup was confusing due to the complex UI, but it became easier after a few days.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion simplifies my research work by breaking down complex topics into flowcharts and helps me with deep research using AI tools.

 ### 14. Powerful Yet Approachable—Notion AI and Databases Make Work Faster

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love that it is complex but can also be used as a basic tool. You add more as you go. It is not overwhelming when you start to use it and as you discover more and more features you get more comfortable and become more of an expert at it. I like notion ai, although it is not perfect, but the convenience of having it so available and not having to go to another tool is great. I love the database features you've been adding over time, especially the ai tool which generates the formulas, which used to take a lot of my time before. Now I just explain what I want, double check and it's done in a few minutes. I like the fact that we can add guests to our account, this has made it easy for us to create client portals that we share with our clients where they track their progress.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It's tough for us that the connection with GHL is limited, we have to use a lot of workflows and zaps to get the info we need into notion. I wish it would have a connection with Woocommerce. on the ai side - the agents are very expensive and it has descouraged us to use them, we turned them all off. Even the basic ones we were using were not working properly. The graphic capabilities are really limited, it would be great to be able to generate images and presentations or graphics directly with notion ai, without having to use a separate tool. the things it generates now are sub-par and cannot be used really. The desktop version is very glitchy. Several team members have reported uninstalling it after annoying fails. It would be great if the calendar and email would be integrated properly with the rest of the software. Meaning that you could use an email address of a client you have in a database and click on it to send an email with the conneted account. OR add an event to the calendar from inside notion pages.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to create client portals for our coaching and consulting clients, where they could track their progress. Notion allows us to do that, inviting them as guests on those portals, without making it complicated for them (they don't need a notion account themselves) and without having to pay for an additional user. This is a great tool we created for pour clients and we have improved it over time with graphics and charts, as well as operational templates that we can add directly to those portals. Another problem we were struggling with was getting clients to use internal team survey tools that we can review with them. Notion allowed us to create our own survey that can be replciated for each client, without them having to use another software, or pay for any other tool. The information is readily available to us so we can review together, and they can have their staff fill in the survey directly from the survey page without building anything else.

 ### 15. Notion AI Made Getting Organized Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Levi F. | Account Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love how easily I can get organized with Notion, especially with how much Notion AI can do, too. I never realized it had the ability to integrate and automate workflows, and I honestly wish I’d known that years ago. That kind of setup is basically my love language, and I’m completely obsessed with it now.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I’m used to Apple Notes. I know it’s terrible, but I’ve been using it for years. If there were a clean, straightforward way to migrate my notes from Apple Notes to Notion, I’d do it in a heartbeat.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my professional life, it makes it really easy to find resources and just as easy to handle follow-up emails, especially with the Notetaker feature.

For my small business, it’s been very clean and straightforward to add to my knowledge base, keep it updated, and automate that into my AI agents.

For my personal life, I can see it being an incredibly simple way to share information with my family—I’m just waiting on that migration update.

 ### 16. Great for writing and organization, but still expensive I have to say

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tofiq H. | Digital Artist, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I mainly use Notion AI to improve my writing. It helps me fix grammar, rewrite unclear sentences, and make short drafts more polished. I also like having my notes, documents, and AI tools in one place because it saves time.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The AI features are useful, but the additional cost still feels expensive for an individual user. I would prefer a more affordable personal plan or a limited amount of AI usage included with regular plans. The AI could also be more consistent when working with longer pages.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Daily uses. Taking notes, and tasks, using the calendar for scheduling, making tables for request organizes. Having so many options is sometimes really useful. Application is also doing good.

 ### 17. Great Flexibility, Endless Possibilities, and Room for Growth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patricia T. | Banking, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love how easily Notion synchronizes with other apps and services, as well as its high degree of data customization. This makes it effortless to adapt and tailor the platform for work projects, personal organization, or business ventures.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I would love to see a free tier for Notion AI, even if it’s limited to a set number of monthly credits or simple responses. Using AI actually helped me explore and understand database features for the first time, which ultimately allowed me to learn how to set them up manually. Additionally, I would appreciate much broader customization options for individual pages to make them feel even more unique and personalized.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization, database, share my organizations with others.

 ### 18. A all-in-one workspace that has become part of my daily routine

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aneesha N. | Customer Success Manager and Product Implementation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion is incredibly flexible and easy to adapt to different needs. I use it for note-taking, project tracking, documentation, and personal planning, all in one place. The database feature is particularly useful, and I like that I can organize information exactly the way I want without needing multiple tools.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

There can be a slight learning curve when getting started because of the number of customization options available. Large pages or databases can occasionally feel a bit slow, but it has not significantly impacted my experience.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me keep all my work, notes, and projects organized in a single workspace. Instead of switching between different applications, I can manage everything in one place, which saves time and improves productivity. It has become an essential part of my daily workflow.

 ### 19. Minimalist UI and Flexible Databases That Transformed Our Media Workflow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin L. | Station Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Its minimalist UI/UX and flexible databases have completely transformed our media workflow. The drag-and-drop interface, along with integrations like Slack and Google Drive, makes it easy for us to manage broadcast schedules, show notes, and editorial calendars all in one highly visual space.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Onboarding non-technical contributors or guest hosts into shared workspaces requires some guidance to avoid cluttering our databases. Additionally, direct customer support for quick troubleshooting during live production errors can be limited.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to struggle with scattered show notes, outdated broadcast schedules, and unorganized media assets. Now we can centralize our entire editorial production and team planning in one hub, and it’s saved us over 8 hours per week in team coordination.

 ### 20. Flexible Digital Workspace with Some Performance Trade-offs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rudra _. | Exploring new ai tools, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion as my primary digital workspace to organize both my daily tasks and long-term projects. It solves the problem of 'tool fatigue' and fragmented workflows by replacing multiple apps with a single, highly customizable workspace. I love Notion for its extreme flexibility and modular design. It's great for designing tasks, and I've even created a project with it. Notion's all-in-one space means my team no longer has to jump between different tools like a word processor, a board tool, and a wiki. I also appreciate the flexible layouts, allowing me to view data as a list, a board, a calendar, or a table.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find Notion struggles with offline performance, slow loading speeds on large pages, and a lack of native built-in time-tracking or strict permission controls for sub-pages.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize my tasks and projects. It solves tool fatigue by replacing multiple apps with one customizable workspace, eliminating fragmented workflows. My team also benefits from not switching between tools, viewing data in flexible layouts like lists, boards, or calendars.

 ### 21. Notion’s Flexible All-in-One Workspace That Becomes a Reliable Team Source of Truth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vijay S. | Manager - Technical Support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like best about Notion is its flexibility, it adapts to how you want to work instead of forcing you into a rigid structure. You can build everything from simple notes to fully customised workflows using databases, linked views, and templates.

I especially value how it brings multiple use cases into one platform. Instead of juggling separate tools for documentation, project management, and knowledge bases, Notion lets us manage everything in a single place. The database feature is a standout, as it allows us to organize and visualize the same data in different ways (like boards, tables, or calendars), which makes it very practical for day-to-day operations.

Once properly set up, it becomes a reliable single source of truth for the entire team, improving visibility and reducing back-and-forth communication.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

One of the main downsides of Notion is the learning curve. While the flexibility is a huge advantage, it can feel overwhelming at the start, especially for users who aren’t familiar with databases or building structured workflows from scratch.

Performance can also be an issue at times. Larger pages or complex databases with lots of relations and filters tend to slow down, which can impact day-to-day efficiency.

Another limitation is that some advanced features, like permissions, automation, or integrations, aren’t as robust as dedicated tools. So for very complex use cases, you might still need to rely on additional platforms.

Overall, it’s a powerful tool, but it requires time to set up properly and occasional workarounds for more advanced needs.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion solves the problem of scattered information and tool fragmentation. Previously, we were using separate tools for documentation, project tracking, and internal processes, which made it difficult to maintain a single source of truth and often led to miscommunication or duplicated work.

With Notion, we’ve centralised everything, our knowledge base, SOPs, project trackers, and internal notes, into one platform. This has significantly improved visibility across the team and made it much easier to find information quickly.

It also helps standardise workflows. By using databases and templates, we’ve been able to create consistent processes for things like project tracking and internal reporting, which reduces manual effort and errors.

Overall, the biggest benefit has been improved efficiency and alignment. The team spends less time switching between tools or searching for information, and more time actually getting work done.

 ### 22. Why I chose Notion as my go-to tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anirban D. | Copywriter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The flexibility. Notion lets me build a workspace around my needs, whether it’s for writing, planning, organising ideas, or managing projects.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The biggest drawback is that Notion sometimes feels overwhelming because of how many features and customisation options it offers. It can take time to set up an efficient system, and the experience feels slower when working with larger databases or more complex pages.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion solves the problem of having information scattered across multiple tools. It gives me one place to organise notes, ideas, tasks, projects, and documentation, which makes it easier to stay organised and work more efficiently. It saves time by reducing the need to switch between different platforms and helps me keep everything connected in one workspace.

 ### 23. Flexible, Non-Technical Workspace for Notes, Tasks, and Project Planning

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Quentin B. | BDR, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like most about Notion is how flexible it is without ever feeling overly technical. I use it for notes, task lists, project planning, and keeping all my documents in one place. The databases and templates are especially helpful because they let me set things up in a way that genuinely fits how I work, rather than forcing everything into a rigid, fixed structure.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

the biggest downside for me is that it can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming because there are so many ways to organize things. I also notice that larger pages can be slower to load than expected. Once everything is set up it works well, but there is definitely a learning curve at the beginning.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Notion, my notes, tasks and project information were spread across different apps and documents. Now everything is in one place, which makes it much easier to stay organized and find information quickly. It has reduced the time I spend searching for documents or meeting notes and helped me keep better track of ongoing projects and deadlines.

 ### 24. Notion is my Digital Lego

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Honestly, Notion took a while to click for me because an empty workspace is terrifying. But once I realized it’s basically digital Lego, I was hooked.

I use it for almost everything now, especially for creating reusable templates so I never have to start repetitive tasks from scratch. The biggest gamechanger lately has been the AI meeting recorder. Not having to split my attention between typing notes and talking saved me a lot of stress. It’s definitely not a plug-and-play app but taking time to build a space around how you actually think is totally worth it.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Nothing at the moment. It does take a learning curve to actually work on creating your workspace. But once you get the hang of it, it is an amazing tool.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is my personal knowledge management system. I pay for the Plus + AI subscription available, and it is one of the best investments I have. Yes, for India, it may not be the most affordable pricing, but for me it is one of th best investments. Performs like magic, never had any problems with support. Plenty of material available online to get what you want.

 ### 25. Game-Changing Databases and AI at an Affordable Price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The database function is a game changer - easily saves article and support various of media for user to interact with. Plus it supposrts AI to work directly on the database so users can perform everything on the Notion platform. Plus the price is good and affordable. Integrations with other platform is good but more options are better. Performance-wise, if it can speed up the app then it would be perfect

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Speed. It is super slow to work on the app. It is sometimes too slow to an extent that it is even difficult to type.
The AI meeting note is difficult for user to input instructions especially the meetings usually have lots of context. If examples / tutorial are shown that would be helpful.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Combination of database to store my articles / information that are embedded with AI function to speed up the data entry / organizing notes effort. It is game changer and help me to upgrade the quality of my note much quicker

 ### 26. Notion’s Custom Workspaces and Databases Keep My Projects Organized

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krishnakant R. | Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I love most about Notion is how it lets me build custom workspaces for different projects. As an engineering student at BTIRT in Sagar, I use it to organize everything from my daily class notes to complex hackathon builds. The database blocks are a huge lifesaver—I use them to keep an inventory of all my hardware components, like different sensors, motors, and ESP32 boards, while managing the team's task list using the Kanban board view. It feels way more flexible than standard note-taking apps because I can embed C++ code snippets right next to my project documentation and wiring diagrams.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The biggest drawback is the lack of a true offline mode. If I am working in one of the labs at BTIRT where the Wi-Fi can sometimes be spotty, or if I am traveling for a tech competition, it can be really frustrating when pages take forever to load or I cannot access my project notes at all. Also, because it is so heavily customizable, the initial learning curve is a bit steep. I definitely spent way too much time tweaking page aesthetics and templates instead of actually studying when I first started using it.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It completely solves the problem of scattered information. Before Notion, managing my coursework at BTIRT alongside extracurricular robotics projects was chaotic. I had code saved in one app, hardware diagrams in a local folder, and team to-do lists in random group chats. Now, for tech competitions and college projects, my entire team operates out of a single centralized workspace. It keeps everyone on the same page, makes it easy to track who is working on which part of the prototype, and honestly just reduces the stress of balancing college life.

 ### 27. Flexible Workspace That Adapts to Everything I Track

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Preetam R. | Frontend Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The flexibility, honestly. I can set it up however I want I use the same workspace to track bugs at work, plan my app releases, and jot down random ideas. No other tool lets me do all that without fighting the interface.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It can get slow when a page has a lot of content like if I have a big database with many entries, there's a noticeable lag. And the offline mode still isn't great. I've been on flights or in areas with bad internet and couldn't access my own notes, which is frustrating when you need something quickly

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Notion, my stuff was scattered everywhere docs in Google Drive, tasks in Trello, notes in random apps. Notion puts everything in one place. So when I'm working on a feature, the spec, the task board, the API docs, and my meeting notes are all right there. I'm not jumping between five tabs trying to find something I wrote last week.

 ### 28. Flexible Organization with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin D. | Business Value Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that Notion is easy to use and very flexible to set up. I can quickly organize the information I need and view it in different ways, such as an account view, a project view, or my tasks view, which makes me much more productive and reduces the time spent looking for information. Setting up different views and using information already in my databases, along with an AI agent to summarize information, adds to its convenience.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The hardest thing about Notion is the sheer amount of information and the need to click through to find what you need, which takes time and practice. It can feel like too much at first, but it gets easier once you've worked with it and used the AI agents to organize things.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to quickly summarize my work on projects or accounts, making it easy to organize, present, or email. It helps me stay productive by providing flexible views for accounts, projects, and tasks, reducing the time I spend searching for information.

 ### 29. Replaced four different tools I was using, not all at once but gradually

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anurag S. | Senior Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The database views are what made me stick with it. I run a blog calendar for content work, and being able to switch between a flat list, views by status, by writer, or by content type—all from the same set of data—is something I didn’t realise I needed until I had it. Before this, I was tracking blog posts in a spreadsheet, and it just didn’t offer that kind of flexibility.

The teamspace setup also works well for keeping things separated. Client work stays in its own space, personal stuff remains private, and shared docs are actually shared. That separation feels cleaner than I expected from a tool that tries to do everything.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It can be slow to load at times, especially on older hardware or when you have a lot of nested pages. Opening a database with a decent number of entries takes a beat longer than it should. It’s not a deal breaker, but it’s noticeable when you’re trying to jump between things quickly.

Offline access still isn’t great either. If my connection drops, I’m basically locked out of anything meaningful. For a tool I rely on daily, that’s a legitimate frustration.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content planning was generally messy for me before this. Knowing what was being written, what stage it was at, who was reviewing it, and when it was supposed to go out used to live across images, spreadsheets, and memory. Having a blog calendar database where I can see everything by status or by writer, or flip to a calendar view and see what’s publishing when, is the main thing it solved for me. Everything else is secondary to that one use case working well.

 ### 30. Quick Setup and TONS of Room To Grow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel M. | Of Counsel, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I was able to set up a case management system and task tracker quickly and with minimal effort. The AI agent was also incredibly helpful, setting up linked databases for me. CRM and Task Management companies really are in trouble if AI can set something up like this so quickly. The UI/UX is quite intuitive, and I believe I can integrate other software I already use.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I understand the pricing model, but I feel like there should be pricing for admin users--ones who set up and use Notion heavily--and end-users, who are casual or use it less often. Jumping to $20/month is not a ton compared to other SaaS companies, but it doesn't exactly make us want to sign up yet. Also, I wish I had a little more notice of how many free AI prompts I would get... They ran out pretty quickly!

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I could see it replacing the case management SaaS we pay for. For me personally, I can see all of my cases and tasks quikcly.

 ### 31. Notion Centralized Our Projects and Boosted Team Productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I’m able to give each team member a tailored view of their tasks, and that’s made a noticeable difference in our productivity. Notion has been a strong solution for tracking projects because all of our notes live in one place, and the whole team can easily check the current status at any time. I also like that it connects directly to our email, meetings, and Google Drive, which helps keep everything centralized.

The pricing works well for us, especially since guests can be granted free access to each database. The AI system has also been extremely helpful while I’ve been setting up project trackers and calendar views. The personal agent capability is useful too, although it does seem to burn through the monthly credits pretty quickly. Overall, unless my dev team builds an internal database with similar functionality, I haven’t found another system that fits my team’s needs as well.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I wish the views on a page could be nested under one another, so I could keep my main tasks at the top and place less-frequent subtasks underneath within the same view, but still shown separately. I’d also love the ability to use a different page record view depending on the database, even if one is simply a linked view of another. Right now, I have two linked views of my main database for three different departments, and it would be really helpful if each department could have its own page layout based on their needs.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion has helped our team track projects in a way that Google Sheets and Excel couldn’t. We’re able to keep all our data in one place, with more information readily available to every team member. Each person can now get a clear, specific overview of their own project tasks without being bombarded by everyone else’s tasks.

 ### 32. Endlessly Customizable and Flexible—Notion Fits Any Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonny D. | Bookkeeper, Doula, Herbalist, Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love Notion mainly because it’s completely customizable—the possibilities feel endless. It can be simple and straightforward when I want it to be, or more complex and intuitive when I need that.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Honestly, I can’t think of anything specific right now. If I had to suggest one thing, it would be making the overall design a bit more aesthetically pleasing. That said, it does offer customization options with icons, banners, and similar elements, which helps.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m very Type A and constantly have a million tabs open, so I start to feel overwhelmed if I don’t have a list and I’m always worried about dropping the ball. I created a task-management board in Notion with automations, and it’s absolutely magical. I feel so comforted knowing that Notion holds all my tabs so I don’t have to. When I complete a task, it automatically updates the columns the way I need, and it’s literally my favorite thing.

 ### 33. Flexible, All-in-One Notion Workspace for Storing, Indexing, and Customizing Everything

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh H. | Comptroller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love the fact that it can take all of my information in any format, then store and index it all. Being able to tie everything together and build systems directly within Notion allows me to customize it to exactly what I want.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I really want to like the Notion AI Agents, and used them a lot during the beta period. However, when I found out I was required to purchase tokens monthly -- THEN I LOSE THEM IF NOT USED -- that told me it's not worth using.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion is helping solve the problem of sharing information, reports, meeting, and action plans across multiple teammembers as well as keeping me organized with all data that I have.

 ### 34. Notion’s AI Transcription Saves Me Time Every Day

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diogenes L. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I have a dev background and was always used to work with part code part text. In Notion I can have the best of all world and also with the AI transcription feature, I was using that all time during my day by day work. IT saved a lot of time sending the resume after the calls.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I like the way they keep delivering new things from time to time. However, it feels like every time I open Notion, there’s something that needs updating, and that kind of bothers me.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the way I can add everything from my real life and my work same place with an easy way to find everything and navigate between it.

 ### 35. Game-Changing Nested Toggle Lists and Flexible Pages

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like quite a few things! Nested toggle lists are probably at the very top, as they really changed the game when it comes to making electronic documents shorter. Checkboxes were also awesome and ahead of Google drive, as were nicely formatted URLs as "Mentions". I also like being able to use emojis to visually categorize pages and sections, etc. Databases good once you set them up (working with them is another story).

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Notion seems to lack an easy autocorrect or spellcheck! I'm constantly manually changing spelling. I'm not sure why that's not easier. Also, the databases can actually be a pain, as mentioned. Notion isn't a spreadsheet, so some sheet-like qualities you might expect are naturally built in. Also, I think databases max out at like 50 rows before you have to click expand every time you view, which is pretty inconvenient. Additionally, it's pretty easy for the sheet to get too wide to be useful, since the Notion nav bar and indents can take up a lot of real estate left to right. Also, I don't pay for their AI service, and i hate how it constantly pops up on some key stroke i don't realize. I don't want it!

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love that Notion keeps great track of my notes as pages and provides great taxonomy built in!

 ### 36. Highly Flexible, Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laurie T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like the flexibility that Notion offers through databases to track different things. It's highly adaptable for various uses like project management, planning, writing, data collection, and team working. The ability to customize databases however I want and link them together is fantastic. For instance, I've used a project database and a people database to link projects and export them into a usable portfolio. The automation feature through Notion AI helps me handle a significant portion of my work efficiently. Despite the initial complexity in setup, I've found it pretty fluid. Notion AI makes setting up new databases for personal projects even easier.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find that getting other team members on board can be a bit hard, as the learning curve for Notion can be pretty steep. Even though I try to build workspaces to be as easy to use as possible, people often get confused about how to use properties, different views of the same database, etc. For myself, I would like the location type property and other newer ones to be able to be copied in button automations and other such operations, to lower the amount of copy/pasting I have to do when I create a new project from a proposal we've submitted and won.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me link interconnecting data points for projects, maintaining accuracy and automating work through Notion AI. It offers flexibility with databases for project management, planning, and more, adapting to various uses.

 ### 37. Best Free Productivity and Note-taking App

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Writing and Editing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

: It has so many valuable and essential features for free (such as workshops, note-taking, exporting, schedules, and tables). Notion Ai has been pretty practical and intuitive for me whenever I need to brainstorm ideas on what/how to write something or to improve my notes/documents. As a student, I often use it to organize everything school-related to the schedule and take notes during lectures. I love how it even comes with a student template that allows me to track my schedule and grades. I like that I can export my notes into various files, and vice versa for importing files into notion.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I have noticed there's more updates being rolled in a weekly basis. Please reduce it since it tends to lag the device. Try to bundle up the updates.
Also, please make calendar work with Samsung calendar! Allow the font sizes and styles to be changed. Allow a handwritten option such as those using tablets with S pen.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion AI has been beneficial for me in terms of improving my writing, brainstorming ideas for things to write or how to write them, explaining things when needed, etc. I've been able to keep track of all my course assignments because of its schedule. I love the grade calculator provided in their student template - since it allows me to monitor all my grades. I love how I can share the pages and workshops with others. I've been mainly using it for note-taking, scheduling, grade tracking, and using Notion AI for writing improvement.

 ### 38. Organized and Flexible, But Needs Speed Boost

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akın . | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion mainly because it helps me keep everything organized in one place. I love the flexibility it offers; I can customize pages for different projects, notes, and workflows without making things complicated. I really appreciate having everything connected and easy to search in one place. Notion saves me a lot of time because I can adapt it to whatever I'm working on instead of changing tools all the time. I can link related notes, tasks, and project pages together, so everything has context and is easy to find later. The initial setup was pretty easy, and I was able to start creating pages and organizing my notes without much difficulty.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Sometimes Notion can feel a bit slow, especially with larger pages or databases. I also think some features have a learning curve and could be more intuitive. Improving performance, offline access, and making certain workflows simpler would make the overall experience even better. I'd like to see better offline support, faster performance on larger workspaces, and more customization options without needing complex setups. It would also be helpful if some advanced features were easier to discover and use, especially for people who don't want to spend much time building a system from scratch.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to keep everything organized in one place, making it easier to find things, track progress, and stay focused. Its flexibility allows me to customize pages and connect related notes, tasks, and projects, saving me time and preventing information from getting lost.

 ### 39. Versatile Workspace, Slight Co-Editing Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joao p. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I mainly use Notion for creating a detailed prep system for banks and dedicated subpages for role overviews, personal pitches, and databases. Notion helps me consolidate all of these use cases in one place, avoiding the scatter across Google Notes, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and random folders. It acts like an all-in-one brain powered for productivity, organizing my mess into a meaningful workflow mentor. I appreciate how it aids me in interviews, with features like an interview agent to create tailored resumes and keeping track of flowcharts, roadmaps, and uploads. Its availability across my phone, laptop, desktop, and iPad with proper sync is incredibly helpful. I often jot down ideas or concepts on the go and later use Notion's AI to build meaningful outputs. Additionally, I find it wonderful to link with other tools like Claude.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Sometimes Notion is choppy and it annoys me to death, especially when working in co-working spaces or with others in my workspace, it tends to lag. Also, when multiple people are editing in a single workspace or there's a network issue, the work doesn't get saved.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion organizes my scattered work into a unified workspace, streamlining bank prep, role overviews, and more. It's my productivity hub, creating resumes, flowcharts, and roadmaps. I love its accessibility and ideas sync, helping me craft meaningful outputs wherever I am.

 ### 40. Visual Organization and Quick Access with Notion

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rodrigo Alonso P. | Independent Recruitment Consultant , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like how Notion allows me to organize and quickly access my information. The ability to easily visualize where things are and what state they are in is crucial for me. I enjoy the freedom I have to organize my information through workflows, which allows me to modify and add features easily without affecting my existing information. Additionally, the AI assistant in Notion has been a great help, and I value the way I can sort my information efficiently. Unlike my previous experience with Excel, which was visually tiring, Notion offers a much more comfortable and appealing experience.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

In some areas, I think Notion has become more complex, and I haven't been able to adapt to these new tools. It's not so much that they are particularly complicated, but rather that I haven't had the opportunity to explore them as I would have liked. I wish Notion could tell me what new things are available and how they can be useful to me. At first, the setup was a bit complicated and it took me time to learn it. I needed YouTube videos to understand how to use it properly.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion solves organization and accessibility problems. It allows me to have everything in one place, visualize and know the status of my tasks, and organize freely, which facilitates my workflow and helps me find information easily.

 ### 41. Flexible and Versatile, But a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like Notion's dashboard because it helps me give my clients something they can see and keeps them updated. I appreciate everything about Notion, especially its flexibility to be transferred to multiple different things. I find it good because I can use it for multiple different areas in multiple ways. The flexibility really helps me pivot when needed, which is valuable since I own two different businesses. I also find integrating Notion with my cloud to be helpful, as it allows me to build things and integrate them very well.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The UI is a little hard to understand whenever you first get into it, and the building of it is kind of cranky. If you don't really dive into it, then it just becomes essentially board. The initial setup was pretty difficult. To be able to figure out the odds and ends of it, it's pretty difficult. A lot of people that I know don't really like the tech side of things, so it's a little harder to get into.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me keep my clients updated with dashboards and lets me pivot easily as I manage two businesses. Its flexibility allows versatile use in different areas, helping me integrate well with my cloud.

 ### 42. Good enough that I stopped looking for alternatives

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evelyn T. | Admin Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The fact that it can be a doc, a database, a task list, or all three at once depending on what you need. I've stopped using three other tools because Notion just handles it. Takes some getting used to, but once it clicks it's hard to go back.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It gets slow when pages have a lot of content or nested databases. Not unusable, but there's a noticeable lag sometimes, especially on mobile. For a tool I'm in every day, that adds up.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was using different apps for notes, tasks, and project tracking and nothing was connected. Switching between them constantly was more friction than it sounds. Having it all in one place means I spend less time managing where things live and more time actually doing the work.

 ### 43. Organized Documentation, Great Home Base for Internal Info Sharing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Morgan B. | Director of clinical impact, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The more I use Notion, the more I discover some really cool ways to create pages that present information clearly. There’s definitely a long learning curve, and I’m sure there’s even more I could do—I just haven’t figured it all out yet.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It takes a while, and a lot of fumbling, to figure out how to use Notion in a truly organized way. We use Notion as our database for all internal documents, but not everyone uses it efficiently. As a result, documents become out of date quickly, and duplicative pages with similar information end up scattered throughout the platform.

I wish Notion had an AI that could flag when you’re creating a document that already exists elsewhere with the same (or very similar) content. I also wish this AI could flag when a document hasn’t been updated in 30 days. It would be helpful to get suggestions on where to house a new document as well—for example, guidance on which parent page it should live under or be linked from. Reminders or alerts to update material you’ve created would also be super helpful.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I appreciate the flexibility of how to organize information, and also love the ability to link databases + integrate with other platforms. The integration feature is really handy when it comes to log maintenance.

 ### 44. Intuitive Planning with Some AI Limitations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** arif a. | Co-Founder (Founding PM & GTM), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like using Notion for planning because I can break my day into multiple parts with different phases and tags, which helps me understand my day better and plan ahead. It really aids in avoiding procrastination, especially since I have executive issues; I can look at smaller tasks and see that they're doable. I like that it's bite-sized work, and I feel it's really manageable. Additionally, I like the AI aspect of Notion, although the recent cap on AI chats wasn't appreciated. I also found the initial setup of Notion to be intuitive and faced no challenges.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I recently noticed a cap on AI chats, which I don't appreciate much. I used to really enjoy having unlimited chats for longer discussions, and the limitation now affects how I use Notion. I understand the cost considerations, but I was really loving it when they offered unlimited chats. It would be great if it could remain free or something similar.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for thinking, planning, and execution. It helps me plan my day by breaking it into parts, phases, and tags, which helps avoid procrastination and manage tasks effectively.

 ### 45. Honestly transformed me into a more organized person

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really like the addition of AI and that I can just ask within the UI itself. As always, everything is within reach in a singular space so it makes note taking and organization super efficient.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I still feel similarly from my previous response, but it has gotten better since then. Although I think the templates have also gotten better with newer features.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion providing AI together with my favorite note taking space has truly saved me so much time. Especially when I'm in a crunch and have not figured it out by the time I wanted, I talk to the AI assistant to guide me to the correct solution. I do think that AI is not very accurate. I have asked it many questions and it's answered with tools/libraries that do not exist. I know there is a disclaimer about it not being very accurate, however, I would like to know that what I'm paying for is worth it. I have not really spent too much time asking it as much as I did before because of this, but I definitely think the note taking is amazing and it has made me become a better organized engineer! Everything is in one place.

 ### 46. Notion AI Streamlines Unstructured Data into Fast, Time-Saving Databases

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy A. | CEO and Founder, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The ability to use unstructured data The same way that we use structured data. I am able to create databases and then have Notion do some online searching to update the database, or I can use my voice to update the databases using other tools that work with Notion AI. This improves my performance, saves me time, gets things done more quickly. So it's a major return on investment given that Notion is a value for money service.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The inability to know what you're really paying for. Right now, I get a bill each month. I'd like to see more granular detail and the ability to track costs by project. Flat-rate pricing is nice, but some of Notion's recent announcements suggest that pricing is changing. Support has not really been doing a great job in communicating this, and to find that information on the Notion website is a journey, not a destination.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've produced a bunch of websites that are data driven. Before Notion, the whole idea of creating data driven websites was foreign to me. This created an easy on ramp because Notion's user experience is replicatable across everything you do. I was able to integrate it with website HTML, use tools like Notion, and speak to my database using Telegram. So integrations, artificial intelligence, and user experience were all combined into one for me.

 ### 47. Intuitive UI, Efficient Performance, and Helpful Support—Great Value

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** George's A. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like the user interface of Notion as it is easy and intuitive to use. I also like how the Notion AI features allow you to integrate apps, such as looking at your Google Drive to read it and create Notion pages from it. The Notion customer support was also very helpful for setting up Notion for my business. The Notion app and website run efficiently, and in my opinion, I am getting my money's worth.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I wish that the Notion AI would stop making Notion Pages so often because sometimes I just want a direct answer instead of it making a Notion page

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion is helping me keeping me organized by making me these custom pages

 ### 48. Intuitive Organizer with AI and Automations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ana Maria A. | Release Manager (DexCare Health), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really like databases in Notion, as they allow me to classify and tag things, which is useful for organizing my finances and visualizing charts. I also find the automations great, along with the templates that offer a lot of flexibility. Artificial intelligence is another feature I appreciate, with different models that help me perform various tasks, such as preparing my week and creating weekly updates. Although image generation could improve, it has been very helpful to me. Additionally, I find Notion very intuitive and easy to use, which is a great advantage for me.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It seems to me that image creation doesn't work that well. There are times when artificial intelligence stalls or doesn't work very well when very large prompts are used, for example, when creating the update for my work week, and often it doesn't take relevant information from where I'm indicating it should. That especially.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me organize my daily life and store information that I can't retain all the time. Its quick search makes it easy to find old work or personal data.

 ### 49. Notion Keeps My Study Notes Organized with Tables, Checklists, and a Clean Design

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vansh N. | Undergraduate Student, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

As a B.Sc. student at Dr. Hari Singh Gour University I have to manage my files, notes and many other things for which I use notion and one very good thing about notion is that every subject or topic Separate folders can be created for each to keep everything organized. Because it has great options like tables, checklists and calendar to do's which makes it easy to track study schedules or daily routines like exercise habits or daily plans. And its minimalist, clean design looks great. Its clean design significantly improves my daily productivity.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The mobile app is a bit slower to load than the desktop app. It takes some time to get used to it initially, as it appears to be a completely blank page and its offline mode doesn't work that well, it requires internet to run.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Earlier, I had to use multiple notebooks and apps to track my college subjects and personal tasks. But now my lectures, assignment deadlines and daily schedule are all easily managed in one single place. I no longer have to do all the things I used to do earlier. This saves a lot of my time and allows me to focus without any confusion on other apps and notebooks.

 ### 50. Versatile and Customizable, Ideal for Organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria P. | Producer, Media Production, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that Notion is very versatile and customizable. Each page can be different and I can share it with other people, limiting access to what I want, and it has endless options. It helps me organize aspects of my professional and personal life by projects or topics. Additionally, the internal AI is very useful for creating pages or visualizations without having to do it manually. I also appreciate how clean everything looks and how intuitive it is to use. The Audio Note feature is VERY useful.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Sometimes I think that when I have many pages or elements created in Notion, I can end up getting lost in the interface. The search function has specific moments when it is not so intuitive, although generally it is.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize and store projects, take notes, and consult with AI without excessive context. It helps me in organization by unifying everything in one place, being versatile and customizable. It also facilitates the creation of pages and visualizations through AI.
