**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like best about Notion is how it lets me combine all my university work in one place instead of switching between different apps. I can write lecture notes, organize assignments, and also include coding snippets with proper formatting, which is really helpful since my courses involve both programming and written content. It also makes it easy to structure everything by course and topic, so my notes don’t feel scattered and are easier to revise later. Overall, it helps me stay organized and keeps both my technical and written work connected in a simple, customizable way.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

What I dislike about Notion is that it can feel a bit overwhelming and slow to set up properly at the beginning. Because it’s so customizable, you sometimes spend more time building the system than actually taking notes. It can also get messy if you don’t stay consistent with your structure, especially when you’re managing multiple courses and projects at once.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion solves the problem of having information spread across too many different tools by bringing notes, planning, and organization into one place. For me as a university student working with both coding and writing, this is especially helpful because I can keep lecture notes, code snippets, and assignment tracking all together instead of switching between apps like Word, Google Docs, and separate to-do lists.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

It is extremely customizable and powerful to use. It holds our entire intranet and the tools, once understood, are pretty intuitive to use. It was very simple to do! It was very simple to do!

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Almost all of the ways to customize things are different from traditional ways of doing things. Spreadsheets/databases have different and complex formulas that aren't always translatable from Excel or Google sheets.Also, the ways to relate databases together or to make automations is clunky and only smoother if you pay a lot.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing us to have an internal, bespoke system of truth and records that is very nice. We also use it for all our internal project planning and 1:1s. It makes policies and information easy and efficient to get to people.

What I like most about Notion is how it combines note-taking, project management, documentation, and collaboration into a single workspace. The UI/UX is clean and intuitive, making it easy to organize information without feeling overwhelmed. **What do you like best about Notion?**

The app’s UI is really nice, and what helps me the most is the databases feature. Databases let me build my own automations and workflows, which helps me streamline my life much more than on a typical day. The option to integrate various platforms, like Google Drive, is also helpful, and the app’s overall performance has been solid.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I find the overall features which are actually good, but it makes me a little overwhelmed when I start as a beginner . When I open the app, I feel busted with so many features that I get overwhelmed and just close the app, thinking that I can't deal with this.

Daily scheduling and databases, which allow me to make simple workflows, are the best features for me.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really like how Notion works seamlessly across all my platforms, whether it's my phone, tablet, or computer. It lets me take measurements or handle tasks on my phone and then go back to my computer to put the real math to them. This cross-platform functionality is really valuable to me.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

One issue I have with Notion is that the AI doesn't always listen well. For example, when I use the same prompt repeatedly, it might do the right task twice, but then the third time, using the exact same prompt, it does something different.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for building, bidding, and organizing schedules. It helps me create databases and take measurements on my phone, then I can put real math to them on my computer.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love that I’m able to tie my databases into OpenAI’s utilities so I can pull information directly into our team functions. That makes those functions much easier to use day to day. I also really like the AI Transcription function. It helps me review items I may have missed in my own notes and notations.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I don’t really like how the notes are organized, though it may be user error on my part. I’m used to organizing things in OneNote, so the way notes are set up here feels a bit unwieldy to me.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s been really helpful for pulling and organizing information from my data. OneNote feels more like a shared folder, while Notion feels like a smarter system that actually works for me.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

It’s a place to put everything you didn’t know where to put. It honestly feels like my brain on paper. It really helped our business get organized and move out of a cluttered Google Drive. Notion is amazing for visual people—you can see everything at a glance, it’s easy to click through, and the sky is limitless when it comes to options. It can integrate with any platform, which makes it even easier to use. Pricing feels fair, too!

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It sometimes makes my computer slow. It isnt compatible with my older model desktop unfortunately.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved the problem of having to ask "where does this live?". Now everything has a place and its easily accesible. This has increased productivity and speeds up time onboarding new hires.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love how you can connect Notion to other apps. Currently I keep track of the books I read on Notion. I now have it setup so that every Monday, Claude runs through my list of books that have been added and automatically adds a brief summary. I find myself looking back at the books I've read and can't always recall the plot. Now, I know the updates will automatically load.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I've been using Notion for quite a while, but it definitely has a steep learning curve for new users. Secondly, when using the Notion app, it often lags, so then I end up going back to my desktop.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion has become my online Life Planner. I can track my academic course load, upload syllabi, and enter assignment due dates. I have databases for recipes, books I've read and would like to read, and my monthly bills. There is not much I haven't been able to add to my setup.

I like how simple it is to use, and how I can use it to track my to-do’s while also keeping a record of SOPs and notes. It’s also helpful for saving templates and other items I tend to reuse often.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think the learning curve can be hard at first, and the team adoption rate may be low. The price can also be a factor, since for someone to view it, the team has to be on a paid plan. I’d prefer it if one person, as the master of the workspace, could be on a paid subscription while the rest of the team could stay on a free version just to view.

What I like most about Notion is how flexible it is. What I like most is how flexible it is. You can build a setup that works exactly the way you think. Whether it's simple note-taking, task tracking, or creating databases, there's usually a way to make it happen. The templates are also a huge help when you're starting from scratch.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Flexibility can sometimes be a double-edged sword. It's easy to spend way too much time tweaking pages and organizing things instead of actually getting work done. I've also noticed some lag when pages get packed with databases and content.

Solves the problem of having information scattered across multiple tools and documents. Before using it, notes, tasks, project plans, and important information were spread between different apps, making it easy to lose track of things. **What do you like best about Notion?**

I have been using Notion at for organizing my work. It has been really helpful to track various tasks in my projects, along with time line and due dates.

I heavily use the code blocks to store versions of code. It easily and swiftly handles thousands of lines of code. This I haven't found in any app.


The new feature that collects all tasks at one place has been amazing. It really helps 

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Notion mail. I haven't been able to use that because I use outlook. If outlook integration is supported, I'd love to use mail.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In simple words, Notion is helping me organize my knowledge. I'm constantly learning new technologies,  and it's easy to loose track of what I've learned. I take notes, heavily, on notion. I can view them anytime from my mobile or tablet for review. They are highly organized in hierarchies. 

Other important thing that notion is recently helping me with is my writing. I write about what I learn, about the technologies and the projects I'm working on. Notion AI is the best writing assistant out there. It helps me find the right title for my study article. It helps me optimize my article for seo. It helps me correct my grammar. It even rewrites my draft in fewer or more words. It's something once I couldn't even imagine.

I love Notion for its All-in-One workspace concept. It helps me manage notes, tasks, databases, and even content planning and sharing without the hassle of switching between multiple tools. This feature alone motivated my team to switch from other products like Trello and Google Docs. I also appreciate the clean and minimal interface of Notion, which makes navigating through its features smooth and seamless. This design reduces clutter, saves time, and decreases mental stress. Notion has also been reliable for managing both my personal to-do lists and professional projects efficiently with its exclusive integrations, AI features, and it also comes with great pricing and an awesome support team that is budget-friendly

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Notion is powerful but not perfect. It needs improvement in a few areas like performance lag. When pages become feature-rich and heavy, there is a noticeable performance lag that happens, slowing down Notion and taking time to load pages. Another big drawback is the offline mode, which needs improvement because access becomes limited and unreliable.

I use Notion to manage to-do lists and projects without juggling multiple tools, reducing missed deadlines. Its all-in-one workspace and minimal interface streamline my tasks, cutting time waste and mental stress that I faced earlier.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Nothing new I like. In fact, I stopped using it. We were offered credits and they abruptly pulled them (for lots of people). A stupid decision that cost them future subscriptions which we would have been paying by now. But trust was broken. We now use Obsidian and love it. Notion is obviously still a good product, but that alone is not the only thing that matters, hence the new rating of 5 rather than the 1 I'd love to give them.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

For me? No. For the future? Keeping their word and not treating users like dirt. But, again, it's their loss ultimately. I'm happy with Obsidian. If they are happy with $0 from me, then fine.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of having data all over the place (as much as any tool can). You can put almost any data into Notion. Whether you want to is up to you, but even when you put data in other applications, there's a huge range of embeddable options so you can probably display it in Notion. It's my goto store for data. From complicated projects to simple note taking. No more hundreds of text editor/notepad files left open with forgotten but important notes.

I dont think there’s any new features besides the ai functionality but i didnt subscribe to notion i couldnt really use it

freemium for ai usage would be great, a lot of ai tools these days and I cant be buying everything

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like how AI is now helping me to organise my notes, but I am also a user of chatgpt, I can tell there is a huge difference in the IQ (should I put it like that) of the AI between Chatgpt and Notion AI. ChatGPT is smarter than Notion and  they can provide more valuable answer. 

It would be nice of Notion AI can actually produce answer not only based on one single page but across page. They can gather the data from different pages to provide a smarter answer.

I type my own command more than picking the options provided by Notion AI.

I also find it annoying when how it will remove all my command when I leave the page, so I have to type what I have typed to the Notion AI command again.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion has streamlined my university organization and workflow. Being able to track tasks and manage files takes a massive amount of stress out of my daily routine. Notion AI has also been incredible for note-taking and summarizing information—it’s even helped me plan my final-year dissertation. Packed with features, it is easily worth the $10 a month asking price, which feels like an absolute steal.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

While Notion is incredibly powerful, its mobile performance can suffer when handling large databases or multiple widgets. Although this slowdown isn't noticeable most of the time, it can occasionally impact your workflow speed. So increasing the performance of the application and database also adding offline support would greatly improve the product

Planning and researching my assignments by giving me building blocks which help me understand what I need to talk about and how I talk about it, I've always been bad with managing my time and remembering so having a centralised system to store my ideas and though is super helpful

I like that Notion makes it easy to create pages and keep things organized. I also appreciate that I don't need to manually save my work, it's automatically saved, which is very convenient. Additionally, I love that I can access Notion on both my phone and computer across all different devices. Using Notion, I manage both my personal and business tasks, making my life more organized. Overall, it's valuable because without Notion, my organization system wouldn't be as thorough.

I love that Notion is one of my best assets in both personal and professional life. Personally, it helps me organize my everyday life, draft personal writing, summarize long content, brainstorm ideas, and extract insights and themes. Professionally, it is invaluable for writing and editing professional documents, summarizing meeting notes, extracting action items from meetings, automating repetitive tasks, and organizing projects. I also really appreciate how easy and intuitive it is to use, as this makes it amazing to work with.

I find the user interface doesn't flow well. It took some getting used to.

The thing I like most about notion is that while you are busy with your meetings it records the transcript of the call summaries the notes and now since it have a builtin AI option as well so it makes the work more efficient

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Sometimes it have lags and it UI is confusing like how can we relocate, while doing integrations some times it fails like while integrating with claude. The price of 39 CAD is high in my opinion. The support overall is good.

My biggest issue was while having meetings some times due to difference of accent it was difficult to understand the point client is trying to communicate so notion makes it easy to understand after providing the summarized version,

**What do you like best about Notion?**

It offers a comprehensive set of features and can integrate with other business tools like Slack and other CRMs. On top of that, it’s easy to use and straightforward to navigate. The speed to spin up a database on Notion and link it to pages is great so I'd say great performance rate. Pricing is pretty reasonable for a sole trader servicing the clients. We have not used support yet but there are plenty of resources and support is there anyway to help if we need. Notion bot is great - used it a few times and it does provide great insight on ideas we have

Perhaps the UI can be easier to nevigate - especially the table format.

It's AI. Having AI for review of my notes, to transcribe and summary professional meetings on Zoom, and even Youtube videos for later review and practical analysis is extremely helpful!

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The one inconvenience that comes to mind is the number of updates I used to receive. It didn't break the platform but it was a bit disconcerting. It made me feel that something might be wrong behind the scenes that they are frantically trying to resolve without have to make a public announcement. That said, it hasn't happened in a while.

providing a structure to organize information in general. From simple notes that deserve a deeper dive to entire meeting transcriptions that are more complete than my personally ability to record the meeting.

Notion is a powerful tool, but it comes with some real frustrations. The most noticeable one is speed  it loads slowly, especially on mobile, which is annoying when you just want to jot something down quickly.
It also tries to do everything at once  notes, databases, wikis, project management  which makes simple tasks feel unnecessarily complicated. The learning curve is real too, with terms like "rollups" and "database views" feeling overwhelming for new users.
The offline experience is weak, so if you lose internet, Notion becomes almost useless. The mobile app is also a letdown editing complex pages on your phone feels clunky and limited.
Surprisingly, there's no real reminder system. You can write all your tasks, but nothing will actually notify you, and syncing with Google Calendar isn't straightforward either.

The UI is user-friendly, and overall it’s quite easy to use. I can’t say much about the pricing since I used a corporate plan, but I do know they offer a free version for individuals.

So overall one of the best tool on the market.

Sometimes I had difficulties with the way information is presented when a page is connected to a table, or when you open a section and there’s a table with different items inside it. I know I’m missing something and that there’s a reason behind it, but I’ve been using it for several years and still haven’t figured it out.

I also had some complications when trying to find the right page. When you have a lot of pages and a very complex structure, it’s really hard to locate certain things.

Besides that, I exported a lot of files in .md format, and since we had different departments, I had to do it in several bundles. As a result, I ended up with many duplicates: when the same page is connected to different departments, it gets copied as many times as it’s referenced.

It definitely solves the problem of building a knowledge base around departments and internal processes in any company. The database views are what made me stick with it. I run a blog calendar for content work, and being able to switch between a flat list, views by status, by writer, or by content type—all from the same set of data—is something I didn’t realise I needed until I had it. Before this, I was tracking blog posts in a spreadsheet, and it just didn’t offer that kind of flexibility.

The teamspace setup also works well for keeping things separated. Client work stays in its own space, personal stuff remains private, and shared docs are actually shared. That separation feels cleaner than I expected from a tool that tries to do everything.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It can be slow to load at times, especially on older hardware or when you have a lot of nested pages. Opening a database with a decent number of entries takes a beat longer than it should. It’s not a deal breaker, but it’s noticeable when you’re trying to jump between things quickly.

I love the fact that it can take all of my information in any format, then store and index it all.  Being able to tie everything together and build systems directly within Notion allows me to customize it to exactly what I want.

I really want to like the Notion AI Agents, and used them a lot during the beta period.  However, when I found out I was required to purchase tokens monthly -- THEN I LOSE THEM IF NOT USED -- that told me it's not worth using.

Notion is helping solve the problem of sharing information, reports, meeting, and action plans across multiple teammembers as well as keeping me organized with all data that I have.

I have a dev background and was always used to work with part code part text. In Notion I can have the best of all world and also with the AI transcription feature, I was using that all time during my day by day work. IT saved a lot of time sending the resume after the calls.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like Notion's dashboard because it helps me give my clients something they can see and keeps them updated. I appreciate everything about Notion, especially its flexibility to be transferred to multiple different things. I find it good because I can use it for multiple different areas in multiple ways. The flexibility really helps me pivot when needed, which is valuable since I own two different businesses. I also find integrating Notion with my cloud to be helpful, as it allows me to build things and integrate them very well.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The UI is a little hard to understand whenever you first get into it, and the building of it is kind of cranky. If you don't really dive into it, then it just becomes essentially board. The initial setup was pretty difficult. To be able to figure out the odds and ends of it, it's pretty difficult. A lot of people that I know don't really like the tech side of things, so it's a little harder to get into.

Notion helps me keep my clients updated with dashboards and lets me pivot easily as I manage two businesses. Its flexibility allows versatile use in different areas, helping me integrate well with my cloud.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The fact that it can be a doc, a database, a task list, or all three at once depending on what you need. I've stopped using three other tools because Notion just handles it. Takes some getting used to, but once it clicks it's hard to go back.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It gets slow when pages have a lot of content or nested databases. Not unusable, but there's a noticeable lag sometimes, especially on mobile. For a tool I'm in every day, that adds up.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was using different apps for notes, tasks, and project tracking and nothing was connected. Switching between them constantly was more friction than it sounds. Having it all in one place means I spend less time managing where things live and more time actually doing the work.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The more I use Notion, the more I discover some really cool ways to create pages that present information clearly. There’s definitely a long learning curve, and I’m sure there’s even more I could do—I just haven’t figured it all out yet.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It takes a while, and a lot of fumbling, to figure out how to use Notion in a truly organized way. We use Notion as our database for all internal documents, but not everyone uses it efficiently. As a result, documents become out of date quickly, and duplicative pages with similar information end up scattered throughout the platform.

I wish Notion had an AI that could flag when you’re creating a document that already exists elsewhere with the same (or very similar) content. I also wish this AI could flag when a document hasn’t been updated in 30 days. It would be helpful to get suggestions on where to house a new document as well—for example, guidance on which parent page it should live under or be linked from. Reminders or alerts to update material you’ve created would also be super helpful.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I appreciate the flexibility of how to organize information, and also love the ability to link databases + integrate with other platforms. The integration feature  is really handy when it comes to log maintenance.

I really like the addition of AI and that I can just ask within the UI itself. As always, everything is within reach in a singular space so it makes note taking and organization super efficient.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I still feel similarly from my previous response, but it has gotten better since then. Although I think the templates have also gotten better with newer features.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion providing AI together with my favorite note taking space has truly saved me so much time. Especially when I'm in a crunch and have not figured it out by the time I wanted, I talk to the AI assistant to guide me to the correct solution. I do think that AI is not very accurate. I have asked it many questions and it's answered with tools/libraries that do not exist. I know there is a disclaimer about it not being very accurate, however, I would like to know that what I'm paying for is worth it. I have not really spent too much time asking it as much as I did before because of this, but I definitely think the note taking is amazing and it has made me become a better organized engineer! Everything is in one place.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

The ability to use unstructured data The same way that we use structured data. I am able to create databases and then have Notion do some online searching to update the database, or I can use my voice to update the databases using other tools that work with Notion AI.  This improves my performance, saves me time, gets things done more quickly. So it's a major return on investment given that Notion is a value for money service.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The inability to know what you're really paying for. Right now, I get a bill each month. I'd like to see more granular detail and the ability to track costs by project. Flat-rate pricing is nice, but some of Notion's recent announcements suggest that pricing is changing. Support has not really been doing a great job in communicating this, and to find that information on the Notion website is a journey, not a destination.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've produced a bunch of websites that are data driven. Before Notion, the whole idea of creating data driven websites was foreign to me. This created an easy on ramp because Notion's user experience is replicatable across everything you do. I was able to integrate it with website HTML, use tools like Notion, and speak to my database using Telegram. So integrations, artificial intelligence, and user experience were all combined into one for me.
