Simple to use and easy to understand. I have a subscription service I offer my clients, and the system makes it easy to add them as customers then setup recurring billing on their credit cards. The Batch Manager and Customer Roster are the most heavily used areas for me. The pricing is also extremely competitive, but it's the support I get that really makes it attractive. Recently I needed ACH payment capabilities integration, and Ben and the team made it super easy to do that! My customers love the payments page and the details that are e-mailed to me make it easy for me to reconcile my ledger in Quicken. It is difficult for me to offer a valid criticism of this system, since it does everything really well. Combined systems like Quickbooks don't offer nearly the same experience and costs a lot more. There's nothing new about the gateway that I've noticed; however, I don't generally board any merchants to your gateway any longer. The only thing that is kind of convenient is the fact that we can go in, sign in as the merchant, and set up is pretty easy, but the majority of other gateways that we resell do the exact same thing. Once you guys acquired Iris, your service went extremely downhill, and it's continuing to drop. The service levels continue to not get any better at all. You can send an email and get a response back days, if not weeks, later. US AEPAY is even worse yet. I don't really have too much good to say about NMI other than it's an easy setup. What I like best about NMI Gateway is its flexible payment infrastructure and developer-friendly integration options. The gateway provides a straightforward way to integrate payment processing into an existing platform through APIs while supporting a broad range of transaction and merchant-management capabilities. One area that could be improved is making some of the more advanced gateway features and configuration options easier to understand and access. More detailed technical documentation, clearer implementation examples, and a more streamlined onboarding process for advanced API integrations would make the overall experience even better. I like the ease of setting up merchants and the integrated e-check application in NMI Gateway. It's relatively simple to set up even though it took some time initially. I like that with NMI Gateway, as the Processor, I can log in and assist my merchants, which is crucial for those who are not tech-savvy. This proactive support capability sets NMI apart from other gateways like Authorize.net. The login function is really helpful as it allows me to see exactly what the merchants are looking at or to get the details they are missing. Another big feature I find incredibly useful is the ability to have multiple processing backends loaded up on NMI. This lets me easily swap or point to another backend without needing a whole new gateway, especially if one goes down. The uptime has been phenomenal, and it's been a great experience using them for about 6 years with very few issues. It's my top recommended gateway, a 10 for me.
