"Granular Analysis That Delivers"
5/5
What do you like best about nGeniusONE?

The granular analysis that netscout provides. I like how it seems to break down the data with a layered approach. It makes it very easy for network administrators to quickly resolve a problem Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about nGeniusONE?

Not much it is a pretty good application. I only use ngenius for discovering network issues and there is a whole lot more that can be done from a server and cyber security prospective, but what it offers it is really good for network analysis Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about nGeniusONE?

Overall, I find NETSCOUT very powerful, but some aspects could be improved, such as simplifying the user interface and reducing the complexity of setting up some components, as well as providing more flexible and customizable reports and dashboards. Additionally, improving integration with some cloud and other monitoring tools and simplifying the data analysis process could make the solution easier and more efficient for daily use. "Broad Network Visibility and Responsive Support with NetScout nGenius"
4/5
What do you like best about nGeniusONE?

The NetScout observability suite provides visibility into a large variety of core networks, packaged into a complete service provider solution. The support team is quick to respond to incidents.

The Engineering Sales team works hard to ensure that the deployment architecture makes sense for our network. They ensure our nG1 and nSA deployments provide meaningful data, in a reliable way that allows multiple teams to use the tools every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about nGeniusONE?

The NetScout solutions are used to monitor complex networks, which require complex initial configuration to make the system useful. There is significant effort required during the implementation of new probes to make the system work as intended.

There are APIs available, but they are not very well documented. I would love to see NetScout develop OpenAPI documentation for use with their tools, as this would make integration with other existing tools easier for our tools development teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-Time Traffic Visibility That Makes Troubleshooting Easier"
4.5/5
What do you like best about nGeniusONE?

What I like best about NETSCOUT Network & Application Observability is the ability to observe real-time traffic when troubleshooting enterprise issues. Having immediate visibility into live packet flows and application behavior makes it far easier to pinpoint root causes quickly, reduce downtime, and validate that fixes are working as intended. It provides a level of clarity and precision that’s invaluable when managing complex, distributed environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about nGeniusONE?

What I dislike about NETSCOUT Network & Application Observability is that I would like more observability into cloud networks. While it provides excellent real‑time visibility into on‑premises and hybrid environments, deeper native insight into cloud‑native traffic and services would make the platform even more powerful, especially as enterprise architectures continue shifting toward distributed and multi‑cloud designs. "Essential for Real-Time Network Monitoring"
5/5
What do you like best about nGeniusONE?

I use NETSCOUT Network & Application Observability for real-time monitoring, which has helped me in various ways. I like the depth monitoring capabilities with Open Manager, allowing me to manage Hyper V, VMware, Citrix, Zen, and Nutanix Edge Sales Service. It also allows me to monitor wireless networks and ensures that routers in towers across the network are visible. I appreciate that it gives disk visibility and device health, and it lets me monitor network services and visualize system performance. Keeping track of server performance to make sure they run at optimum levels is also beneficial. Additionally, I'm glad to see memory and CPU utilization, which is another feature I find valuable. "Powerful Network Visibility, Steep Learning Curve"
4/5
What do you like best about nGeniusONE?

I like the end-to-end visibility provided across both network and application performance. The dashboards make it easier to identify abnormal traffic patterns and performance issues. The detailed analytics help narrow down the root cause without switching between multiple monitoring tools. The alerting and reporting capabilities are also useful for proactive monitoring and faster incident resolution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about nGeniusONE?

The biggest areas for improvement are the learning curve and dashboard usability. Simplifying navigation, improving report customization, and providing more beginner-friendly documentation would enhance the overall experience. The platform could be improved by making the interface more intuitive, especially for users who are new to network observability tools. A simplified dashboard with customizable widgets for different roles would help users focus on the most relevant metrics. More built-in templates for reports, easier navigation between related views, and better contextual guidance within the application would reduce the learning curve. Additionally, faster loading of complex dashboards and more integration examples or setup documentation for cloud and hybrid environments would improve the overall user experience. "Quickly Identifies Network Choke Points and Issues"
4.5/5
What do you like best about nGeniusONE?

The ability to quickly identify network choke points and issues. I can take a ticket with network slowness and quickly find if the issue is based in DNS or app slowness, or maybe even network slowness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about nGeniusONE?

I don't like how hard it is to drill down to a specific conversation. Sometimes I need to change to TCP view, or a timeframe. And managing the platform is very tedious as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Ultimate Tool for Eliminating Network and Application Blind Spots"
5/5
What do you like best about nGeniusONE?

What I like best about the platform is its deep packet inspection and real-time visibility across the hybrid infrastructure. Unlike tools that rely on basic logs or sampling and leave you guessing, it captures actual traffic data. This gives us a solid, single source of truth when identifying bottleneck areas.

During high-severity incidents, the end-to-end insights cut through the noise, allowing us to accurately pinpoint cloud latency spikes or application code issues. It has significantly reduced our mean time to resolution (MTTR) and streamlined team collaboration, keeping our deployment environments stable and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about nGeniusONE?

While the platform is incredibly powerful, it does come with a noticeable learning curve for team members who aren't core network specialists. The interface holds a massive amount of technical data, which can occasionally feel overwhelming to navigate when you just need a quick, high-level metric. Additionally, because it processes such high volumes of traffic data in real time, there can sometimes be minor dashboard lagging when running highly complex, custom queries across larger environments. "TrueCall Helps Troubleshoot Customer Device Issues"
4/5
What do you like best about nGeniusONE?

True Call for troubleshooting issues with customer devices and helping to find holes in the network coverage. Also helps in finding issues with cell sites within the network. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about nGeniusONE?

NGenius One. As another department takes care of that side of the house. My side does not really dive deep into the genius side because we are not concerned so much with the core devices and how they are working Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Network and Application Engineer"
4/5
What do you like best about nGeniusONE?

What I like most about NETSCOUT Network & Application Observability is the depth of visibility it provides across both network and application performance. It helps identify issues quickly without spending hours checking multiple monitoring tools. The real time traffic analysis and detailed performance insights make it easier to understand where bottlenecks are happening and how they impact end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about nGeniusONE?

One area that could be improved is the learning curve for new users. The platform offers a lot of features and detailed data, which can feel overwhelming at first. It takes some time to understand where to find specific insights and how to make the most of the available reports.

I also feel that some dashboards could be more customizable to match different team requirements. While the platform is powerful, navigating through large amounts of information can sometimes require extra effort when you are looking for a specific metric or issue.
