It easily links to bank accounts and pulls information into reports. I like that it works with Quickbooks and has mobile options as well. It's comparable to Google Drive, but the syncing is lovely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to use and scan documents. good clarity and the ability to make sure it knows whether it is a document or a business card is helpful for searching for documents as well. the software is very simplistic for not having the cloud version. the ability to scan multiple documents to particular folders, combine them and send them. the ability to email as well is nice after they are scanned. You can link it to your cloud account and able to push them there so you can access them at any point. we currently do not use the cloud version as we just use the desktop version to scan and save them locally which works fine for us as well. Being replaced by phones now. the features are great but the ability to have it in an app is more helpful especially with ones that will put it to a GL account or be able to search for things through the apps and through the cloud based items also. This program helps me keep all of our Company's gas receipts, food purchases, etc made on our credit cards together each month. This makes it so easy to balance on a monthly basis. You can also run reports to keep your Accountant happy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I could not perform the free 30-day trial, since it only operates in the United States, and additionally asks me to register a credit card or paypal account to give me access to the program, I find a negative aspect, as the page expressly says that you have a free trial for 30 days. Neat has made my job, correction my life, so much simpler due to its organization of my receipts. This software has cut my time doing my invoices for my job in half. I have, even, started incorporating Neat with my own personal finances because of how simple and easy their software is to navigate. My personal favorite feature is the search bar. I know it’s just a search bar, but I simply have to type one word in it and it brings up the exact receipt with that one item on it that I would normally spend hours looking for. The only downfall of this software is that it doesn’t detect if a receipt or email has already been previously recorded. If I am unsure if I have uploaded a receipt I would upload it again just to make sure I had it recorded. Well, in doing so, I had multiple duplicates of the same receipt and it would confuse me if said receipt had not been put in a folder yet. I wish it would catch this mistake and offer up an informational box like “ I see you already have this receipt recorded. Would you like to upload a copy?” Or something along those lines. Just a heads up to let me know I already have the uploaded that piece of data before I do it again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
