I like that it works with Quickbooks and has mobile options as well. It's comparable to Google Drive, but the syncing is lovely. **What do you dislike about Neat?** You will still need to maintain a seperate accounting system for payroll and high level accounting reports. This isn't necessarly bad, but just something to be mindful of. **What problems is Neat solving and how is that benefiting you?** Organization of all expenses, not just business related. It's easy to classify things you may pay for personally, but are actually business related. Once you get into the routing, and set up 'rules' within the system it is very fast. ### 3. Its been helpful in keeping my work organized and neat. Ive had a lot of success, with this app. **What do you dislike about Neat?** The software itself is fantastic for organizing receipts and data the added expense, for hardware its inconvenient. **What problems is Neat solving and how is that benefiting you?** The Neat Companys software organizes and digitizes all my receipts and documents. It saves me an amount of time and physical space. It makes tax season a breeze. ### 4. Good product and dependable easy to use and cloud based **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Joey S. | Director of Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2020 **What do you like best about Neat?** Easy to use and scan documents. good clarity and the ability to make sure it knows whether it is a document or a business card is helpful for searching for documents as well. the software is very simplistic for not having the cloud version. the ability to scan multiple documents to particular folders, combine them and send them. the ability to email as well is nice after they are scanned. You can link it to your cloud account and able to push them there so you can access them at any point. we currently do not use the cloud version as we just use the desktop version to scan and save them locally which works fine for us as well. **What do you dislike about Neat?** Being replaced by phones now. the features are great but the ability to have it in an app is more helpful especially with ones that will put it to a GL account or be able to search for things through the apps and through the cloud based items also. I am sure they will get there if they have not already but still have a lot of success with apps that are free at this point. **Recommendations to others considering Neat:** It is a good product. There is a lot of options out there. only downside this vs a cell phone or tablet is the fact you have to buy the hardware for it. Outside of that it is easy to use and put into multiple offices. Do your research i think this is a good fit for light operations. **What problems is Neat solving and how is that benefiting you?** we use it to scan documents and receipts to clients along with keeping record of items that might be needed such as resumes etc. We currently like to use it as a backup system in case our scanning software has issue ### 6. This makes it so easy to balance on a monthly basis. You can also run reports to keep your Accountant happy. **What do you dislike about Neat?** I really don't use the business card option... Almost obsolete now. **What problems is Neat solving and how is that benefiting you?** This makes it so much easier to keep track of all those small little receipts. This makes our Accountant a VERY happy camper! ### 7. Organize all your documents and create a backup of invoices, collection issues with Neat **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Katherine S. | profesional adminitrativo, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2019 **What do you like best about Neat?** This app is type of virtual cloud which helps you scan or manually place the data of your invoices, collection issues, which throws you the process of saving and control of the documents you scan, so that communication with your suppliers flow without losing the order of arrival and dispatch of them, has the option to automatically classify invoices together, purchases, payment orders or any other document, you can scan the document from your pc, a scanner or your cell phone. **What do you dislike about Neat?** I could not perform the free 30-day trial, since it only operates in the United States, and additionally asks me to register a credit card or paypal account to give me access to the program, I find a negative aspect, as the page expressly says that you have a free trial for 30 days. **Recommendations to others considering Neat:** Organize your processes of collection, sale and billing neat makes it easier. **What problems is Neat solving and how is that benefiting you?** This application is for a small business sales, If I find myself in a process where I have a lot of demand for sale this application will keep me the order of the invoices I make daily, the payments I receive and purchase orders I request, follow up with my suppliers quickly and easily, I can make the calculations of my taxes among others. ### 8. Neat recognizes the data very well; I rarely have to correct its input. **What do you dislike about Neat?** I should be able to edit the image after I've uploaded it. Unfortunately, this is not currently possible, sometimes making my work less tidy than I would like. And I find the program's processing to be a bit slow. **What problems is Neat solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's wonderful to have the project receipt data organized so, well, neatly. Neat makes it quite easy to input data and filter results. ### 9. This software has cut my time doing my invoices for my job in half. I have, even, started incorporating Neat with my own personal finances because of how simple and easy their software is to navigate. My personal favorite feature is the search bar. I know it’s just a search bar, but I simply have to type one word in it and it brings up the exact receipt with that one item on it that I would normally spend hours looking for. **What do you dislike about Neat?** The only downfall of this software is that it doesn’t detect if a receipt or email has already been previously recorded. If I am unsure if I have uploaded a receipt I would upload it again just to make sure I had it recorded. Well, in doing so, I had multiple duplicates of the same receipt and it would confuse me if said receipt had not been put in a folder yet. I wish it would catch this mistake and offer up an informational box like “ I see you already have this receipt recorded. Would you like to upload a copy?” Or something along those lines. Just a heads up to let me know I already have the uploaded that piece of data before I do it again. **Recommendations to others considering Neat:** I would highly recommend this product for personal and business use to everyone. My best friend is an accountant and this is the only software she will use. **What problems is Neat solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has provided my business with better organization of our finances.
