Easy to set up and implement system, user friendly, great for repository of information; easy to train faculty and students; can add institutional branding, can use for variety of things such as courses, program review, student workspaces, faculty workspaces, curriculum management, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Does not have all of the functionality of more robust LMS systems, doesn't offer many customization tools, layout is a bit archaic; importing and exporting courses take several steps and the process is very clunky. We use Moodle primarily to offer courses to students; we also use Moodle to house our program review and curriculum management processes. Moodle helps us organize information and have a centralized place to direct students, faculty, and admin to work through key processes.
