**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Everything.

For me it's like a white canvas where I can express everything I need to transmit to my students in an engaged, practical and easy to use environment, all the knowledge they need to learn to become experts using Microsoft 365 tools.

It allowed me to develop an online training methodology, with exceptional results: Completion rate ~100%, Students satisfaction ~96 to 100%, Dropout rate ~0 to 3%.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Nothing. I really feel very satisfied with Moodle and all the functionally it brings to me.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me convert all my courses initially developed in face-to-face mode to online mode, to bring quality solutions in online training to my customer and the community in general.

  ### 5. Open and Free Learning Tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giovanni S. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Being open source is the best thing. It has a huge community and you can customise it as you wish. It is very flexible for creating courses in a variety of fields. Also, the possibility of tracking advancements is very well thought.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Probably the things that still must be improved are loading speeds specially for content retrieval (support for CDN's?) and easy tools to create the course contents entirely from within the admin interface.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use several moodle instances to provide custom learning modules for customers that want walled garden learning platforms for their end users.

  ### 6. Marvellous Moodle

**Reviewed by:** Sushumnarao T. | Interactive Moodle Course Designer and developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Learner Engagement Options, Content presentation modes, Gamification through simple options and Flexibility to Addons as per requirements.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

To address learners requirements, manage resources, learners and students and communicate.

  ### 7. Moodle is a full package for students all over America to simplify their academic needs.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Moodle supports multiple universities and has excellent separations for each subject-wise division of coursework, assignment and examination, along with an integrated calendar application to show schedules.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Moodle asks a student to log in multiple times. The Moodle session closes very soon and always checks for two-factor authentication every 30 minutes despite requesting the website to remember the login for 30 days.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moodle simplifies my experience of dealing with more than three subjects every semester as a graduate student by helping me maintain a stratified outlook on the amount of course load assigned to me.

  ### 8. Moodle to manage teaching

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julio G. | Director de Desarrollo de Proyectos, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

It is a pleasant environment for teaching and learning, allowing for the orderly distribution of content and study materials according to the designed learning programs.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

The customization of content tabs has varied in the updates, making it a bit difficult to organize the learning content that will be added to the platform.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The management of content for learning processes is effective and practical, with a user-friendly interface for students using the platform.

**Official Response from Megha Rajan:**

> We sincerely appreciate your time and effort in reviewing our platform. Your feedback is of utmost importance to us. At Moodle, we are dedicated to continually enhancing our solutions to achieve the best possible learning outcomes. If you have any technical questions, please do not hesitate to contact Moodle Partners for assistance.

  ### 9. The best LRM solution among its alternatives

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mehmet K. | Front-End Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Overall, Moodle has been a pretty worthwhile experience for me. My team and I spend relatively little effort on Moodle generating new classes, courses, and exams. The administration of courses is pretty smooth, and students may easily learn Moodle's user interface.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

On each server we tried to put it on, the suggested installation procedure (straight from server console) didn't work for us. We completed setting up every instance via the web (which is a very great option).

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If there is a free, open source option that meets their objectives, I believe particularly big, publically supported institutions should make a very cautious decision. Not even a perfect match is necessary. They can still save money by simply hiring someone to modify existing software to suit their particular requirements; ideally, they should also release their modifications under an open license.

It's super intuitive which means that you don't have to spend loads of time learning how it works. Its also great that you can have videos, links, text whatever.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Moodle platform has acted as a boon to students and educational institutions, especially during covid for learning and taking assessments. Its easy algorithm makes it very convenient for its users to handle the platform and make the most of it. It allows users to save files and folders privately for later use, and its password encryption makes it more secure and safe.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

There is nothing much that I dislike about the platform, but it sometimes makes the navigation slow owing to a large number of users using it together at once, also the user interface can be updated as per the latest trends like introducing groups or real-time problem-solving interface for quick issue resolution.

Moodle LMS is a one-stop solution for taking up assessments in the form of objective type, long written open-ended questions; uploading pdfs, word documents, excel sheets, PPTs, etc. It allows students to keep track of their grades and makes evaluation more manageable and convenient for all its users.

**Recommendations to others considering Moodle:**

I am a user of Module I strongly recommend you to try this software still you have not used it. It is open-source and your education institute can use it. So far there are no issues I have found while I am using this software.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a university students always need to access our lecture materials. Easily I could find lecture materials which were uploaded to moodle by our lectures. It also has an integrated chat system which helps to communicate with my university friends.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

If you have very specific requirements and your use case does not fit exactly within what Moodle has to offer, you'll be in for a lot of pain (development time).

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used Moodle to quickly set up a custom learning environment. Not having to develop in-house a similar solution allowed us to save on costs and iterate faster.

  ### 30. Assessment and Learning made Simple - Moodle !!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

After Covid, most of the educational institutes went into the online mode of education. Moodle was a breakthrough platform for educational Institutes. Its user interface and easy-to-use features helped the students and the educators to be familiar with the software very quickly. It also allowed us to save our files and use them at a later time. The discussion forums provided in Moodle helped the students start discussions on the forum and where everyone can have their opinions. Even though education went inline these features helped the students stay in touch.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Not much to dislike about Moodle, except for the fact that with the increase in the number of students using the platform at the same time, the platform functions slowly comparatively. Also, the messaging feature of the platform seems to function a bit slow sometime. Except for these, it has no other notable issues.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moodle LMS is an all in all one-stop solution for all the educational institutes during and during the post covid period. the assessments, assignments and quizzes that are conducted through Moodle are easily accessible to the students and provide immediate scores and grades for the same. It provides a history of individual subjects and their scores so that the students can keep a track of the same which will help them improve their grades eventually.

  ### 31. Teaching made easy!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyrone G. | Academic Advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

I like that I can integrate videos and pictures into the platform in order to better serve my student's. I also like that I can lock certain sections in order to for my student's not to move ahead in the course.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

It is not the most up to date with the technology. I feel that it could be a little bit more intuitive with today's technology. It works but I think it could use an up grade for sure.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think we are giving our student's an opportunity to learn more online since the start of covid. We are trying to make our school more accessible to the world so students can learn and have a work-life balance.

  ### 32. Excellent

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan M. | special education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

It is a good platform to study from various Professions and their areas as well as to take a review to revalidate as medicine psychology among others. It is a good alternative to study and get certified in various subjects of any profession.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

I consider that despite being a good platform to update a lot of its didactic contents since they have been around for a long time or are old from the rest, I consider it to be a good platform.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used various didactic materials to use them in my work as a special education teacher in addition to this is for another for taking my bar exam, a review that was very useful to me.

  ### 33. Moodle is good, but clunky

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katrina B. | Owner/Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

I like the ability to set up an online learning environment using a CMS that is free. It's easy enough to setup in most webhosting control panels, or even manually.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Moodle is a bit of a challenge to set up and utilize. Information on setting up various options, updating a current system, and finding "how to" do things can be complex.

**Recommendations to others considering Moodle:**

Be sure to take advantage of the numerous youtube videos out there, to help in the set up and management of your Moodle CMS and how to add courses. There really is no assistance, as it is a free CMS. Additionally, the support community is not a lot of help in most cases, as you're forced to repeat yourself over and over again, in order to finally find someone who can answer your question. It can be very frustrating. So hit up online resources, search for help via google, and use youtube.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Moodle, I was able to create an online learning environment in a relatively short period of time. This enabled me to then market my online courses, which has been especially helpful during the pandemic.

  ### 34. I really like moodle. I find it simple and easy to use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin M. | Development Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Simple interface, easy to use, easy to integrate.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

It's a platform that has been in use for many years, so it has a lot of cool stuff, but I think the layout is a bit outdated. But it's not a bad layout.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provide documents, files, and communications with and among students.

  ### 35. customizable online education

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gustavo J L. | financial markets analyst and writer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

It is a system that encompasses what is really necessary in any educational system, both in schools and private academies.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

I recommend it, it adapts to everything, it can be integrated with free software tools, user control, notes, ph5p can be integrated, which makes activities more dynamic and fun for students. For me, it is the best system for distance education.

**Recommendations to others considering Moodle:**

I recommend it, it adapts to everything, it can be integrated with many useful free software plugins, user control, notes, ph5p, which makes activities more dynamic and fun for students. For me it is the best distance education system

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently I do not solve any problem, at first I had a problem but because I was ignorant of issues regarding PHP versions, but with the support of the moodle community I was able to solve it very easily with just a few small adjustments

  ### 36. Moodle great Open-source LMS but Needs FTE Developer

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John G. | MetroStar University Learning Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

I really like the customization options Moodle provides and the wealth of plug-ins from the open-source community. LDAP configuration is easy to implement for central authentication, and connections to various Virtual Meeting platforms too! Also great is the ability to provide hyperlinks directly to course page modules.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

The age and fragility of the platform require care and knowledge; beyond most beginning implementers. You really need a Full-time Back End developer to support Moodle, and a Full-time Front-end developer while building the customizations. And while course-specific reporting was great, site-wide reporting was very poor and required custom tools to be developed.

**Recommendations to others considering Moodle:**

Budget for a Full-Stack Developer to be a Full-Time Employee on the Moodle site team who is VERY good with Python and the host OS.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company needed a quick and easy-to-implement Learning Management System to provide and track learning across the organization. It had to support in-person and remote learners.

  ### 37. Moodle's decent for smaller workshop websites.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katrina B. | Training and Workshop Facilitator, Sports, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

I like how Moodle gives one the ability to set up multiple courses within a workshop. You're given the opportunity to set up a variety of Categories and then create Workshops within each category, so the ability to create multiply workshops is endless. Addtionally, Moodle is an open and free CMS.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Moodle is not always the most secure CMS. Additionally, it is a challenge to update the system to create a safer online website Workshop presence. Transferring the entire site is also a challenge, although it can be done. It would be nice to see Moodle incorporate the ability to migrate an entire website, and/or just each course, using a plugin or extension similar to the All-in-One WP Migration plugin for WordPress. Additionally, spammers are rampant, so a better and more thorough anti-spam plugin would be a benefit.

**Recommendations to others considering Moodle:**

Check with your webhost first, before installing Moodle, as they might not be up-to-date on the PHP version. Also, Moodle is moving from MySQL to Maria db, and many webhosts have not yet updated to the Maria db, so you would not have the ability to update the course and website files, until your webhost enables those services and features.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moodle does enable one to create a website that boasts a decent-looking, professional Workshop for users. Consequently, one can provide distance learning vs. in-person learning, which is a real benefit in today's business environment.

  ### 38. The best open-source LMS - Moodle

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

I like everything about Moodle. I have used Moodle as an Administrator, a student and as a manager. Moodle is one of the best open-source learning management systems and can be widely used in almost all the industries. It is a robust and scalable LMS. It is highly collaborative and customizable. It offers multilingual, easy file management and can be integrated with any 3rd party applications. It can be hosted as on-premises or on cloud with no performance issues. For EU region, it has introduced GDPR plug-in which helps the organization meeting its GDPR related compliance needs.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Moodle is an open source application hence cannot be used as a default validated LMS like other commercial GxP applications.

**Recommendations to others considering Moodle:**

I highly recommend Moodle for any type of business organizations, educational institutes, etc. It offers wide range of features, custom dashboard, resposiveness, mobile accessibility, etc. It is an open-source application hence no license cost involved.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moodle is a low-cost best-fit LMS across industries. This is best suitable for all types of businesses irrespective of their size. It offers high ROI and also high performance within the organization.

  ### 39. Learn through Learning Management System (LMS)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** NARENDRA PAL SINGH R. | PROF., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

It is open source and configuration is easy. Its community is very large and helps in case you have any difficulty.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

It is a very good LMS to use also in open source to configure the plugins also available as your requirement. In Windows system configuration in new interface little bit confusion to navigation.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easily tracking and reporting facility available, create new courses and make more engagement through this.

  ### 40. A very capable E-learning management system for mid to large sized companies

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohit S. | Documentation and Training Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

I have been using Moodle for about five years, first as a student and for the last three years as a trainer. Moodle is a great platform to test and assess user competencies of your company. Uploading courses, assessments, and enrolling them is very easy. As a complete learning management system - it gives a lot of customization options to create badges, roles, and generate user reports.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

The interface can be a little orthodox. And trainers can sometimes face a challenge in navigating through the site administration options. I specifically faced this issue while trying to assign customized permissions/right to a group of users.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To reduce dependency on third-party tools, I have been exploring Moodle's inbuilt feature of creating assessments. And I realized it is one of the most useful features where one can create a decently competitive assessment on Moodle without the help of any SCORM package from other tools.

  ### 41. Moodle with care

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joao F. | Superintendente de Arquitetura de Negócios e TI, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Free, simple setup, community keeps the product updated as much as possible. You can program and customize the product for your specific needs.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Version update process, need for maintenance of modules made by you or by third parties, infrastructure maintenance, ease of customization can create pitfalls, with clients thinking that everything is possible.

**Recommendations to others considering Moodle:**

Hidden costs with staff and infrastructure are not negligible. The platform is free, but maintaining a quality service, with an updated system, integrated with other legacy systems, with adequate infrastructure, is far from free.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have used Moodle for many years in continuing education. Today we use it for workforce training in our company, offering free courses for employees.

  ### 42. Moodle is the BEST!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meagan C. | Director of Ed Tech, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Moodle is the best Learning Management System that I have had experience using. It is very user-friendly, and it has all of the capabilities that all of the other LMSs have.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

I have not found anything that I dislike about Moodle up until this point. I would like if it to have more reporting tools. If we could run a report to see what students logged in to class on the first day or by the drop date, this would save instructors a lot of time. Another useful report would be a report that shows which assignment a student completed on the first day of class. This would help us to verify that the student is in fact active in the course.

**Recommendations to others considering Moodle:**

The best advice I can give to those considering Moodle, is to reach out to the company and ask for a demo. They can even set you up a test site and provide you with admin, teacher, and student access so that you are able to test out the software as if you were in each of these roles. You can also ask the Moodle support/sales rep to provide you with all of the specs and details about the LMS. What we did here at Southeast Arkansas College was create a list of minimum requirements, features and functionality that was an absolute must and they were able to customize the LMS to suit our needs.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been solving many of the faculty problems in the past, trying to teach students online. We have added many different plugins and tools to Moodle to make it user-friendly for students and faculty. I have also provided many other pieces of training for both to help them get used to the LMS. Students and faculty that are unable to come to campus are now able to do everything from a remote location. In some cases, students can complete their entire degree online. These are students who would not have been able even to attempt higher ed, otherwise.

  ### 43. Wonderful use in academic settings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sadananda Reddy A P. | Assistant Professor, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Options that moodle provided for student view and teacher view, and hiding of the previous materials on-page is really helpful to teacher . Thank you for making our job easy.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

I don't think something is not liked about moodle, all are very feasible options to use for students and teachers ... its more teacher-friendly than students

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All the assignments are provided through moodle only, more than 20000 thousand students access and use and submit their work on the LMS page. evaluation and make it easy for teachers

  ### 44. Moodle is an intuitive online platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hamiyyet B. | Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

What is most helpful about using Moodle is that the application is easy to use and has an intuitive user interface. This is important as sometimes all the people that need to engage with Moodle aren't particularly tech savy. Moodle customer service is also very responsive and answered all of our questions.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

The interface and application of Moodle looks pretty dated. It's a pretty rigid software system and we often find difficulties cleaning up the internal folders and drives and deleting unused or archived forums . The base of it is there is a lot of administrative clunkiness that we have grown out of in 2022.

**Recommendations to others considering Moodle:**

Moodle is a cost effective and budget friendly software for having a learning management software system. In today's post-COVID era it is essential for higher education facilities and even elementary facilities to have a learning management system and moodle covers a lot of the basic functionality that would be needed.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moodle is being used as Learning Management Software to track and manage course work of students and provide assignments and updates online. Students can generate study forums.

  ### 45. the best VLE around

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mental Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

so easy to use, has great development team behind it, great community

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

some times there are to many ways to do the same thing

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

providing a VLE soultion

  ### 46. Perfect for evaluating students.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristian J. | Professor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Currently, I use this software to create classrooms and various evaluation systems;the best thing about the application is the flexibility to develop sections and different automatic questionnaires, with large bases of random questions to facilitate the monitoring of modules with many students.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

There is nothing I don't like about moodle. Maybe we could introduce real-time video chats in a friendlier way. But the truth is that in each version, they add improvements, such as the implementation of the HSP to create questions

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With moodle, I have made different evaluation systems with varying questions: multiple answers, true/false, open questions, or relationship of concepts. The great advantage is that you can make formulas to add the questionnaires and continuous evaluations

  ### 47. Moodle - Prefect solution as a Learning Management System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nilesh Vijay S. | Assistant Professor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Moodle is a free online Learning Management System that allows instructors to establish their private website with dynamic courses that will enable students to learn at their own pace, anytime and anywhere. Moodle can fulfill your demands whether you're a teacher, student, or administrator.Moodle's user interface is easy to use on both desktop and mobile devices, and it's designed to be adaptive and accessible.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Installation on a cloud server is a little bit complicated process. One needs the expertise to install it. But it is a one-time process, so not to worry much about it.

**Recommendations to others considering Moodle:**

I strongly encourage all instructors to use this free platform to create blended learning. Universities and institutes should seriously consider using this learning management system. Forums, wikis, glossaries, database activities, and much more allow people to collaborate and learn together. The calendar feature in Moodle makes it easy to keep track of academic or corporate calendars, course deadlines, group meetings, and other personal activities. Teachers may create and manage courses to fulfil a variety of needs, including as instructor-led, self-paced, blended, or fully online classrooms.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since 2016, I've been utilizing moodle with all of its features. I've created Moodle courses where students can learn online through videos, PdF notes, and PPT presentations that I've uploaded to my Moodle course page. Assignments and online assessments in the form of quizzes are available for students to complete. Moodle allows you to provide badges and awards to students as a token of your appreciation. I can keep track of all of the grades. We can create Puzzles in Moodle as an activity. The course documentation is excellent. Instructors and learners may keep track of their progress and completion using a variety of methods for tracking specific activities or resources, as well as at the course level.

  ### 48. Moodle Review-Higher Education

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

I like moodle because it's been user friendly and very easy to explain and use for employees and for students.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

The thing I dislike most about moodle it sometimes stops working for no reason and system goes down. It could be better if they fixed those little bugs.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moodle is electronic so we do not have to use any paper. The benefits have been saving money on paper and everything can be located in the system.

  ### 49. Good organization of classes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beltran O. | Online Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Versatility and ease of use. Easy to follow and navigate the site for students. A recommendation would be to make the site look a little better. Organizing a class is not so difficult when you have basic training. It is easy to upload files for students to download for projects. The grade book is also easily accessible for students.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Some of the simplest things are buried in a menu. Activate the grades for students to see is hidden in a couple of menus. The grade book is not quick to set up, this is much easier than in other classroom solutions. Although once it is set up for a class, it is easy to import it each time.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are resolving the delivery of online class content to high school students during their regular schedule instead of at night or another time.

  ### 50. A central source for all course material

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew B. | Part-time Lecturer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

The platform acts as the central repository for all our course material for my local university. Students do not have to venture outside of the platform to access all their course material across the university. The platform does not restrict material outside the software platform and is quite accomodating to embedding links and even custom pages to fit your custom needs.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

It can be complex for a non-techie. I have seen members of other faculties have issues that they end up taking to the helpdesk for resolution. It does require a dedicated team to administer and support.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

During the pandemic is served as even a remote quiz administration system. I was able to set up quizzes and write the project brief to measure the student's performance and ensure that they understand what was delivered to them during the remote lectures. Also, the lectures were embedded on the platform using Blackboard Collaborate platform.
