  ### 5. An affordable and robust LMS for any type of organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Javier F. | Consultor de proyectos elearning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

It has a very high degree of customization, both at the graphic level and in extending its functionalities, using graphic "themes" for this purpose, its open-source code that allows it to be modified in a standardized way without fear of future updates, and the use of third-party plugins.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Sometimes its robustness of features works against it, in the perception of non-technical administrators, as they may perceive it as an LMS with too many features and more complex to configure.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped us offer a very affordable LMS tool for any type of organization.

**Official Response from Made Kanthicha:**

> Hi Javier,

Thank you for sharing your experience with Moodle! It's fantastic to hear that you've had a positive experience using Moodle. The high degree of customisation is what sets Moodle apart from its competitors.

  ### 6. best-in-class open source LMS for today and the future

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bill M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

After the pandemic virtual learning debacle, it became obvious to adopt tools specialized in delivering blended and virtual learning. Moodle gets it all right, flexible and powerful; superb features for any style of learning, and a huge plug-in ecosystem.

With API access it is not difficult to pull resources in from other sources (or share resources from moodle).

I'd be remiss if I didnt mention H5P, interactive asessment that links into moodles gradebook. All really good stuff.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Anything relating the customizing themes is a pain in the ass. I use default theme boost. There are some really good themes you can buy - not that expensive. But if you want to customize a theme, blech.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Delivering content is more than just watching youtube videos. There has to be meaningful assessment and engagement or it's just another resource dump. Being able to offer blended or virtual learning is a huge value-add for me and my students. Moreover, if a student wants to extend their learning I can simply enrol them in one of my courses.

**Official Response from Made Kanthicha:**

> Hi Bill,

Thank you for writing review about Moodle. We're thrilled to hear about your positive experience with Moodle especially regarding its flexibility, powerful features and integration with H5P for interactive assessment.

If you want to improve, customise, or expand your LMS, we encourage you to contact our Moodle Certified Partners and Service Providers, who can provide 24/7 support. Discover how they can support your needs at https://moodle.com/solutions/certified-service-providers/.

  ### 7. Moodle Workplace Provides The Power and Flexibility Needed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew L. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

The migration to Moodle Workplace provided us with a powerful training and implementation team that laid the foundation for our LMS today. Of course, most LMS companies help with migration, but this was different. I had managed other LMS providers in my career and the experience, answers, and dedicated time - but my experience with Moodle US was beyond anything that I had experienced. Our LMS went from no courses to over 200 as of today. We are in the administration side of Moodle Workplace every day the office is open as we support students and seek to enhance their experience.

As an educational non-profit, the following details are what is the best from our experience:

- Flexibility - The coding in Moodle allows us to even change the names of buttons, items, etc. This went beyond adding our logo or even brand colors. This allowed us to have each student experience be unique to our vocabulary and "look and feel".

- Programs - We leverage Moodle Workplace which allows us to create programs. These are bundled courses or a series of courses that can be packaged together and allow for a seamless experience for our students. This provides so much power with bundles, certificates, and other course groupings. From a student experience - it is all seamlessly connected. This past year, we looked to move from Moodle Workplace to Moodle. Moodle didn't have this functionality so we stayed with Moodle Workplace.

- Branching Scenarios - Moodle allows us to create branching scenarios that provide a student experience in line with a Choose Your Own Adventure. This allows scenario training, feedback, and the opportunity to make new choices. This has been very powerful for us!

- Price - We've looked at a lot of LMS providers and the scaleable and affordable price point of Moodle has us sold. As a non-profit, finances are critical, and having access to a robust system at a solid price point is brilliant!

- Support - I've worked with support tickets before. But the Moodle Support Team is out of this world. Super fast response, research, and help in addressing questions, fixing issues, and walking us through upgrades. Every interaction has been stellar - truly.

- Plug Ins - Want to go farther? Moodle has so many plug ins. We tend to use very few and keep it to the Moodle Core, but the options are there and we review them from time to time. Everyone has a unique situation and that plug in might just make the difference to someone.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

With flexibility comes complexity. Moodle serves a worldwide community. It takes an investment in time to really understand the multitude of settings (most of which we haven't even needed to change or use), but they are there and when we are troubleshooting things - there is a bit of research. (Support has been so helpful, but there is a big ownership piece taking on Moodle - more so than some other LMS providers.)

We all use things differently and with upgrades to address enhancements and changes made to things from the look and feel to how the interface works. Once you get to the point of customizing things it can be challenging when options are taken away. For example, the recent upgrade took away the next button on the screens and moved navigation to a left-hand menu. It seems clunky. An enhancement request has been made by a group looking to return that function. That said, we can use a plug-in to put that back into the functionality. In the end, it would be great to have had the ability to turn it on or off - not just take it away. Once you get used to customizing things - it can be hard when you can't.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a problem of being relevant in the 21st Century. As a non-profit organization that started in 1912 - it happens. Moodle allowed us to jump into the current century (and beyond)! Before that our content was open and it was easy to "take". Now, we have reminders, workflows, and student engagement with videos, articles, case studies, scenarios, assessments, content, and more. This benefits us greatly because we can talk about the experience with our company as a positive one and that the learning experience is one we can fully and honestly recommend. At a time when more and more organizations are doing more with less or even disappearing. We are thriving and growing. We had three employees and even with all the new technology and options - we didn't replace an employee when they left and two of us handle it all. This is a huge benefit to us, the students, and the community.

**Official Response from Made Kanthicha:**

> Hi Andrew,

Thank you so much for sharing your positive experience with Moodle. The flexibility, program creation, branching scenarios and support are indeed some of the key features that set Moodle apart.

Your input is valuable as we continue to improve our platform to serve our users better.

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Moodle is one of the best LMS for any institute, It has everything that an institute needs to run smooth online classes. It is very easy to integrate and friendly to use. I have been using it for quite a long time and have found it most useful. **What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Just one recommendation, templates are very less.

  ### 12. More Customizable for Less $

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Customizable, scalable, lots of integration options

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

UX/UI needs work, more complex than many educators can handle, default settings send way too many emails, requires a lot of assistance for instructors to set up classes

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moodle has customizable options that other LMS don't, all in one platform, "free" (costs time)

**Official Response from Made Kanthicha:**

> Hi,

  ### 13. Pretty powerful LMS for small and large organizations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vicente G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

I appreciate the 4.1 version's easy-to-use interface and abundance of customization tools and options, which, when combined with the reporting tools, offer teachers a great deal of control and flexibility in terms of designing their courses and overseeing their content. Also, its scalability for large organizations when working with a Moodle workspace is quite powerful.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Lots of customization options and tools also imply a steep learning curve for managers. Not too simple self-setup and integrations might require some external services to support your team if the approach gets a little complicated. In any case, there are some very interesting, not too expensive, options to explore.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We train staff and constituents on the same platform. We connect it with other custom systems that we own to manage training and exams related to them.

**Official Response from Made Kanthicha:**

> Hi Vicente,

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Moodle's scalability and customisation tools.

  ### 15. A REVIEW OF MOODLE

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paco S. | Adjunct Lecturer, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Moodle has a nice range of functions, which are very useful.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

The only "dislike" I have concerning Moodle is that I believe its console could benefit from a more faciliatory outlay.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moodle does not, necessarily solve a "problem", as it more functions as a means through which online classes can be facilitated.

**Official Response from Made Kanthicha:**

> Hi Paco,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Moodle. We're pleased to hear that you see its potential.
We are continuously working on improving platform to better meet your evolving needs.

  ### 16. Moodle has its pros and cons!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

I find Moodle's feature of creating and managing online courses while keeping track of student progress to be incredibly convenient and efficient. The ability to offer students the option to take online coursework is especially beneficial, as it allows for flexibility in scheduling and location while still providing a structured learning environment. Additionally, as an instructor, being able to easily monitor student progress and provide feedback in real-time allows for more personalized and effective teaching. Overall, Moodle's online course management system greatly enhances the learning experience for both students and educators alike.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Learning how to use Moodle can be a daunting task due to its vast range of features, making it complex and time-consuming to figure out. Although Moodle is an expansive platform with many capabilities, the process of getting started is not streamlined. Our team spent several months trying to navigate the platform, but fortunately, our Moodle Representatives were patient and kind throughout the process.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By providing students with the option to complete their coursework remotely, we have been able to offer a more flexible learning environment. This will allow us to attract a wider range of students who may otherwise not have been able to attend our courses due to geographical or scheduling constraints.
Moodle has helped us streamline our training process. We no longer have to spend time and resources on finding a suitable location for our courses, nor do we have to worry about creating a schedule that works for everyone. Instead, we can focus on delivering high-quality training content that meets the needs of our students.

**Official Response from Made Kanthicha:**

> Hi,

Thank you for sharing how Moodle has helped you offer a more flexible learning environment and streamline your training process.

Moodle is designed to offer flexibility and adaptability to meet your organisation's unique needs. We are dedicated to improving our platform to provide the best learning experience. Our network of Certified Partners and Service Providers is always available to provide the best assistance and customisations for your needs.

We look forward to contributing to your learning success. Thank you for choosing Moodle, and have a great day!

Thank you,
Moodle Team

  ### 17. Seamless Virtual or Hybrid Learning Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sylvester Zibusiso M. | Co-Founder & Director of Programs, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

It's easy to adopt, set up, integrate, and customise to training needs and provides a dashboard and reporting system that meets my organisations needs. It also has a mobile app making it more accessible even in remote or "on the go" situations. The customer support is also very helpful. I mostly use/engage on the platform for about 4 to 6 months annually due to the nature of the project I am working on.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

None that I can think of at the moment as it is meeting my organisations needs

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Delivery of Training across many countries, time-zones and generating progress reports, as well as being able to interact/follow-up with participants.

**Official Response from Made Kanthicha:**

> Hi Sylvester,

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on Moodle.

Your insights are crucial to us. We're dedicated to continuously improving our platform, and ensuring your Moodle journey is smooth, successful, and fully aligned to your evolving needs.

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

I have been using Moodle for years and have had a positive experience. It is easy to use, there are constant updates with amazing new features and plugins added.
I can customize the look and feel which makes the user experience seamless.
It's an open-source platform, with zero costs - amazing!
I can reach learners in over 15 countries.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

There is nothing that I dislike, I have been using it for years and I am very happy with the functionality that it offers.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By using Moodle, I am able to reach employees in over 15 countries. I use this platform to deploy learning solutions for our employees.
I am very happy with the functionality:
- Enrolling users is easy.
- Uploading courses is easy.
- Drawing reports is easy
I am both a user and an administrator and find it robust and flexible.

**Official Response from Megha Rajan:**

> Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback. At Moodle, we are constantly working on new ways to improve our solutions to deliver the best learning outcomes.

  ### 20. Moodle is the best opensource Learning Management System there is.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simbarashe Z. | Systems Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

It is flexible, configurable, and customizable to your institution's requirements. If you want to integrate it with other systems, it is seamless with their web services APIs. It also comes with a user-friendly mobile application that supports offline content viewing. As an administrator, one thing I like most is that it is widely used and a well-supported system from both the community and its customer desk.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Not exactly a downside but you will still need to invest some dollars to get the best theme or plugins

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing blended learning provides interactive learning content, especially with H5P

**Official Response from Made Kanthicha:**

> Hey Simbarashe,

We wanted to say a huge thank you for sharing your thoughts on Moodle. We're thrilled to hear that you see the potential in our platform! Our team is working tirelessly to make sure that Moodle is always evolving and meeting your needs.

  ### 21. Moodle: powerful and flexible but have an FTE ready to be an admin

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

If you can imagine it, you can probably do it in Moodle! The availability of thousands of plugins means you can adapt your instance of Moodle to just about any need, and the cost of Moodle (free to self-host) means you can spend money on some of the paid plugins. Moodle supports experiential learning models, repetitive practice models, competency-based assessment, points-based grading, learner-centered adaptive teaching, and more. Assessment mechansims include reflective journals, quizzes with dozens of closed- and open-ended question types, discussion forums, shared-knowledge activities (wikis, databases, and glossaries), and multiple, easy-to-integrate plugins from courseware providers and other third parties. Permissions are adaptable at all levels, including highly granular cases. In the U.S., the primary Moodle host (MoodleUS) provides prompt customer support, and works with clients at all levels (from academic adminsitration to engineers).

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

The flexibillity can make standardization hard to achieve, which can be confusing to some learners. Even if your instance is vendor-hosted, you will want at least 1/2 FTE allocated to administer Moodle at your institution.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moodle allows faculty to more efficiently allocate time so they spend less time grading low-Bloom's assessments and more time engaging students in deeper dialogue and assessment.
Moodle provides ways for faculty members to easily share resources among themselves, and from one semester to another.

**Official Response from Megha Rajan:**

> Thank you for taking the time to review our platform. Your feedback is invaluable. At Moodle, we're on a constant journey to improve our solutions for optimal learning outcomes. To check out the latest Moodle version, simply click the link below

  ### 22. Can be messy, but robust

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Moodle is truly a robust LMS. Compared to Brightspace, Bb Learn, and Canvas, it can stand up on it's own and do most anything any other LMS can do (and often more).

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Moodle can be very UNfriendly to users with extra clicks and lots of scrolling. Changes to the platform sometimes improve issues, and sometimes make it worse (such as the new Moodle 4+ activity icons). Moodle is not always administrator-friendly either. Third-part plugins and LTI/API integrations can be a HUGE headache, and any sort of customization to a theme can take hundreds of hours to do (really, very programmer forward on that).

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moodle is a means for managing courses--sharing information, assessment, and course management-- at our University.

**Official Response from Made Kanthicha:**

> Hi,

We appreciate you taking the time to review Moodle. It's great to know that you find Moodle to be robust LMS.

**Reviewed by:** Nellie D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

I like the activities. Ease of use as the administrator

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

That learning curve that teachers face. The need to constantly refer to videos or explanations on how to use it. The layout seems to scare them.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a teacher educator, so it helps me teach.

**Official Response from Made Kanthicha:**

  ### 24. Virtual Learning Environment

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giacomo O. | E-learning Manager and Music Lecturer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Moodle is an extremely flexible virtual learning environment. The open source nature of the platform, coupled with the amazing online commuiuty of users makes it a really powerful tool to develop onpoine and blended learning courses.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

THe UX is not that great out of the box; it does require a lot of customisation to make it ussable to a modern web standars. Some of the navigation logic can be confusing and there are way too many options to grapple with.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moodle allows us to manage and run 100+ courses from undergraduate to post gradute both on campus and completely online. It's the main hub of our delivery within the institution. We also make great use of the H5P integration to add interactive web elements without the need to code a single line.

  ### 25. Product training through Moodle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jishma B. | Junior Ecommerce Executive, Luxury Goods & Jewelry, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Good Customer support
Easy to integrate
Easy to setup
Good for regular use
Have option to integrate with our digital credential software

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Moodle is with a great bunch of features so nothing to dislike on it

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps to do our product training through Moodle. Can add quiz and gives a better learning experience to our customers

**Official Response from Made Kanthicha:**

> Hi Jishma,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Moodle. We're pleased to hear that Moodle is helping to enhance learning experiences for your customers.
We continuously work on improving the platform to meet your evolving needs.

  ### 26. Powerful and flexible

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

A fresh Moodle installation gives you an easy way to create courses and sign up students. But that is really only the beginning, as Moodle is one of the most powerful and flexible learning management systems out there. Almost everything is configurable, and there are plenty of plugins available to add even more functionality.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

As usual, with flexibility comes complexity. If you want to do something outside the box with Moodle, the good news is that you'll almost certainly be able to do it! But you'll have to take the time to learn how Moodle works, first.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moodle has great multi-langugage support, which has been lacking in other solutions we've tried. We also like how many options there are for student account creation. The option to do things in bulk (like create student accounts or enroll students in classes)with .csv uploads can save a lot of time. Support for custom roles and permissions enables us to allow employees, teachers and admins access to the things they need without giving them the keys to the kingdom.

**Official Response from Megha Rajan:**

> We sincerely appreciate your time and effort in reviewing our platform. Your feedback is of utmost importance to us. At Moodle, we are dedicated to continually enhancing our solutions to achieve the best possible learning outcomes. If you have any technical questions, please do not hesitate to contact Moodle Partners for assistance.

  ### 27. Moodle Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** AVISHEK P. | MR , Law Practice, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Navigation of the tools and communication with the member.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

The new interface that was recently adopted in 2023. It is quite complex and not as simple as the previous look.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To give huge companies to train and supply with necessary material at one. This softwar is most lued by the universities.

**Official Response from Made Kanthicha:**

  ### 28. E-Learning through moodle

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** PATEL S. | Lecturer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

We are used Moodle as a learning software in our organisation. Model is very useful software for education institute and colleges for students as well as faculties. And with the help of model we can conduct online test for the students performance and student will directly see the result of the exam directly in to login page. Also we can upload the study material in Moodle software where student can directly see that materials and study properly.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

I would dislike about moodle is that limited function while login through the mobile and there will be a problem while we can assect the assignment of the student and do the grading of the assessment.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Almost Moodle is solving all types of problem like question bank videos online MCQ exam and many more. Student also see the marks of the MCQ exam. And with the help of model the students are understand all the things that a teachers will be a upload.

  ### 29. Moodle is our trusted LSM

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Betania M. | Director Marketing Strategy, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

We conceive open source products as much as possible. Although we don't use it that often, the component analysis feature for quizzes is an exceptionality that is not available in quite a few knowledge management systems. Moodle's large-scale, active and strong community is a great advantage for the platform. It is possible to be assured that plugins will be tested, and in the event that you want to do a specific thing, it is very likely that someone else has already thought about it. In conclusion, it is evidenced and proven to be sincere. too many newer knowledge management systems appear to be nice, however many of the features that are stated are not true in their entirety. The Moodle course of action was executed and had the occasion to educate itself on what is effective and what is flawed, plus made many refinements.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

As with any knowledge management program, there are features I would like to see, that is, the ability to group classes at different levels of study at the same time. Newer knowledge management systems may have a simpler home screen to use. Moodle has a wide variety of design abilities, however a lot of customization is likely to be complicated. There are a number of features that it may be easy to leave out the accuracy of where objects are.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We found that for us it offers the greatest variety of possibilities in an LMS and has been used in order to meet various needs, both for us and for our users. Undoubtedly, there are simpler solutions that do not require such a learning curve. If your requirements are very elementary, you may want to place it somewhere else. However, Moodle is very adept at progressing from the smallest to the largest tasks, and there are several hosts that offer excellent support.

  ### 32. Moodle has tons of functionalities, but needs a better UI!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

It's pretty straightforward to navigate around. However, when there's so much information in one page, it gets a bit tricky. Could do with some UI enhancements here and there.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

The UI and UX, can be made a bit better.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moodle is being extensively used by us at our UNI as a LMS software. It is extremely beneficial as it acts as a single source of truth across all things academics with all the information available at one place.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Moodle is fairly simple to maintain and easy for students and teachers to utilize. It's quite customizable and a good programming team can integrate software with it.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Support for Moodle from third parties is sometimes lacking in comparison to Blackboard and Canvas. However, it has support from the third parties that count such as major textbook publishers McGrawHill and Cengage.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moodle gives our school a reliable place for teachers and students to access course materials online.

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

Moodle is very user friendly and is very easy to provide support for when users have issues.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

When there are issues with it, it can be a bit of a needle in a haystack kind of hunt to determine what is wrong with the site.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As the UI for Moodle is getting updated, the ease of use and modernization of Moodle has steadily increased as well.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** PintRaj K. | web developer, E-Learning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

The artichtutre of the Learning management system, It have he multiple option like to upload the video, audio, and provide the assignment to student and it have the quiz options and many more

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

The plugin and the themes are available in limited only , and most of the developer wont work on moodle as its coding part have some complication to develop

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't need much time to develop and deploy the learning management system. With moodle i can install it in 5-10 mins on my server. And the installing part will also be easy for not tech persons.

**Official Response from Made Kanthicha:**

  ### 38. Great way to get information to students

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

I like that it has an online grading function, the ability to create and submit assignments through links, an announcement forum, the ability to create posts and respond to blogs and the ability to separate and selectively release modules.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

I've used Moodle across several insitutions. I think the amount of time between grading can be frustrating and a large user error. A special notification system specifically for grading may be in place already but I think if it is, it's not unique enough to really push grading quickly.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem was when COVID happened, all collegiate learning became online learning. We weren't able to use in person so this format takes the place of a lot of in person interactions.

**Official Response from Megha Rajan:**

> Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback. At Moodle, we are constantly working on new ways to improve our solutions to deliver the best learning outcomes. We have introduced an improved grading interface and grading changes in the latest release, with more changes coming in the upcoming release. It is an excellent educational instrument. It enables topic administration, and numerous applications range from posting the most varied multimedia material. ### 48. Excellent Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

It has revolutionized how we deliver a non-educational project that involves higher education. We've been able to scale and transform our delivery model because of Moodle. Our account rep is amazing and incredibly attentive.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

The update frequency and changes between updates are a little clunky. Some of the updates have reversed features we've used that we have to re-adapt and figure out.

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We leverage Moodle to deliver a 5-year project to higher education clients. It has allowed us to provide a centralized platform that our users are familiar with to deliver project content.

**Official Response from Megha Rajan:**

> We sincerely appreciate your time and effort in reviewing our platform. Your feedback is of utmost importance to us. At Moodle, we continually enhance our solutions to achieve the best possible learning outcomes. To check out the latest Moodle version, simply click the link below.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Moodle?**

I have found that Moodle works in a very similar manner to its competitiors, such as Canvas, but what sets it apart are 1) the price and 2) the outstanding customer service I receive from the company employees.

**What do you dislike about Moodle?**

Sometimes the interface is not as intuitive and user-friendly as I would like. However, it is easy to find the solution in Moodle Docs or even Google if I ever have questions

**What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moodle is not necessarily solving a problem. I am a college professor and use Moodle to teach online courses and provide professional learning.
