They are not using common ISO8583 format rather using spdh. **What do you dislike about Moneris Gateway?** As they don't have any simulators which can tell us what is wrong in transaction, we need to connect then everytime, also for timeout testing we need to connect them on call everytime. **What problems is Moneris Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you?** I just did the acquirer side development and certification. Generating my token was very straightforward and the reply from the server was easy to parse and use. **What do you dislike about Moneris Gateway?** People without much financial education could have a slight problem reading the online documentation needed to understand what the reply values represent. You can blindly trust Moneris **What problems is Moneris Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am using moneris to take payments over the phone for clients who are not able to access it online. The benefits are multiple, first of all, it is secure and does not save your card information. Second, moneris is a trusted platform that is around for many years. ### 8. It is a great payment platform because it is a direct processor I do not have to worry even if my payments are held or my account is frozen. It is very easy to access I can even use it on my iPad as it turns into POS terminal this helps me in processing but also to keep a track and manage customer information. **What do you dislike about Moneris Gateway?** It is a great platform but very expensive and sometimes not in the affordable range. I don’t they have deducted terminal fee directly from my account without giving any kind of information on notification before deducting it. **What problems is Moneris Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you?** Provide me with different scalable options have helped in my business to grow. I find that the customer support response of this platform is very very good and available 24/7 because I had great help from them when I was starting it out and did not know how to use this platform perfectly. ### 10. I'm waiting days without response on the community forum. Also, no response to my e-mail sent to support. Good providers of paid software moderate their community forums and provide answers. But, most questions on Moneris product forum are not answered (including questions posted years ago). ### 11. We wanted our customers to feel comfortable with providing a payment to us, with Moneris this was not a problem. ### 12. I found mistakes easy to fix and the shortcuts easy to remember. Any updates were very straight forward and similar to older systems. **What do you dislike about Moneris Gateway?** Search functions were often strange and you had to guess on key words.
