Is MobiOffice free, or does it offer a free trial?

Who is MobiOffice pricing best suited for?

MobiOffice's pricing is best suited for small businesses and individual users seeking a free or low-cost Microsoft Office alternative with offline capability. G2 reviewers from small business segments in marketing, education, and writing consistently praise MobiOffice for delivering core productivity tools without subscription costs. Mid-market reviewers in education management, computer software, and healthcare also report strong satisfaction, particularly valuing mobile access and cross-platform compatibility. MobiOffice's pricing structure is less compelling for enterprise teams needing deep collaboration features or full Microsoft Office parity, as several enterprise-segment G2 reviewers note missing advanced features. Budget-constrained teams prioritizing offline access and MS Office file compatibility get the clearest value.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of MobiOffice?

G2 reviewers of MobiOffice consistently highlight that core document creation in Word-compatible formats, offline file access, and basic spreadsheet and presentation tools are available free. The primary paid gate is PDF editing, with multiple G2 users explicitly calling it a premium-only feature. One reviewer notes PDFs are paid while text editing is free. The free tier includes 5GB of MobiDrive cloud storage, which at least one reviewer flagged as insufficient. MobiOffice's paid tiers unlock full PDF capabilities, advanced editing features, and expanded cloud storage. A 7-day trial of premium features exists, though G2 reviewers note it is ad-supported and difficult to evaluate under those conditions.

Is MobiOffice considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers broadly regard MobiOffice as strong value, particularly against Microsoft Office. Multiple reviewers across small business and mid-market segments cite cost savings as a primary benefit, with several explicitly noting free offline document editing that rivals paid alternatives. G2 reviews of MobiOffice highlight free assets and core document creation at no cost as standout differentiators. Recurring cons include PDF editing locked behind a premium tier and subscription costs flagged as slightly high by enterprise users. One civil engineering reviewer noted premium pricing as a concern. Overall, MobiOffice's pricing earns high satisfaction ratings, averaging 4.4/5 across G2 reviewers, making it a credible value pick for budget-conscious teams.

"MobiOffice: Fluid and Familiar Alternative to MS Office"
4/5
What do you like best about MobiOffice?

I like MobiOffice because it is an excellent alternative to MS Office, especially for those who want to keep files offline or online with familiarity with other Office software. The function of allowing offline files on the computer, which I wasn't able to do with Google Docs, is quite useful. Additionally, I appreciate the similarity to Microsoft Office, and I found the initial setup very easy and smooth. I don't see much difference except for the fact that we have offline files without needing to pay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
