"Powerful Funnel Visualization and AI Insights That Save Time"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Miro?

One of the most valuable aspects for me is the ability to visualize customer funnels for specific campaigns. Having a clear view of the customer journey helps me better understand engagement, identify drop-off points, and optimize campaign performance based on real data.

I also appreciate the AI capabilities, especially when preparing and facilitating workshops. The AI-driven insights and recommendations help me work more efficiently, generate ideas faster, and make complex data easier to interpret.

Another feature I use regularly is the variety of charts, tables, and visual reports. These make it much easier to analyze results, communicate findings to stakeholders, and create compelling presentations. What surprised me most is how much time these visualizations save compared to manually gathering and formatting data, allowing me to focus more on strategy and decision-making rather than reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

While Miro is a powerful collaboration and visualization tool, there are a few areas where it could improve. Large boards can sometimes become overwhelming, especially when multiple teams contribute content over time, making it harder to maintain structure and find information quickly.

Performance can also be an issue on very complex boards with many elements, images, and integrations, which may occasionally impact loading times and navigation. Additionally, while Miro offers many features, new users can face a learning curve before they feel comfortable using advanced capabilities efficiently.

Another challenge is that maintaining governance and consistency across boards requires clear team practices. Without agreed templates or standards, workshops and projects can become fragmented.

That said, these drawbacks are generally outweighed by the value Miro provides for collaboration, workshop facilitation, brainstorming, and visualizing customer journeys and campaign performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Miro is solving one of the biggest challenges in workshops and cross-functional projects: effective team collaboration. It provides a shared visual workspace where everyone can contribute ideas, feedback, and action items in real time, regardless of location.

For me, this is especially valuable during workshops. Instead of relying on multiple documents, emails, or screenshots, all participants can collaborate in one place, making brainstorming sessions more engaging and productive. Features like sticky notes, diagrams, and templates help structure discussions and ensure everyone's input is captured.

The result is faster alignment, better visibility of ideas, and more efficient decision-making. Miro also makes it easier to summarize outcomes and share them with stakeholders afterward, reducing follow-up work and helping teams move from ideas to action more quickly. "Miro keeps us in Sync!"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Miro?

I believe Miro is one of the best collaboration tools available. We have been using it every day for years, and it consistently helps make our teamwork smoother and more productive.

We use Miro to review art and UI, present plans and timelines, and run team retrospectives. I also find the templates especially useful, as they help us set up boards and workflows much faster.

Another major benefit is that multiple team members can draw, sketch, add comments, and contribute simultaneously, which makes collaboration much more efficient and engaging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

There is nothing I particularly dislike about Miro. However, I believe there are a few areas that could be improved:

More varied templates: It would be useful to add more templates within each category, especially for planning, timelines, and retrospectives. There is already a good selection, but after using the strongest one or two options, many of the remaining templates feel repetitive or like slight variations of the same concept.

A more capable AI assistant: The AI assistant is a promising feature, but its functionality still needs improvement to fully live up to its name. At the moment, it feels more like a tool for quickly finding existing features rather than an AI assistant that can help users solve problems, generate ideas, or approach questions with more creative, out-of-the-box thinking.

Better feature discovery: Some features could be promoted more effectively. For example, Miro could occasionally offer short, step-by-step tutorials that introduce users to features they are not currently using. I regularly use a specific set of tools, so it would be helpful to receive occasional guidance on other relevant features and possibilities. These recommendations could also be personalized based on each user’s activity, although that would be an optional enhancement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Since our team is fully remote, Miro is one of the main places where we align and collaborate! We also use other communication and project management tools, but when it comes to detailed, visual work, Miro provides the most value. For me, this is its biggest overall benefit.

Examples:

I may create a project plan in Asana, but I also present it visually in Miro so everyone can better understand what needs to be completed in each game iteration, how tasks depend on one another, and what the full scope looks like across all departments.

Our producer often records a video explaining the key focus areas for an upcoming development period and presents the supporting information in Miro. The new feature that allows users to do this directly within Miro feels like a natural continuation of a workflow we have already been using for some time.

Our regular art and UI reviews also take place in Miro. At the beginning of each review meeting, the first thing we do is open the relevant board and check the latest updates from the teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowering Collaboration Through Visual Innovation"

5/5

What do you like best about Miro?

What I like best about Miro is how it makes collaboration simple, interactive, and visual. It allows people to brainstorm, organize ideas, and work together in real time, whether they are in the same room or collaborating remotely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

One thing I dislike about Miro is that some of its most useful features are only available on paid plans, which can be limiting for students, educators, and community groups with small budgets. New users may also find the interface a bit overwhelming at first because there are many tools and options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Miro solves the challenge of organizing ideas and collaborating effectively, especially when people are working on group projects or brainstorming sessions. Instead of relying on scattered notes or multiple documents, Miro provides a single visual workspace where everyone can contribute, organize ideas, and track progress together. As a student at RICA and a Miro Meetup Ambassador, this has helped me facilitate more interactive workshops, improve teamwork among participants, and make learning more engaging. It has also enabled me to guide students in turning ideas into clear plans, which is especially valuable for innovation and problem-solving activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It Transformed Our Real-Time Collaboration, But With Challenges in Sharing"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Miro?

I really like the design of Miro's post-it. This is specific because, even with a large amount of information, they always remain square, maintaining the same size, which makes it much easier for me to organize. So, I use post-its for various things, like flows, because sometimes it's more practical and faster. It works well especially when I need to prototype quickly. It's not so much about using it online, which other tools also do, but specifically about the layout of the post-its. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

What doesn't work for me with Miro is sharing with the business area, because they don't have an account on Miro. When I need to conduct workshops, I have to use a free account, which is terrible because I can only include non-confidential information. This forces me to use Figma Jam, which allows the project to be open for 24 hours. Working in such a large company, it's impractical to have Miro for everyone, especially in the business area, so I end up switching between tools, which is not ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Miro:

Go on and try for yourself and your team; you won't be disappointed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Miro to organize workflows, workshops, and training in design. It facilitates real-time collaboration, providing a comprehensive and accessible view of the team's progress, which is essential for our remote work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Diagram Workflows with Outstanding Partnership Support"

4/5

What do you like best about Miro?

In a large organization, where some users may not be comfortable with every new technology, the UI/UX feels intuitive and approachable. The diagram-based experience is easy to understand and helps teams quickly engage with content and workflows. One of the biggest improvements we've seen is in large workshop and meeting sessions. Moving from a static review process to a truly collaborative workspace has significantly increased team engagement and participation.

Additionally, the support provided through our partnership has been outstanding. The team offers valuable visibility into both current and upcoming features, actively listens to feedback, and is always available to answer questions or discuss ideas. Staying informed about new enhancements helps us continuously improve the way we work and maximize the value we get from the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

I've been using AI capabilities in Miro since they were first introduced. While Sidekick is an impressive feature and already provides significant value, I feel it still requires some refinement before it becomes truly seamless for everyday use.

In my experience, it often takes several iterations to achieve the desired result, or a substantial amount of context for the tool to fully understand the intended action. That said, I believe it has strong potential to become a very powerful assistant. Its ability to understand board content and generate artifacts such as documents, diagrams, and other supporting materials could significantly enhance productivity and collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?

The platform has evolved tremendously through continuous improvements, and application performance across several versions, and what stands out most is how closely the Miro team listens to its customers. Seeing some of our feedback implemented in the product has been particularly rewarding, as it directly supports the way we work and helps us achieve more every day.

Their support has also been instrumental in integrating our work item management system with Miro, enabling us to run Scrum sessions directly from the board while working seamlessly with our backlog and tasks. This has greatly improved team collaboration and performance allowing our company to get the most of this partnership saving money and time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro Makes Team Collaboration So Much Easier"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Miro?

What I like most about Miro is how easy it makes teamwork, specially when planning events, hackathons, and workshops. The infinite canvas, sticky notes, mind maps, and ready-made templates help us organize ideas much faster than using docs or slides.

The UI is clean and simple, so even first-time users can start using it without much learning. I also like that it integrates with tools we already use, and the performance has always been smooth even with multiple people editing together. Recently, the AI features have been really helpful for summarizing ideas and creating diagrams quickly. Overall, Miro has saved our team a lot of time and made collaboration feel much more natural. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

One thing I don't like is that some advanced features are only available in the paid plans, so it can be a bit limiting for students or small communities with a tight budget. Also, when a board becomes very large with lots of images and sticky notes, it sometimes feels a little slow to navigate, but overall it hasn't been a major issue for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Miro helps us solve the problem of scattered ideas and unorganized collaboration. Instead of switching between multiple tools, our team can brainstorm, plan projects, map workflows, and work together in one shared space. This has made our event planning and workshops much more organized, improved communication, and saved us a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro Powers Flexible Collaboration in Remove Offices From Ideation to Polished Presentations"

5/5

What do you like best about Miro?

I own a completely virtual architecture firm. Miro allows us to collaborate creatively in a flexible format across time zones. I love that it can be super loose for ideation and processing ideas, to polished formal presentations on the other, and everything in between. The AI feature to extrapolate stickies is perfect for research we do. Pricing is totally fair for all the features. Performance is strong with very large, content heavy boards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

There's not much not to like. I'm waiting for the day when Miro is seamlessly integrated into ChatGPT AI Agents. But as a product itself it's pretty killer. Perhaps the sharing feature - my team finds it difficult to invite guests to boards without inadvertently adding them to our account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Miro solves the challenge of collaborating remotely in a design heavy profession like architecture. The flexibility in how people contribute to the design process is also great. In-office design is often influenced most heavily by people comfortable speaking up about their ideas. Miro allows us to hear all voices by offering options: written, sketched, visual, spoken, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro- An Easy Place For Creative Reference and Plan."

3.5/5

What do you like best about Miro?

I use Miro with my team to layout our digital plan for the year and that's where we reference all the creative assets that were handed off. Something that I really like about Miro is how easy it is to download assets. There has been multiple occasions where I had to download an asset we used in the past and this was very convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

I wish Miro had more design options on boards. By design I mean it would be nice if we could spec frames when dropping them in the board to make sure it's on the right dimensions and it would be nice if we could crop stuff inside of the frame. It would be also good if when downloading an asset, Miro allowed us the option on what file type we want to download (jpg, png, svg, etc...) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?

On the scope of what I do on Miro and my role, Miro helps a lot with the organization and visiblity of all assets we have used throughout the year. It's a great reference for all the team on everything we have used through the year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro Makes Collaboration and Client Presentations Highly Visual and Engaging"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Miro?

Miro is a highly functional, visual, and engaging collaboration platform that is ideal for both internal team workflows and client-facing presentations. It enables teams to efficiently organize information, capture insights, facilitate ideation sessions, and define products and solutions in a collaborative environment.

Additionally, Miro serves as an excellent medium for presenting the final deliverables of a complete design process to clients. Its extensive set of visual and interactive features makes complex information easier to understand, improves stakeholder engagement, and enhances the overall presentation of content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

One aspect of Miro that I believe could be significantly improved is its integration with third-party software. At times, the integration process can be frustrating, as some connections require multiple complex steps before Miro can successfully communicate with external platforms. A more streamlined and intuitive integration experience would greatly enhance usability.

Another area for improvement is synchronization reliability. There are occasions when you spend a considerable amount of time documenting or creating content, and due to synchronization issues, the work is lost when the board attempts to sync again. Improving the platform’s synchronization stability and preventing data loss would make Miro a much more dependable tool for collaborative work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?

One business challenge that Miro addresses exceptionally well is simplifying the way projects are presented while making presentations more dynamic and collaborative. It enables multiple users to participate simultaneously, turning everyone into active contributors rather than passive viewers. Thanks to its multidisciplinary set of tools, every participant can collaborate, share ideas, and add value throughout the presentation and project development process. "Powerful daily collaboration hub with great docs, embeds, and easy onboarding"

5/5

What do you like best about Miro?

I like to document all of our reearch (human and AI augmented) - specifically the documents have been super useful. Some features I really value is being able to embed tables, images, format text, etc.

I am slightly disconnected to the pricing, but we certainly do overall as a company. We share ideas, collaborate and use it as a company every day. It is our "power station" that collates everything internal and external to our customers.

Performance is great mostly, but when you embed images for competitor analysis, add stickiness AND research for a project, it gets really slow and people are unable to open it quickly and slows down their machine. Optimisation here would be well received. Especially for excessive users like us.

I integrate Claude Code to help collate reseaech in a digestible way when it is tasks that just require formatting a disucussion I have already had in claude. It is great for that.

No complaints on Support / onboparding. Super easy to use.

I would say though, please build folders at "spaces" level this is the only gripe is organisation of docs gets really trricky at our usage.

I have used some AI features but honestly I prefer just using claude AI inside and let it use Miro for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

No folder structure within Spaces. We have 10's of spaces for different clients or projects and I need a way to better organise my Miro Boards within them. Right now we work around it with naming conventions but this is really frustration (organisation wide)

Boards can get really slow really quickly once you start adding lots of documents, stickinotes and especially screenshots or images. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?

It solves the middle man problem. It consolodates everything into one "control room" and allows us to present, ideate and plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
