Customer support is very fast, usually responding the same day. The web editor is helpful because it lets my non-technical colleagues contribute to the documentation without friction. I also really like the metrics—especially the AI assistant logs—since they help me spot gaps in our documentation. The team is also responsive when it comes to adding new features to the platform. GitLab integration took a while to get up and running. After the first year, there was a drastic price hike, although they were willing to negotiate. What problems is Mintlify solving and how is that benefiting you? Mintlify is very active in the AI space, focusing on how AI ingests documentation and how to best serve that documentation to AI users, such as agents. It’s incredibly easy to use, with a beautiful out-of-the-box design. The MCP server is especially useful, and I really appreciate how reliable the Git synchronization is. I’ve been able to keep my old workflow for the most part, which is a big plus and a real differentiator compared to other vendors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Mintlify? AI credits are easily the worst part about Mintlify. They really do not go far, even for mid-sized organizations. It’s too bad, because we’re not able to take full advantage of all the platform’s features without paying additional money. I do think this affects Mintlify’s value proposition, as its features, even when paying Enterprise pricing, are locked behind a paywall. A minor thing, too, is I wish there were more detailed logs when the build on the Mintlify dashboard fails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Mintlify solving and how is that benefiting you? Mintlify is helping us serve AI-native documentation. Our documentation is now accessible via MCP, and has a on-site chatbot (although the chatbot is affected by credit limitations).
