Microsoft Quick Assist is used to help the end users remotely. It's easy to take remote access of the computer of the end user and resolve any IT issues. One thing I like about Quick Assist is it's completely free software and is compatible with both Windows 10 and 11.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Quick Assist?**

It doesn't always work, we have whitelisted the all Microsoft remote access URLs still it's being blocked somewhere. There no support from Microsoft as it is a default application. Quick Assist does not offer file transfers, in contrast to most remote support products! you can't even do a basic copy and paste of text in either direction!
Any attempt to execute an operation (install, configure, etc.) requiring administrative access results in a completely blank screen and requires approval from the person on the other end.

**What problems is Microsoft Quick Assist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us by enabling the remote access to end user VDIs from our VDI, it's a lot better than taking control in MS Teams. It's helping us to take the realtime control of the User computer and help them in resolving their VDI issues. Although we face some issues when it comes to admin installations and all it still is useful.

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Microsoft Quick Assist?**

The best thing I liked about Microsoft quick assist is, that it is free to use and you don't have to install it externally as it is pre-installed by default in Microsoft windows supported versions. Also, it supports multiple machines on a target machine and gives us the privilege to decide whether we want to view a selected screen or view all at once.

Microsoft QuickAssist is the inbuilt remote access tool of Windows 10 and Windows 11, which is totally free of cost. What I like most about QuickAssist it, that it is very lightweight and doesn't need installation separately. Also, you can quickly launch it by pressing Windows+ctrl+Q keys. The screen quality of the remote PC looks clear and lag free.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Quick Assist?**

There are plenty of things that I dislike about QuickAssist. One of them is that you can't use shortcuts from the host PC to the remote PC directly, you would have to paste the content in the quickassist text transfer box and then send it to the other pc and then copy the text from the other PC. Also, what I don't like about QuickAssist is that it doesn't have any option to transfer files between the PCs. It doesn't have the option to control the color quality and streaming quality as well which might have helped the users with low internet speeds. Also, there should not be any restriction to use Microsoft account to assist the others. Rest of the things are good.
