"MS Project is powerful and easy to use tool that helps to track my projects progress."
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Project Server?

The most helpful thing about Microsoft Project is, MSP is the most user-friendly project progress tracking software that I have used. The reason for the user-friendliness is that we all use Excel in our daily life. I feel that Microsoft Project is an Advanced level of Excel with more features that is related to Project tracking and progress capturing. Also, Microsoft Project allows to bring data from Excel. What do you dislike about Microsoft Project Server?

Microsoft Project is not available on mobile. Hence users will not be able to provide site progress through mobile. So, In perspective of Site usage, Mobile application of Microsoft is highly required. Another drawback of Microsoft Project is that, After preparing the schedule, Planned percentage of work is unknown. Users are allowed to enter the percentage completion against the activities but it would be useful if planned percentage field is introduced in the Microsoft project. Provides a single point to access all projects within the company or teams. Also invaluable from an archival standpoint. Ability for any of us to review past projects to get insights on current projects or projects that we maybe working on a proposal for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Project Server?

The cost for utilizing this server licensing can be on the high side for business implementation. This maybe viewed by smaller companies as cost prohibitive. Hopefully they will reevaluate in the near future and see that they can capitalize on the market through increased growth capturing a larger segment of the market.
