## Microsoft OneNote Reviews
  ### 1. Microsoft OneNote

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruth Y. | Financial Analysis Manager, Spain+France, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I love this system since it allows for easy and quick registration and reporting of the regular meetings of ours and actual commentary of all sorts.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I did not like the point that the videos were tough to place and the prior version was incompatible with the update.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

This specific system is great in case you wish to gather the notes of yours in a concentrated manner. I kept on having a specific notebook with me, but today I just use the bookmarks in OneNote for reports/traces, etc. You are able to save trees by using much less paper and having all you need at your finger tip.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I attempt to create these pages readily available to individuals that love them so that they can easily see them at the press of a switch.

  ### 2. A tool to organize all your notes in one place

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Renan M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

OneNote is a simple tool that allows for easy synchronization between devices. There are several great features in the software such as the "dictate" and "draw" function, however the notepad function is sufficient to meet my needs.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

It is difficult to find problems in such simple software. I had performance problems on an old Windows Phone on which I used OneNote but today this is no longer true on any new phone. Something that can improve is the system of tables that could have more complex functions.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

If you only need to store texts for short periods of time, the Microsoft Office suite excel or even Windows Notepad is sufficient. However, OneNote is much more than that. OneNote makes everything easier when synchronizing data between different devices and has great functions such as "dictating" that adapts very well to use on a mobile device in addition to facilitating sharing and collaboration between users.
I don't think Microsoft OneNote can replace project management software, however it remains a great work tool.
I recommend that you test the version for mobile devices, being able to store information quickly on a cell phone and making it available in your Windows environment is the main advantage of using OneNote.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I started using Microsoft OneNote as an alternative to write down information and get organized on mobile devices. After that, I also started using it on windows, since it is possible to synchronize notes between different devices and share this information with other users.

  ### 3. Microsoft OneNote Review

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlie S. | Clinical Information Manager (CIM), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I like how Microsoft OneNote allowed me to upload my lectures and take notes alongside them as I listened to the lecture.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I dislike how Microsoft OneNote would occasionally delete my notes or take a very long time to bring up my notes.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft OneNote offered me an opportunity to arrange my notes in a cohesive way during a chaotic period in graduate school. It allowed me to upload powerpoints and write directly on them via the computer.

  ### 4. One of the best tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

It’s literally a virtual notebook where you can store and organize information to have in one central place

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Not a thing- I wish I had found this sooner!

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Really great system, absolutely would recommend to solve some of the many issues of being virtual/remote

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centrally locating information, virtual note taking

  ### 5. Excellent Place to Organize Notes for Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

One note gives me a single place to store notes about accounts, email templates etc. Great place to customize, easy to collaborate and share with co-workers. I use it for everything from meeting notes, social media, client account notes. It's easy to use and one of my favorite tools

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I wish it integrated with Salesforce, would make it easier to transfer notes rather than copy and paste

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

It's easy to use for a variety of different roles and needs

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gives me a single place to organize my book of business, streamlines work flows such as email and messaging templates

  ### 6. Miscrosoft OneNote keeps me organized and efficient!!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

The ability to quickly take, organize and review notes. We use OneNote for our process manuals and documentation. The efficiency that provides is invaluable.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

The web version leaves something to be desired. Features are lacking and the interface tends to be clunky.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

This is an easy to use application that provides quick results and benefits. Give it a try, there's no way that you'll be disappointed!!

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use OneNote across our teams as the source for our documentation. This allows for real-time updates and up-to-date reference material for our support teams. This is the greatest benefit we've realized by far.

  ### 7. Best notes keeping software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bibi G. | Frond end Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

It is nice to be able to create a page that contains a lot of information. It is quite user friendly. This mobile application is designed very smartly, and the user interface changes according to the screen's orientation and resolution, showing more precise commands as needed. It retains Microsoft's classic look, so if you know MS Word, that's easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I've not had an aversion to Microsoft Onenote so far. She did everything I told her to do, and I used Microsoft OneNote program for a period of 12 months I think, and nothing showed up in particular.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

I'd recommend it to someone who wants to. Even in the free version it is very good to be successful.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Complete your tasks and prepare ahead so you can meet your goals every day.

  ### 8. Very Convenient and Intuituve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

What I like best about Microsoft OneNote is that, being a Microsoft product, it is very intuitive to use and easy to use (and save/update) across multiple platforms. I love being able to access my notes on any device (desktop computer, laptop/tablet, and mobile device) and the format is always the same.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

There is not much I can say I dislike about OneNote - if anything, I would say there are not enough options for personalization. I would prefer to have more options for silly things like different background colors, different fonts, different formatting options (rather than the standard title sections and text boxes). There are a fair number of personalization options, and I would say the options are sufficient, but I would love the program a little more if I had more "fun" options.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

I think the most important thing to consider is availability; OneNote is likely to come pre-installed on any machine or device employees are using - both business and personal devices. Not having to download anything extra makes a lot of people more likely to "buy-in" to its use. Also since a lot of people are already familiar with the format, layout, and use of Microsoft products there should not be much need for training on this product, even for brand new users.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem being solved is the ability to transfer notes across multiple platforms and always being able to access the most current versions of my notes, and update them from anywhere. There are many benefits, but I would say the biggest one is that OneNote prevents me from misplacing or losing handwritten notes, which I used to do frequently. Having all of my notes saved automatically helps me appear a lot more professional and prepared for different meetings and questions.

  ### 9. Microsoft OneNote review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Super fast, versatile and fluid, saves work on the fly.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

It’s a bit old fashioned - looks like html text

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Use it - better than Evernote and the rest

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use onenote to solidify my workflow and streamline my notes

  ### 10. One for all Notes "OneNote"

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deepika B. | Design Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Its so comfortable to make notes, even Images can be saved.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I didn't found anything which is not likable.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Its like all in one. We can save images tables and many more. Automatic Saving is available, no need to save every time. I will suggest One Note whole heartedly.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making important points during client meetings. Saving images.

  ### 11. Great Tool that Could Be Used for Project Work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civil Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

There is great potential to keep everything in one location without losing parts, pieces, etc.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

It is geared more for students whereas it could be used for businesses that provide consulting services, which could make it more powerful. The same token, sometimes everything is together and if you don't want someone seeing everything, it will all be in that one location.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping everything in one location. The benefits are that everything is maintained in one location and therefore, nothing is lost along the way of the project. I've used this at other companies on projects and it worked well.

  ### 12. Microsoft OneNote

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike E. | Business Unit Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I like to arrange my notes, and keep them by their name. It serves as a daily record in the notebook which I use as a journal, too. The notes are organized with details, so you can easily find them where you need them.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Perhaps the software has a issue and changes the format selected for the file it can yet be easily recovered and fixed.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

And that's the most reasonable place to record, although because data itself is not secured, it will entail a way of recovering what can be overwritten. Updating your OneNote laptop can also take too long, if you add too many new cards.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had to turn off my laptop, allowing my Incase account to conveniently take notes / reflect and synchronize.

  ### 13. Best for work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Writing and Editing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I like the fact that I can open OneNote on various devices and continue working.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

The one dislike I do have is that it takes a while to sync.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Make sure to sync.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to write down ideas as needed

  ### 14. Perfect Notes taking fot meetings as well as classes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gaurav S. | R, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

So many integration options like teams, outlook, and Gmail.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

You can click anywhere on the page, which makes it somewhat less attractive notes wise. It's not like a general page.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Perfect for notes taking and making personal notes

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meeting notes, Team collaborative notes, To-do list and task tracking

  ### 15. Microsoft OneNote

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas D. | CRM Jr. Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I really like the way it synchronizes all the devices with the same Microsoft account, which makes it so fast. I often use OneNote on my computer and iPad simultaneously, my computer to take a note and my iPad to draw or highlight important information.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Sometimes formatting options are limited.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

It is particularly valuable to scientists as an advanced tool for creating recordings/video.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OneNote is very useful when synchronization between devices is almost instantaneous. This solves the cooperation problem.

  ### 16. Stay organized

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

One Note is pretty straight forward to use and integrated well with Microsoft's other products. Notes are easy to organize and find. One Note is very aesthetically appealing and easy on the eyes.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I do not like that the typing area is 'free form', meaning you can click anywhere on the page and it will start a new text box. I would like it to be a 'form' style like Microsoft word where all the text is aligned. As far as I know, there is no way to turn this free form option off. Additionally, if you copy and paste something from Microsoft word into one note that has a photo, the image is often time lost and does not transfer. I also would like the option to automatically sort my notes alphabetically, currently you have to manually arrange them.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft OneNote allows me to keep all my notes organized and easy to find. The benefit I have seen over other products is that the application seems to be light and opens up very quickly, no time taken to slowly load. This allows me to easily open and add notes quickly in a secure way as it auto-saves, rather than scrambling trying to find paper or typing into a less secure application like word and possibly losing my data.

  ### 17. A very good note-taking app for work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr. Nonni Sri A. | Conversion Rate Optimization Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

+ Good organization of notes and drawings with Notebooks, Sections, and Pages
+ It can convert my handwriting into text, even in different languages
+ Able to record audio in a note. This is very useful during an important meeting.
+ Able to sync my notes between my tablet and my work laptop using a Microsoft account

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

The app was once hanged, and I lost what I had just written. But luckily, this only happened once.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OneNote greatly reduces my paper usage as it digitizes my handwriting notes and drawings.
It helps me to more organized as it keeps all my notes in one place. I can see my notes anytime and anywhere, whether from my laptop or from my tablet.
I can even email and print my handwriting notes and drawings!

  ### 18. My Microsoft OneNote Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Writing and Editing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

It's easy and convenient to use. You can write whatever you want anytime. I had documents saved on OneNote for years. You can also link your account with someone else’s if you want. You save and download. You can add and take away notes. I love it!

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

The only thing I dislike is I can’t figure out how to unlink my documents to someone else’s. Other than that I love how easy and convenient it is.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

It's convenient especially if you love to write. I write all my ideas in it.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can write as much as I need to and it's private. I can snyc it to other accounts if I wanted to and I can use it for business notes and personal notes.

  ### 19. Pretty Good Organizational Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gerard M. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I like that it sync's with all Microsoft office and you can easily make new project pages and tasks and sub-pages. I use it for notes mostly and notes for sub-projects/staff I manage

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

It is sometimes not enough organization I need for my individual self. It is what I use though and find best.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

its easy to set up and access. seamless.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes it feels a bit clunky for me and almost overwhelming. But I am not the most organized so the tool is helping me get better

  ### 20. One note is a great product.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

The ability to take my notes anywhere by syncing.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

There is nothing that I dislike about it.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

If you are thinking about using one note I would suggest to absolutely use it. It is a gamechanger when it comes to documenting. It make everything much easier.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking notes is much easier.

  ### 21. OneNote review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civil Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Very versatile, keep notes and all information centralized, integration with Outlook (task), easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Not oriented towards team collaboration, I prefer the Windows 10 app UI rather than the software; however, the Win10 app has fewer features. I'd like to have the same tab layout as W10 with all the features of the software version.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Great app for taking notes and saving info

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking notes, centralizing documents and data, organizing tasks

  ### 22. "OneNote" has proven over time that it is a great organizational tool.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elena del Carmen A. | Analista de negocios de TI, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I like OneNote and it is my favorite because without a doubt it is the best tool to organize my work, take notes, crop images, screenshots in any business among others. It's like a digital whiteboard where I can write anything, anywhere on the screen in full format, I can copy and paste images along with the text. And the best feature is that you don't need to save any of my work on this board. Therefore, it reduces the possibility of losing my notes due to an unexpected power outage or system problems.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

As such I have not seen any disadvantages, mainly I use this tool to take my notes of any kind and add some clippings related to my work. However, not admitting handwriting would be very useful if you simply gave us an option to draw something on the screen.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

I highly recommend that you use Microsoft OneNote frequently and with total confidence as you have undoubtedly demonstrated that it is ideal for taking notes and allows you to easily organize our things in a way that mimics a paper-based system of notes and at the same time obtain the characteristics of the cloud based storage.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems that I solve on a daily basis is to be able to save and share notes in an effective professional and avant-garde way with those attending any meeting or any colleague or boss who requires valuable information to help with any management or general monitoring of any project.

  ### 23. Microsoft One Note makes note taking and staying organized easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Microsoft One Note is great for taking notes for meetings, lectures and other uses, while being able to insert images, slideshows and other media to consolidate the notes and make it easier to assimilate information.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

There's a learning curve to it, but once you get the hang of it it's extremely helpful!

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Utilize this to help learn new material, keep yourself organized, and/or keeping/tracking notes you make.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using it for note-taking (personally and professionally), keeping organized and consolidating information from various sources (ie powerpoint) into one format.

  ### 24. Great program for keeping track of each employee's work within a team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew N. | Exploitation Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I like the layout, having multiple folders and easily being able to navigate through the subfolders

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Nothing, OneNote has been working great for our team while we have been working from home

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Ensure the workbook is saved in a location that can be accessed by all potential users

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While working from home, we are keeping a OneNote document which contains everyone's work within the team. It is easy for our Vice Presidents to check the OneNote document to see what is being worked on within the team

  ### 25. Has a lot of issues for something that is well-known

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Hardware | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Pros:
Pros: Wide range of functionality. You can convert to different file types and insert files into it rather easily. It has great cloud support and is overall easy to access.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Cons:
There is great support for onenote on the web, but at least 90% of the searches I've done to troubleshoot an issue or functionality apply to one type of Onenote and not another... for some reason. I've spent many hours troubleshooting options that don't exist for one type or another. Example:
The ink-to-math is not present in this version. The ink-to-draw is not present in the office 365 version. Why?
There is a view option of fitting what's been drawn to the page width which will also show up if printed to a .pdf. What's bad is that there is no option for displaying where the pages end. I saw a comment from a developer about this saying that it would be too difficult. But I know they could figure out a way to do that. There are so many option. Just have the length of each page increase if a user increases the width to the right. That could cause issues if the user wants the content displayed on certain pages. So, have the page separators actually splice the content shown and add whitespace if page width/length grows ... or shrink/grow content of pages accordingly like a picture. Or, when in "page view mode" like this, warm the user if they are trying to grow pages sizes ... or just have a fixed page size in this mode!
My main issue: Why it is so glitchy with an epen. If I tap the screen it wants me to type - this happens a lot when I'm scrolling and not tapping also. The developers didn't input an option to make the pen the default and disable tap to keyboard.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

use Microsoft Whiteboard

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I would solve the issues described in my "cons" section. There a lot of benefits of Onenote including its popularity and how connected it is since Microsoft dominate many mainstream products.

  ### 26. My important notes in one place

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Magdalena C. | Líder de sistemas, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I like how simple it is, but very practical at the same time, it is very efficient and allows me to create notes and allow users to edit collaboratively, it is basic and allows us to easily learn their tools, we can sort our information in different notebooks.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I usually have a little difficulty getting into occasions, and I would like your design to be a little more entertaining, the rest is very complete and I like it a lot.

What I don't like is that it has some limited capabilities to capture some notes, and when I try to add bullet points, the text tends to change a bit and is deselected, on the other hand, I realized that it has no templates, just one page it goes blank, you must implement new functions and include templates.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

In my particular case, the information I share through OneNote, cannot be very sensitive from a personal point of view, much less when it comes to sharing information about the company for which I work. When we share information between the work team, they are elements of progress and description of the tasks performed. The lack of information encryption is a delicate aspect that does not generate trust when placing important information in the cloud.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Onenote, is a program capable of registering ideas and notes, in an orderly way, allows access to data from anywhere, and additionally you can share the information with friends and collaborators.
It is a program with enormous potential that will allow you to make annotations, without wasting time, in a clear way, and incorporate any element that contributes to document everything you want to register.

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

One Note allows me to put in lecture slides, notes, and pictures from online all together, all while letting me annotate and highlight within the program. Honestly being able to use this with pictures as well is something I completely missed out on during undergraduate.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

The program itself can be a bit clunky, i.e. taking some time to load, or the highlighting features not functioning as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

The contraindication to use would be if you are often uploading files that are greater than 50mb, as this is not supported.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are definitely streamlining medical education - i.e. it is extremely useful to have students work together on the same notebook, given that the notebook can be saved on the cloud.

I also love the fact that it is easy to share information with other people on the fly. I keep ALL my notes for literally everything in Microsoft OneNote. I keep sales playbook notes, client notes, prospecting notes, learning material, meeting notes, email follow ups, everything!

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

This is so hard because I really do not dislike anything about this software. I wish I had at least one recommendation for them or something but I really do enjoy every aspect. It has little reminders, follow up tasks that you can mark, its amazing.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Absolutely get it! It is so helpful

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving so many problems with Microsoft OneNote. I would not be able to do my job properly without it. This is my life notebook and I keep everything in it. I love using Microsoft word and use is on a daily basis for my work as well as personal use. MS One Note makes is just much easier to create digital notebooks and organize all of my notes in one place. When I need to add images, tables or drawings to my notes, I can just insert tables and pictures at any location on the page. Its so convenient that it saves your progress automatically and I never really have to worry about losing my work. Its so much easier to search through files. Its also so much easy to share notes with other people. At enterprise level its convenient that your colleagues can have access to the same document and we can work on same documents at the same time. Other nice feature I like is that I can use my tablet and stylus as well, one note had ability to convert freehand notes in to computer text which is very helful at time. Its much more than just Notes.

There is not much to dislike about this software. I just wish that it was a little easier to add web clippings to my notes. Mac and iPad version could be better.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Start using MS One Note if like you digital notebooks and notes organized. You would love how easy it is to share and collaborate with other while working on the note/file. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a digital notebook creation application. You can organize your notes, images, tables and drawings. It can convert freehand notes to computer font.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing my notes and collaborating with other/colleagues is such a breeze. Ability to work in the same notebook and note at same time saves a lot of time when working remotely and in today's global environment. I cna sit here in US and share or collaborate with other people in China or anywhere in the world. It can not get any better than that.

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I like best that you can create notes and the auto save option. I like the options available to edit th notes and create new ones

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I do not like that on note and sticky notes do not seem to work together. I do not like that the tools do not allow both of those applications to work together, I do not like that the colors cannot be changed.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

I would recommend using one note for personal use maybe on a personal computer as it does not seem to be very useful for work and business. at this time i do not know if i would recommend using One note as it does not have many benefits.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have realized that there are not many benefits of One note. It is good to save notes but it seems to be some what unnecessary as sticky notes are easier and more accessible to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Onenote, I recommend a person who notes many things

**Reviewed by:** Jacqui M. | Technical Services Coordinator, Events Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I like that I can add checklists to the jobs that are put into my tab. Each job i receive, I have to go through a checklist in order to finish the job. OneNote makes this easy, and once I am done with it, I just move it to my completed tab.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I do not like that you can not really put due dates on anything. I just have to type it into the name of the job.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

OneNote is great for organizing your jobs and making notes. But it is not really a project management software, which is what it was being used for at first. I would still recommend to a coworker though!

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We as a tech department get a lot of emails in for requests. With OneNote, we are able to get those emails forwarded into our Orders tab, and then distribute to whomever should be taking care of said email.

  ### 43. OneNote Free, Fast and Mobile

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elisabetta B. | Ecommerce Manager, Consumer Goods, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Microsoft OneNote is my favorite note-taking app. I have a very long experience with Evernote, since it was totally free. Over time Evernote has reduced the features for the free version but above all it has had many hacking incidents. After many years I decided to move to Microsoft's OneNote. I was struck by this app that Microsoft decided to release free from the 2016 version: it has a flat interface, a clean layout and lots of tools to work with. Thanks to this app I can coordinate and keep the most important notes between Mac, Pc and Android Mobile. The Android version is simply fantastic! It is divided into notebooks, sections and pages and each page can contain content freely. It allows you to create page templates, record videos, have tools to integrate mathematical formulas and finally use sticky notes (great time-savers). Microsoft OneNote also allows you to set the Dark Mode version!

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

The OneNote things that are disappointing to me are: the first was the transition from OneNote 2016 to OneNote (v. 16001.x) on Windows 10. I found myself OneNote 2016 with the updated version of Office. It was clear that OneNote was "old" because it had an outdated user interface. I couldn't understand why the Office version would no longer allow me to install and update OneNote. So I started to investigate and discovered that I had to install it from the Windows Store. When I did I discovered that I still had 32-bit Office installed and, to upgrade to 64-bit, I had to uninstall everything, risking losing my mail with Outlook! A real case! In the end I uninstalled everything and reinstalled the 64-bit versions and everything went well! Another thing that is missing is that OneNote should allow you to back up to other drives / clouds like Google Drive, Dropbox etc.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

My advice is to install OneNote from the Windows Store (and eventually uninstall the 2016 version) on both PC / Mac and Smartphone. The first thing to do is to divide the notebooks for personal and work purposes and then use the sticky notes for information to catch on the fly. If you like it, you can use Dark Mode.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Microsoft OneNote, first of all I don't have to pay any order for a cloud-based note-taking service. I saved money! t Iis truly multi-platform and has no limits. I have numerous tools to make video, audio recordings or write simple notes. It has the Dark Mode version and installs a virtual printer in Windows to send all the material directly to OneNote. In addition there are sticky notes that allow you to take notes on the fly without using the basic Android or IOS app for notes.

  ### 44. "OneNote" is undoubtedly a centralized location for all your notes.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madison Sheila M. | Software Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I really like OneNote because of its high capacity and reliability it has been, is, and will always be part of my arsenal of tools for the business environment. I have also used it on a personal level, I have used both the Local version and the cloud, choosing the cloud due to my ability to access from any device. It is noteworthy that you can also add a local copy, depending on your subscription level, and synchronize your content online with your local machine, which helps keep your data in 2 places at once.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

What I dislike is not much just one thing and is that OneNote tends to have a different design between the online version and the downloaded version, which could bring some confusion to some users. Microsoft is moving more towards the cloud, and until this becomes the norm and its downloadable applications can mimic the experience in the cloud, there may be a small learning curve otherwise I have no other complaints about it.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

I highly recommend this informative product since it is the best to organize and keep track of everything, it is an excellent way to document tasks and have immediate access to all the work done, OneNote has the ability to give everything a place for your day I invite you to try it with total confidence and security.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems that I solve with the daily use of this informatic product is to be able to keep in a fully organized and accessible way all my most precious and important notes which also gives me the ability to write down a quick note during meetings collaborating more effectively With the ability to share files without loading a physical notebook but a virtual one which gives me total mobility and freedom wherever I go.

**Reviewed by:** Amanda B. | Assistant teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I love how I am able to organize all of my notes and classes by section and page. It is an easy way to keep things organized right form the beginning so that you don't have to scroll through millions of files to find a certain page. Also, I love how I am able to share my entire notebook with someone by just sharing the link! I also love how I can access it by logging in to the application on any device!

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I dislike how sometimes the page will automatically just jump to the beginning when I am much further down. It automatically just scrolls right to the top! This is a glitch that needs to be fixed.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Definitely use it to get better organization skills for your notes!

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving the problem of disorganization of my notes. Also, I no longer have to use powerpoint and type of the bottom of the power points, instead I can just insert the powerpoint as a pdf into one note and then write comments and my notes on the sides and ontop and even by just highlighting the text!

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

OneNote lets you combine almost anything on a page: text, images, lists, drawings, tables, links, video, audio and more (even audio and video can be recorded directly inside the app). If you use a touchscreen PC or a tablet with a pen, it becomes even more useful.
I also like the sharing and history features built into OneNote which can be very useful if you're working on notebooks as part of a team. A couple of clicks is enough to restore a page to a day a week or even six months ago, if necessary.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

There is room for improvement, the cross-notebook search tool works quite well, but it can be difficult to get advanced usage, while the relationship between the different components of OneNote is not obvious.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it is a smart and competent tool that will keep all types of text and images synchronized on multiple devices and will help you keep thoughts and ideas disparate organized,
I beleive that it can be a useful resource for all types of companies and teams.

  ### 49. OneNote Desktop helps me stay organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I like that OneNote 2016 is really like a virtual notebook. I can take notes and store other information like Knowledge Base Articles and not use paper. I also like that I can access my notebooks anywhere there is an Internet connection and from any device.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I dislike the OneNote UWP app. I wish Microsoft made it just like the OneNote 2016 desktop app. The OneNote 2016 app has more features and is much easier to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

I recommend using Microsoft OneNote 2016 and not the OneNote UWP app. The OneNote 2016 version is much easier to use and has more features. Microsoft has announced they will continue to support OneNote 2016 because it is so popular.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have my notes and other information much better organized than I did prior to using OneNote 2016. I can access all my notebooks anywhere I have Internet access and from any device. I also don't have paper notes and other information written on paper scattered all over my desk.

  ### 50. Easy to use

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

The best part of Microsoft OneNote is its image readability. When you search for a word in the OneNote. it searches through the images that one has attached making it very easier to find a word. You can type any word anywhere just like how you write in your notebook. One can keep tiles in whatever way one needs.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

There are no dislikes that I have found in the Notepad till date such an awesome app from Microsoft.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Best editing tool like notepad++ and notepad. So you can go with this provided it's not freeware but worth it.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Best place to write To-Do-List.
To write Meeting minutes.
As a notepad.
You can type any word anywhere just like how you write in your notebook. One can keep tiles in whatever way one needs.
