"Useful for Organization, but Repetitive Output and AI Fatigue Get in the Way"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Copilot?

It's good for organization, improving first drafts, summarizing long documents, and more. I use my personal computer as my work computer too, and Copilot helps me with work and personal projects without the two getting mixed up. I like the ability to separate things into projects and to upload files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Copilot?

I have AI fatigue at this point; AI doesn't have to be used for everything. Sometimes it's like being handed a bunch of tools that get in the way instead of the one you need. I also feel like there's a lot of repetition even when I write prompts that specifically ask for fresh content. A lot of the content I get is very much first draft and needs to be edited by me. "Copilot Makes Daily Writing, Planning, and Research Faster and Easier"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Copilot?

I think Copilot writes very well, and it’s especially good at writing in specific tones of voice. I use it for planning, adding structure to projects, and sense-checking my work. I’ve also used it for research and found it to be pretty accurate. It’s easy to use, and it makes certain tasks quicker and easier for me on a daily basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Copilot?

The main thing I dislike about Microsoft Copilot is how frustrating image creation can be. I’ve found that when I’m tweaking small parts of a prompt, it sometimes forgets what I wrote earlier in the chat, and then changes other things as well. It’s also not great with small details, like lining up text properly. I’ve also noticed it will still use certain words in the content even when I’ve specifically asked it not to. "Makes Long Email Threads Easy with Fast, Simple Outlook Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Copilot?

It makes email communication much easier by summarizing long messages and pulling out the key takeaways, especially when threads get very long. So far, my main use of the platform has been through its integration with Outlook.

The UI is very simple and works relatively fast. It also doesn’t take much effort to get started, since it comes natively with the OS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Copilot?

My main dislike isn’t about the platform itself, but rather the concern raised by reports that it may leak information to other tools. I’ve seen reports of malicious actions being embedded in the code, which could lead to data exfiltration, forwarding files, or executing unauthorized actions without approval. "Microsoft copilot: A Powerful Companion for Faster Decisions and Easier Emails"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Copilot?

Microsoft copilot is one of the best companion apps along with MS Office, which helps me during my office work. It also assists in making quick decisions and writing emails, which are the most tedious tasks. Therefore, I suggest MS Copilot is very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Copilot?

Copilot doesn’t really seem to be aiming to be a best-in-class reasoning or coding assistant. Instead, it feels designed primarily as a safe, enterprise-friendly productivity layer within Microsoft’s ecosystem. In practice, that translates into heavy guardrails, conservative behind-the-scenes prompting, aggressive filtering, and a lot of orchestration logic layered on top of the underlying model. The result is added latency, more brittleness, and occasional weird behavior compared with tools that stay closer to the raw model. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Seamless Microsoft Companion for Search and Email Writing"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Copilot?

I like that it helps you search information you need help with. It helps to write emails when you are not sure what to write or how to start it. I like how it works with my other Microsoft apps since they are connected. I have not had any issues while using it. Since we use Microsoft at work then I do not pay for it. We have to use it but it really helps with my day to day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Copilot?

So far I haven't had a reason to dislike it. I can set it up to be on the side instead of opening another window. It keeps me connected to everything so I don't have to keep going back and forth between apps. It saves my searches which makes it easier for me. I will keep using it. I'm not even sure what kind of suggestion to have for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Minimal Graphics with Helpful Voice Typing and AI Recommendations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Copilot?

Graphics is minimal, no extra unnecessary graphics. Adding voice typing feature is good, especially when we want to review a large draft; we can just say instead of typing each question. It is quick, and I don't see any lag for results. AI recommendations are good as well when we investigate or ask about a security alert. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Copilot?

Sometimes I run into output errors. It gives different command outputs that aren’t supported by our security SIEM, even after I tell Copilot what outcome it should provide. I also have issues when uploading files: it won’t accept some formats, and older JSON format files sometimes fail as well. If Copilot could read and handle multiple file formats more reliably, it would be much easier to use. Another thing I’d like is having more model options so I can choose to run it slower or faster depending on the query I’m entering. These are the main things I dislike about Copilot. "Microsoft Copilot: Word & Excel Integration for Students and Professional"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Copilot?

As a coder, back in my student days I used Microsoft Copilot for a variety of tasks: project work, document writing and editing, image generation, and even inspiration while working on my thesis. The best part for me is that it’s integrated into Microsoft services like Microsoft Word and Excel, which makes it easier and faster to create, update, and refine documents and presentations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Copilot?

As I was using it in the early days of AI advancements, it sometimes made mistakes, and I had to explain things multiple times to get the work done. Especially for image generation, it made a lot of errors, such as creating the wrong scenario, and sometimes it took longer than expected to generate a single image. Also, it sometimes came to incorrect conclusions about the logic behind code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Microsoft Tenant Integration with Flexible LLM Access and Simple Governance"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Copilot?

Copilot has become my go-to AI assistant because it’s easy to use and integrates seamlessly with my entire Microsoft tenant. Having access to both Claude and ChatGPT within my searches also gives me the flexibility to lean into the strengths of each LLM, depending on what I’m trying to accomplish. On top of that, I really appreciate how straightforward AI governance is with the Business version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Copilot?

I believe the in-app integrations still need some work. For example, the Email summary in Outlook pales in comparison to copying the email contents into a chat and then summarizing the email for review and for drafting subsequent responses. There are also some limitations with using Copilot in Excel, although it is getting better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong for summaries, weaker for analysis"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Copilot?

What I like best is how deeply Copilot is embedded in the Microsoft 365 apps we already use every day: Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel. It summarizes long email threads and Teams meetings in seconds, drafts documents from existing files, and respects our existing M365 permissions and compliance boundaries. For an IT and compliance team, that native integration and the Purview and data-governance alignment are big upsides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Copilot?

Results can be inconsistent: the same prompt gives different quality answers across Word, Excel and Teams, and Excel analysis in particular often falls short. It also surfaces content users technically have access to but shouldn’t see, so oversharing in SharePoint becomes visible fast; you need solid data governance before rollout. Licensing is expensive, and it lags behind standalone AI tools on complex reasoning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Email Summaries, But Falls Short Compared to ChatGPT"
2/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Copilot?

I like that copilot is embedded into the email, making it easy to access. that I can click on an email an email to have it summarizes the email instead of having to read though a long thread. The lay out is simple and easy to use and to read, making it easy to find keep points in the email that are important Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Copilot?

I just feel like it is slower than the other AI models out there. I have also noticed that when I ask it to review a document to see if we meet their insurance requirements, it tends to miss things when we have compared it to another AI review. I don't think Microsoft at this point can handle a heavy workload. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
