## About Microsoft 365 Copilot
Microsoft 365 Copilot is a generative AI assistant for work that’s built into the Microsoft 365 apps people use every day—like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. It helps you stay in the flow of work by turning your ideas, content, and data into action. Powered by Work IQ, Copilot connects the dots across your work—bringing together your emails, files, meetings, and conversations to deliver more relevant, contextual, and personalized assistance. It understands how work gets done in your organization and adapts to your role, priorities, and patterns over time. Copilot works alongside you to help draft content, analyze data, summarize meetings, and automate tasks—so you can move faster and focus on what matters most. Because it’s built directly into the apps you already use, there’s no need to switch tools or start from scratch. Copilot also inherits Microsoft 365 security, privacy, and compliance controls, so it only surfaces information users are authorized to access while keeping your data protected. By combining AI with the tools and data organizations already rely on, Microsoft 365 Copilot helps people work smarter, move faster, and get more done. Apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Loop work with Copilot to support users in the context of their work. For example, Copilot in Word helps users create, understand, and edit documents. By using Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat, you can draft content, review what you missed, and get answers to questions by using open-ended prompts. This information is securely grounded in your work data. Copilot Search is an AI-powered universal search experience across all your Microsoft 365 applications and connected non-Microsoft data sources. It's integrated with Microsoft 365 Copilot, so users can find the results they need by using search, then seamlessly transition to chat for deeper exploration or follow-up task completion. Out of the box agents like Facilitator, Interpreter, or Channels help support meeting logistics, communication, and collaboration in Microsoft Teams.

## Microsoft 365 Copilot Reviews
 ### 1. Copilot Saves Time with High-Quality Code and Seamless M365 Search

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nishant A. | Cloud Architect, Civil Engineering, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

Here are the benefits that I like the most about using Copilot:
1. It saves me a lot of time on my daily work. I used to write Terraform Code, create documents, reports for power BI by putting manual efforts however now I get a good quality code, copilot created documents, and step by step guidelines to create Power BI Dashboard.

2. Since it is M365, it works across all of my emails, teams chat, one drive and sharepoint. Hence, whenever I ask anything, it performs the search across all the paltforms along with its master data and gives me relevant results.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

Copilot is connected to my organization's knowledge which is emails, chats, files, etc, which is a good thing however when I perform code level searches, sometimes I find the results less matured as compare to open ai and claude.
Another things is that few times it just doesn't gives the results and whole efforts of explaining the summary gets wasted.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 Copilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Copilot on a daily basis and it is solving one practical problem for me.
In office, I am handling information across emails, teams chats, techincal documentation, dashboards of power BI.
Copilot helps me convert all of this scattered information into clear actions, summaries, drafts things for me and helps me create management ready outputs faster

 ### 2. A Time-Saving Extra Set of Eyes Across Outlook, Word, Excel, and More

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Balram T. | Associate Consultant (AI/ML), Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

What I like best about Microsoft 365 Copilot is that I can use it across the tools I already work with every day, like Outlook, Word, Excel, and others. I mostly use it to review emails before sending them to larger groups so I can catch grammar mistakes or improve the wording when I want the email to sound more professional.

I also use it when reading long documents or meeting notes. Instead of going through everything line by line, I can quickly get the key points and focus on the parts that matter most. This saves me a lot of time during busy workdays.

In Excel, it has helped me understand spreadsheets that I did not create myself and answer questions about the data. I have also used it occasionally to review code or get suggestions when I am stuck on something.

For me, it is less about creating content from scratch and more about having an extra set of eyes to review, summarize, and help me with everyday tasks.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

One thing I do not like about Microsoft 365 Copilot is that the responses are not always accurate. I have especially noticed this with math-related questions. Sometimes when I ask it to do calculations, percentages, or logic-based problems, it gives the wrong answer, so I still need to double-check important information before using it.

Apart from that, I have also faced some issues with the UI. There have been times when I opened Microsoft 365 Copilot and could not see my chat history or recent conversations until I logged out and signed in again. This can be frustrating sometimes when I want to continue a previous discussion to do something but cannot access the earlier context right away.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 Copilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft 365 Copilot helps me get through everyday work a little faster. I use it a lot when I need a some help kind of review on something, whether it is an email, a document, or even some data in Excel.

One thing that helps is being able to quickly understand long documents or meeting notes without reading every single page. I can get a summary first and then decide which sections I need to look at in more detail and what action I need to take based on that.

I also use it before sending important emails to make sure the message is clear and written the way I intended or the way it should be corporate world. In Excel, it helps me understand spreadsheets and answer questions about the data when I am working with files that were created by someone else.

For me, the biggest benefit is that it reduces the time spent on routine tasks like reviewing, summarizing, and checking information, which lets me focus more on the actual work.

 ### 3. Microsoft 365 Copilot Supercharges Productivity Across Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muzammil M. | Founder – Muzammil Graphic | Interior and Graphic Designer | Transforming Spaces and Brands Visually , Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

Microsoft 365 Copilot makes everyday work much faster and more organized, especially when handling documents, emails, presentations, and meetings. I like how it helps generate summaries, draft content, and organize information directly inside Microsoft apps without needing to switch between multiple tools. It is especially useful for saving time on repetitive tasks like writing emails, creating reports, or summarizing long discussions. The integration with apps like Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams also feels smooth, which makes productivity and collaboration much easier during daily work.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

One thing I do not always like about Microsoft 365 Copilot is that the responses can sometimes feel too generic and still require manual editing before they are fully usable. In some cases, the AI may miss context or give suggestions that are not completely accurate for more detailed tasks. It also works best within the Microsoft ecosystem, so users who do not rely heavily on Microsoft apps may not get the full value from it. Pricing can also feel expensive for smaller teams or individual users depending on how frequently the AI features are used.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 Copilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft 365 Copilot helps solve the problem of spending too much time on repetitive office work like writing emails, creating reports, organizing data, summarizing meetings, and preparing presentations. I mainly use it to speed up daily tasks and reduce the amount of manual work needed inside Microsoft apps. It has been helpful for improving productivity because tasks that normally take a long time can be completed much faster with AI suggestions, summaries, and content generation. Features inside Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams make it easier to manage information, organize communication, and handle documents more efficiently. For businesses, teams, and professionals, it can save time, improve workflow efficiency, and help users focus more on important work instead of repetitive tasks. It is especially useful for people who already work regularly within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and want faster collaboration and better organization in day-to-day operations.

 ### 4. Integrates Seamlessly, Needs Speed Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Babu S. | Senior Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

I find Microsoft 365 Copilot very helpful because it's capable of integrating with almost every Microsoft application, including Excel, Power BI, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams. This integration is really useful for creating multiple agents and projects. I also use it when building pitch decks for clients and brainstorming within PowerPoint. It helps me create visualizations that are apt for stakeholders and automate meetings in Teams, like removing canceled meetings from calendars or automatically accepting meetings from specific stakeholders. The initial setup was very easy, taking weeks to complete, which was convenient.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

I find Microsoft 365 Copilot is good, but it's also a little slow sometimes, and it doesn't generate an image or a particular outcome sometimes as we intend to. And it says 'sorry, try again later.' I don't feel that sits well.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 Copilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Microsoft 365 Copilot for generating effective prompts and building AI agents across projects. It's integrated with several apps, helping me build pitch decks, draft narratives, and manage meetings efficiently.

 ### 5. Useful AI with an Easy UI and Reliable Results Across Email, Sheets, and Word

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew W. | Sales Administration Support, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

It’s very useful for asking questions, whether I’m working in my email, a spreadsheet, or a Word document. I also use it to make emails more concise and to search for decision-makers at different companies for sales outreach. The UI is easy to use, and if you’re signed in, your searches are saved for future reference. The AI is pretty good, and I find I don’t have to double-check the results as much as I do with other GPT/chatbots.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

I don’t always want it enabled in every program I use. For example, I don’t think it needs to be integrated with MS Paint. I do think it’s helpful in email, spreadsheets, and Word, and it can also be useful for running multiple searches at the same time. Still, I really don’t need it in every Microsoft program all the time. I usually turn off automatic suggestions so I can focus, especially when it’s something that needs to be completed manually. I also keep it from auto-running on startup, so it only uses resources when I actually need it.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 Copilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s a really quick and easy chat model to use alongside other programs. I find it faster to use Copilot than to open a web-based browser chatbot. The integration with Microsoft products works well, and overall it’s mainly a convenience factor: it saves me time and reduces the number of windows and programs I need to have running at once.

 ### 6. Seamless Microsoft Workflow Assistant for Fast Summaries and Drafts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jena R. | VP Strategic Account Management & Validations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

It works seamlessly inside the Microsoft tools I’m already using, so it fits naturally into my workflow instead of adding another system. It’s especially useful for quickly pulling together summaries, drafts, and insights without starting from scratch every time. It also helps me process large amounts of information faster, which makes day-to-day work more efficient. I think of Microsoft Copilot as my personal assistant.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

At times the responses can feel too surface-level and still need editing to be truly useful. It’s not always consistent, especially when working with complex data or longer documents, so accuracy must be closely checked. Sometime it is intrusive and make suggestions when I do not want them such as accidently clicking on the space right above writing an email - copilot pops up.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 Copilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me work faster, note taking and summarizing meeting notes save hours out of my day!

 ### 7. Microsoft 365 Copilot Makes Me 5x More Efficient on Documents and Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

I like how I can edit and ask for help when I need it on a document or if I need some advice too. With Microsoft 365 Copilot, I feel like I'm 5 times more efficient. It helps me find a good answer, be more productive on documents, or when I support a customer or my team. I feel very grown up with 365.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

Sometimes Microsoft 365 Copilot gives me some lackluster advice, and the way I think it can help me, I have to iterate 3 or 5 times before I get what I want for the project. But I feel sometimes a little shy when it's productive and when I want it to do a lot of things on the document. After that, I think it's great.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 Copilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Copilot helps me write my documents well. Above all, it helps me save time. Last month, I wanted to work on 7 deliverables to share with a client. I used Copilot's help on Google Docs and as a result, I finished the documents in one day. Moreover, I received quick feedback from the stakeholder, which allowed me to increase efficiency and also take on more projects.

 ### 8. Seamless Microsoft 365 Integration That Saves Time Across Email, Excel, and Outlook

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

How integrated it is into edge, outlook, and the entire office suite. That makes generated emails, email replies, summaries etc... created by copilot clean and consistent. It helps with formula creations inside of excel, rule creation in outlook. Even if you are anti-ai it is a time saver for office work.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

It needs more permission to do tasks than other AI tools, the enterprise version anyway. It can be frustrating to run into a task that others can do, then you have to contact campus support to grant permissions. Security is great, but getting permission to do some simple tasks can be very frustrating.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 Copilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit is increased productivity. I have more than 40 hours of work to complete in 40 hours. My job is data management and assessment so being able to leverage the copilot as a tool in excel and outlook (and others, but those are the most common) is a true time saver. It is not replacing originality or creativity it is just automating or assisting in mundane tasks.

 ### 9. Turns Rough Ideas into Clear Writing Fast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mapy B. | Student, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

One downside of Microsoft 365 Copilot is that it sometimes provides answers that sound confident but aren’t completely accurate, so I still need to double-check the information. It can also feel a bit slow or inconsistent depending on which app I’m using, and that can interrupt my workflow when I’m trying to get something finished quickly.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 Copilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft 365 Copilot helps me save time by turning rough notes or long readings into clear, easy-to-follow summaries, so I can grasp the main points more quickly.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

Microsoft 365 Copilot can sometimes generate inaccurate or overly generic responses that still require manual review. Its effectiveness also depends heavily on Microsoft ecosystem integration, and pricing may feel high for smaller teams or individual users.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 Copilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft 365 Copilot solves repetitive productivity tasks like drafting emails, summarizing meetings, generating reports, and analyzing spreadsheets directly inside Microsoft 365 apps. ### 14. A Versatile and Secure Tool Across Applications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

I really like that Microsoft 365 Copilot is grounded in all of my data, giving me a sense of security. It just works very well across every single application, which is a big plus for me. The setup was extremely easy and felt like plug and play. It's reassuring knowing my data is secure rather than having employees copy data into other AI like Chaiji BCP or Cloud for training their models.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

The chat experience could use a project feature where you could group things together. I find that the UI itself is not that great, especially on the application side. It tends to be a bit bubbly and a bit clunky. Not super intuitive compared to the likes of a ChatGPT, a Gemini, or even a Claude.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 Copilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Microsoft 365 Copilot to summarize and reply to emails, modify documents and Excel formulas. It solves the problem of aggregating data and finding information that's not easily findable, giving me peace of mind knowing my data is secure.

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

I mostly use it through the Windows hotkey for searches and as a second opinion against Claude. It's useful as a comparative tool, so I like to cross-reference other information with it. The UI is pretty decent, and it's fast without being overly verbose. I like the hotkey access, the overall UI design, and the color scheme. The hotkey usage makes it super fast and convenient. The initial setup was perfectly easy.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

{"I don't like how hidden the models it uses are.","It's not the smartest either.","I also don't like that it's so integrated into Windows without giving other options like Claude for binding to the hotkey."}

**What problems is Microsoft 365 Copilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 22. Deep Copilot Integration That Supercharges Productivity Across Microsoft Apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

What I like most is how deeply Copilot integrates into apps like Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. It doesn’t feel like a separate tool it works inside the applications I already use daily. It helps draft documents, summarize meetings, analyze data, and generate presentations quickly, which genuinely improves productivity.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

It performs best when prompts are clear and specific, so there’s a slight learning curve. Sometimes the output needs small edits for tone or accuracy. Additionally, licensing costs may be a concern for smaller organizations looking to scale it across teams.

**What problems is Microsoft 365 Copilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reduces time spent on repetitive documentation, email drafting, and meeting summaries. Instead of starting from scratch, I get a structured first draft instantly. This allows me to focus more on strategic tasks and communication rather than manual formatting or data compilation.

 ### 23. Useful Search Engine Benefits, but Text Can Feel Generic and Hallucination-Prone

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

It can be very useful as a search engine with extra benefits.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft 365 Copilot?**

Specially when you are generating text it can be very generic and bland. The text doesn't feel that human. The so called "Hallucinations" are encountered way to much!

**What problems is Microsoft 365 Copilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps getting better on many levels, but i'm not to excited to use it for text generation. I would never use it to create mails or papers, it doesn't have the personal touch to be professional enough for me.
