There are a variety of connections that can be used, which are important if you want metadata to be saved during the migration. There is also mapping available for fields and users and a lot of other things. The options are easy enough to learn quickly, and the copy modes are intuitive as well so you know what you are trying to copy or migrate. **What do you dislike about Metalogix Content Matrix?** Migrating to SharePoint Online is really slow. It took a vanilla site of less than 1 GB a full day to migrate. It could be because the connectors being used to connect to the cloud are outdated, but I am not 100% sure. **Recommendations to others considering Metalogix Content Matrix:** Content Matrix is a great and easy to use tool for migrations on the on-premise SharePoint environment. It is a great tool for backup and restore as well. **What problems is Metalogix Content Matrix solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used this tool to copy content from lists to sites from one site to another. This is a very flexible tool and was mostly used for achiving. ### 3. It's great that the metadata comes with the items and versioning, last editor and last update remains intact. But ultimately, when I need one of those options, I'm glad they are there. **What problems is Metalogix Content Matrix solving and how is that benefiting you?** We've used Content Matrix to migrate SharePoint sites to a newer versions on two occasions. We moved hundreds of sites and were able to customize the migration to meet our specific needs. ### 5.
