What do you like best about Medianet?

The Medianet platform is easy to use, boasting a minimal learning curve. Our media team were able to quickly get to grips with the platform and utilise its intuitive search features to finetune our media contact lists.

Medianet's customer support team is also very reponsive, and easy to reach via email communications. This transparency and visibility has been greatly appreciated by our team, as we're often working to tight deadlines, like most media agencies.

For the platform's pricing, Medianet has also been a sustainable investment for us. It has been very easy for us to integrate the service into our existing workflows and maintain profitability and productivity on our end with minimal tool training required. The Medianet team has also supported immensely with implementation by maintaining email and phone communications with us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Medianet?

Whilst the platform is easy to use and streamlined in its UI, it can at times also be a little bit too minimalistic, and there is definitely room to introduce new tools and features -- like improved media monitoring, domain metrics records, and potentially even more journalist profile stats. The Medianet team can definitely utilise their data to see what other value adds they can provide to Medianet subscribers in the future.

The contact lists and saved list features can also be a little confusing, leading to double-ups in lists across both categories. There could be a cleaner way to consolidate these contact lists. That being said, ensuring lists are accessible for all members of an organisation is definitely a very thoughtful add and is considerate of the operations of media agencies and publications. The challenge of keeping up with all the journalist movements in Australia is immense. This is something that any media organisation like Medianet will struggle with to varying degrees. It is a shame that it appears out of office replies aren't more actively reviewed - where I have found people sending OOO after leaving a role permanently even after Medianet has distributed stories to that email address.

The platform is also sometimes difficult to log in. It seems to get confused, especially if you're using a bonding VPN as I am for internet stability (but it's not consistent). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
