Like most tools, it isn’t perfect. Some advanced functionality requires extra setup or workarounds, but these are relatively minor compared to the overall value the software provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Martus solving and how is that benefiting you?

The software solves many of the common budgeting challenges we had with spreadsheets, including limited visibility, manual errors, and slow collaboration. For me personally, it’s been a major time-saver and has increased confidence in our numbers. I don't like that when I wanted to open a worksheet in the Planner section, it doesn't automatically open it in a new tab. Because then I have to go back to the planner page to get to the worksheets and have to re-do my filters to get back to where I was at. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You can do a Ctrl click to open the worksheet, and it will open in a new tab. This way, you can easily switch back to the other tab where you have other filters and worksheets. What do you like best about Martus?

Martus is easy to use and similar to using a spreadsheet but turbo-boosted. I love that it integrates seamlessly with our accounting software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I haven't found a downside yet. There seems to be a fix for any issue that I have encountered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Martus solving and how is that benefiting you?

Martus solves the issue of self-service for departments regarding accounting information. Managers can view their budgets vs actual on a real time basis and help our accounting team be super accurate as well by offering any reclasses. The ability to slice and dice the data by choosing which dimension goes in rows and which in columns make it much faster than using the reporting in Intacct. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hello, and thank you for the great review! With the Intacct integration, you should have a balance sheet along with other standard reports. Please reach out to our Support team so they can assist with this. You can create a support ticket by going to Support > Open Support Website > Submit a new ticket. There's also a feature called "Reporting Groups" that sounds like it would help with your "multiple dimension items" filtering on reports. Our team can also show you that. Thank you so much!
