**What do you like best about Lumens?**

Online processing of registrations
The ability of each school to determine their category and sub-category system
The web-based interface means staff can access from anywhere
The ability to customize is decent. Much better than our previous system but definitely not something you build from scratch

**What do you dislike about Lumens?**

Poor basic User Interface (UI)
Number of clicks required for many basic tasks
Inability to view information across modules (ex. unable to view specific student information when viewing the roster of a class registration )

**Recommendations to others considering Lumens:**

Keep in mind this is a very young company still growing. Although responsive to customer needs, due to their small size some elements are unable to be handled quickly. If you have a true emergency, though, they are all over it.  Although their user interface is quite poor, you can tell that all of their resources are going into the back-end development which I understand. I hope that a better user experience and user feedback is acted upon in terms of student interface more frequently. Expect a steep learning curve as some things within the system are intuitive while other things are extremely confusing and not set-up well. 

**What problems is Lumens solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Continuing Education registrations were previously handled via a software designed for credit courses. Lumens is able to handle the various types of situations we encounter in continuing education much better and typically more efficiently than the myriad of workarounds we were trying to deal with in our previous software.

It's easy to look up students profiles and print out class rosters

**What do you dislike about Lumens?**

Sometimes multiple accounts are created for one student. 

**Recommendations to others considering Lumens:**

It works really well for businesses wanting something to get people registered for classes or summer camps. 

**What problems is Lumens solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lumens helps me to stay organized and on top of things. It makes it easier to find the critical information I need.
