The polls are also super helpful. **What do you dislike about Loomio?** The only dislike is that it was a little difficult to change Loomio page admins, but we eventually figured it out so it was not too bad. The free trial was very much appreciated as we were originally very hesitant about this software. It's great to be able to use this tool as it's helpful for collaboration especially in a virtual enviornment. **What do you dislike about Loomio?** The inbox notification thread of Loomio is pretty intense and difficult to manage and use effectively. It gets pretty bombarded with slightest notifications and actually deters users from engaging with the tool which defeats the point of having a collaboration tool **Recommendations to others considering Loomio:** I would highly recommend that organizations of any size or in any industry that struggle with decision making use Loomio to unlock the potential on their teams with ease. it is a very intuitive tool to use so it should cut across the tech generational divide. **What problems is Loomio solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problems we are solving are asycnrounously brainstorming, ideating, getting input from multiple members and support decision making at a matrix organization. Often times people are overloaded with meetings and live in different time zones which makes it difficult for them to collaborate. Free & Open Source Developed by a thriving social enterprise **What do you dislike about Loomio?** Loomio is attached to the google account but then it freaks out when one of the secondary emails receives an invitation to join a new Loomio. The inbox dashboard kinda sucks too. it's overwhelming seeing that there's activity in so many discussion threads You must pay a monthly fee to support a group with additional features, integration options, and memberships cap increases. **Recommendations to others considering Loomio:** Within the groups, members create discussions on specific topics. During a discussion, members of the group post comments and create proposals. Proposals solicit feedback from members on a specific proposition. Members can either agree, disagree, abstain, or block. **What problems is Loomio solving and how is that benefiting you?** We recently realised that we could generate significant capital through fundraising events, and this opened up the need for formal discussions around how we go forward as a community.
