Loomio is a super helpful place to communicate with colleagues and coworkers. You can have several different threads and reply to people. The only dislike is that it was a little difficult to change Loomio page admins, but we eventually figured it out so it was not too bad. Overall the platform is very user friendly. For example, we elected our union stewards through a poll. We also have found it easy to create different channels and threads to better streamline information and keep it less cluttered. Discussions are time-bound, and everyone in the group should contribute before time elapses, this is what makes Loomio objective. It also keeps all the decisions ever made, so a record of a previous decision can be pulled from the archive, showing how the decision was reached and who was involved.
