**What do you like best about Look Digital Signage?**

We replaced the PCs behind our showroom displays with Look HDMI Players. They have been much more stable, and content continues playing even during short network interruptions. I can restart a screen or check a live snapshot from my desk without walking around the building. This has saved our team a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Look Digital Signage?**

The playlist and schedule terminology took me a few attempts to fully understand. It's not difficult once you get it, but the initial learning curve could be smoother for first-time users.

**What problems is Look Digital Signage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We no longer have to carry USB drives around the showroom whenever a finance offer changes. Updates are now pushed remotely and appear instantly. The sales team no longer has to call IT every time a player stops responding, because we can manage everything from one central dashboard. This has reduced downtime and improved our team's efficiency.

**What do you like best about Look Digital Signage?**

We were able to use Look with both Windows and Android devices through the same platform, so we didn't have to replace our existing hardware. Grouping screens by location and monitoring everything from one dashboard has made management straightforward. The browser preview feature was especially helpful during rollout our team could review layouts before the physical screens were even installed.

**What do you dislike about Look Digital Signage?**

For occasional users, the full interface feels a bit crowded. A simpler mode for basic content updates would make it easier for non-technical team members.

**What problems is Look Digital Signage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Different buildings were using different playback methods, which created confusion and made support difficult. Look gave us one unified publishing process and a single place to monitor everything. Training became easier, and we kept hardware that still had plenty of life left saving us money and reducing waste.

**What do you like best about Look Digital Signage?**

We have several fitness locations, and the challenge we faced with operations was ensuring that the classes were perfectly up to date on screens without having to update them manually all the time. The Zapier integration, linking this system with our main booking platform, eliminated this challenge entirely. These changes are immediately reflected on the screens of the booking platform, when a class is added, edited or deleted. For the past four months, I haven’t needed to manually adjust a schedule screen, which has led to a significant operational efficiency boost.

Moreover, multi-location management hierarchy suits to our organisation structure. Using the corporate account, I can lock and push core brand assets. The regional managers can deploy localized campaigns. Each gym general manager can handle their local promotions and announcements. It took us about a week tuning up the custom permission hierarchy, but it is definitely worth the effort considering how much more control and consistency we get across our sites.

**What do you dislike about Look Digital Signage?**

In fact, I haven't had any problems since I started using it. Their automation tasks are running perfectly, not missing a single time. I have to say that their words and actions match, and I am getting the service exactly as I imagined!

**What problems is Look Digital Signage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to the implementation of this platform, we received numerous complaints from members about the outdated information on our screens regarding the schedule. Sessions that were cancelled would still show up, and the classes that were added were not displayed on the screen for days which was taking away the trust our members had in our screens.

Since we set up the automatic Zapier sync, the data on our display boards is always accurate. We are extremely proud of the fact that our members never double-check the schedule with the front-desk staff anymore. As a result, trust has been re-established in the electronic whiteboard system and is freeing up our staff to connect with our members rather than reiterate the session details.

**What do you like best about Look Digital Signage?**

It is critical to manage a commercial digital out-of-home (DOOH) network over 12 unique clients’ locations with precision. Look DS is distinguished by its strong playback stats and highly organized multi-site hierarchy. Our clients spend large amounts of money on ad slots thus they require verification. This system provides robust reporting tools that produce detailed and timestamped spreadsheets that show precisely which campaign aired, when, and on what display.  We can deliver proof-of-play 100% automated. The dashboard also enables us to separate screens by Customer, Site or Season campaign easily. We can send a universal brand asset to all locations while simultaneously running distinct local ads that will not conflict with each other. The smart scheduler calendar also handles automatic expiration of campaigns seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Look Digital Signage?**

The​‍​‌‍​‍‌ only downside we found is that the API documentation could be far more complete for automated workflows. We integrated the software with our internal campaign booking and CRM utilities which impacted us more than we had anticipated due to lack of detailed, step-by-step examples in the documentation. However, the API itself is quite robust and performant. On the other hand, a well-structured developer guide would go a long way toward easing setup challenges for ​‍​‌‍​‍‌agencies.

In​‍​‌‍​‍‌ the advertising industry, tracing accountability and demonstrating the real delivery to brands has always been a challenge. Look DS broke this barrier by giving a completely verifiable, exportable record of proof-of-play. These exact metrics are part of our regular closure reports of client campaigns, thus delivering a sense of security to our sponsors.
This degree of openness has really enhanced our agency's trustworthiness and as a result, we have managed to keep 100% of our contracts over the last 18 months without losing even one to ​‍​‌‍​‍‌competitors.

**What do you like best about Look Digital Signage?**

Being a part of a global high-speed telecommunications network such as LANCK Telecom, we know how important system uptime and data security are. The efficient way to roll out operational dashboards, network performance and corporate messages to office screens across the world.  The hardware pairing code with six digits enables instant plug-and-play configuration. What is most impressive for us, however, is the caching of local content. When our branchs local internet signals flicker, the screens seamlessly loop our own media without freezing or showing broken browser error codes.

**What do you dislike about Look Digital Signage?**

Aside from the above cons, the Event Schedule software platform is a quite reliable and sophisticated software, with not many glitches and problems so feels good. Complex overlapping scheduling or clever multi-zone enabling with deep-engulfing custom timelines is a little rigid at first and needs some adjustment by non-tech members. Many more automated, direct API integration options, or out-of-the-box webhooks to stream a real-time operational data pipeline from any technology driven team would be nice.

A variety of different types of display devices is used for the display of local information in a geographic region and a pre-distribution environment and deployed at the last technological stage. Look Digital Signage is a helpful solution we have at PostHog.  In a product analytics and DevOps company, we see high-paced and continuous software development in our work. Consequently, we value anything that works without excessive upkeep. Thanks to Look Digital Signage, we have been able to easily deploy our company dashboard, sprint metrics and internal product milestones on screens in our office. We were impressed with the straightforward pairing of the hardware using the 6-digit code and compatible web CMS  Due to its excellent ability to cache local content, the screens will continue to loop our advertising even if the network in our local office goes down.

**What do you dislike about Look Digital Signage?**

The interface is quite simple however sometimes it can feel a little awkward when trying to set up complex custom schedules with assets in overlapping zones and nested layouts especially when putting it side by side with modern fluid-like design systems. As it stands, integration capabilities are quite good. However, it would be beneficial for heavier technical teams to have more native webhooks or direct API endpoints available out-of-the-box to enable easy streaming of real-time data-pipelines.

It wholly addresses a years-long problem in our internal tech ops, namely the manual and disparate oversight of screens.  We can now push engineering metrics, company announcements, webcast URLs to screens all around the world from a single console without having to configure all of this in a manual fashion or with brittle local media servers. Fine-grained RBAC performance guarantees that nobody outside the correct teams can change screen layouts or modify them. Full security model is maintained across our internal display.

The effectiveness of a health plan management system depends on clear communication, reliability, and compliance. Look Digital Signage makes it easy to send internal policy changes, member wellness tips, and instant messages across various physical locations. The hardware has a 6-digit code for equipment pairing. The local content caching is superb; even if the internet of our local branch drops, the screens continue to plaster our media correctly and do not freeze or browser error loops.

We usually face many circumstances where we find it difficult to take out time for our health and well-being. Wellness programs that have become increasingly popular in organizations lately have now become ubiquitous across the developed world. One of the best ways to manage an organizations healthcare costs is by initiating a wellness program.

This totally removes the headache of manually updating siloed media presentations throughout a range of corporate and clinical settings. Rather than dealing with physical USB memory sticks or delays from corporate IT roll-outs, we can instantly push localised updates safely from a single web console. Working in a health care environment clear communication and system failure. With Look Digital Signage, managing patient awareness content, internal updates and health protocols across multiple screens in your clinic is easy and convenient from the same place.  We set the hardware up quickly through the 6 digits pairing code. The most important feature is its local content caching capability, when our local network goes down, the screens never go blank nor do they show any browser error which gives us a clean look for our patients.

**What do you dislike about Look Digital Signage?**

The software works beautifully, but creating overlapping schedules or multi-zone layouts with nested timelines takes a bit of practice for none-technical clinical staff.  In addition, a more straightforward, native integration with safe healthcare data feeds and automated asset management systems would be an excellent fit for major health networks

**What problems is Look Digital Signage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This helps to transmit real time information to patients and staff across various clinical areas thereby making our operations efficient. Instead of using manual USB drives or complex IT rollouts, we can safely and instantly update wellness tips, scheduling changes and company announcements. A secure role-based multi-user access maintains the credibility of information over the network by controlling who can change the screen content.

**What do you like best about Look Digital Signage?**

Due to the highly regulated environment under which banks operate, we cannot afford to have out of date financial rates or old product promotions on screen. Look's scheduling system solved this for us by allowing us to set a hard cut-off date on every piece of content the second we upload it. It cleans up automatically without branch staff having to remember. This function was enough to get the green light from our compliance team. So far we have been managing interest rate boards and product updates for 7 branches. The system checks everything. Also, the multi-zone layout option allows us to lock away the compliance disclosures in a zone only the head office can touch, preventing the local branch staff from changing it..

**What do you dislike about Look Digital Signage?**

There should be more apps or widgets in the native application library that are specific to financial services, such as automated currency exchange rates or real-time charts for banking. We have to resort to external embed codes just to get live financial data on our screens. This works great but it needs a bit too much technical configuration for our branch level content owners who are not very tech-savvy.

**What problems is Look Digital Signage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to Look, we had a big operational risk of having branch teams manually deleting expired flyers off screens, and sometimes they would just forget to delete the expired advertisements. Look’s automated expiry system totally took human dependency out of this process. Since we introduced it 14 months ago, our internal audit findings for incorrect or outdated display content have dropped to zero.

**What do you like best about Look Digital Signage?**

Your digital menu board in the fast-food industry cannot fail. It mustn't go blank and it shouldn't show the wrong prices either more than that. Look does away with these. Its offline playback feature is amazing; even if the internet goes out at a restaurant, the Look player plays everything from its local cache. The tool for scheduling is highly accurate. When we change a breakfast price or lunch price, it updates at the exact second it should. Pushing a time-sensitive notification throughout all 19 locations is a single click from the dashboard, which eliminates the need to manage separate notifications. The proof-of-play reports have also been a nice surprise in our vendor advertising contracts.

**What do you dislike about Look Digital Signage?**

I sincerely wish for a more profound, native linkage with POS systems. At the moment, for us to automatically send a request to update the menu board through the point of sale system, we have to use zapier. While it functions well, it imposes an additional dependency that we would prefer to refrain from using. If there’s a POS connector integrated inside the hardware, things would be easier.

We no longer have any issues will scaling or consistency. In the past, if you wanted to alter the price of just one product, you had to ring up 19 differents store managers and hope they updated their computer screens accurately. There was always days and there was always pricing error. I can accomplish the task alone now in less than 5 minutes and it works perfectly everywhere. We have avoided disputes with customers over incorrect pricing and actually saved some money.

**What do you like best about Look Digital Signage?**

The folks at Mattel have three factories and over 1,200 people. Sending out important updates was a huge problem. The safety protocols, HR, and shift changes were not reaching the floor. It was a whole different world to us.” We have 31 screens across our sites and all of them are managed through one CMS.
Being able to integrate Power BI into the OEE tool has been an absolute game-changer. For example, we now display real-time live production KPIs, targets and downtime on the factory floor and on dashboards throughout the factory.  It’s useful because of the user roles feature. The ops team is responsible for their own dashboards for performance purposes while I take care of the HR and corporate comms dashboards. No one can remove anyone's content on their own by mistake.
Smart Scheduling has a hard expiry date in a manufacturing setup to bring compliance.  The old notices disappear automatically, so outdated safety rules never stay onscreen. You can also take screenshots which is a plus. If I can view the screen which is 200 KM away, then I do not have to go to the site.

**What do you dislike about Look Digital Signage?**

Although the platform is good, the integration into the Microsoft ecosystem could be better for big enterprises. We depend on Teams, SharePoint and Viva Engage. Right now, our content creators who aren't technical can’t pull content from these platforms as it requires API or embed code, and the IT team has to do it. If M365 connectors were available for native use, it would be a huge help for corporate-type of users like ourselves.

The top challenge of connecting with deskless frontline workers was resolved.  The email open rates for factory staff were hovering around 23%. Now, by placing screens in the break rooms and main entrances, everyone gets to see the updates. There’s an increased safety compliance since we planted major notices at the entrances of the site.  In fact, since we’ve rolled this out we have seen a very positive downward trend in safety incidents over the last 12 months.

**What do you like best about Look Digital Signage?**

We manage Samsung Tizen displays through Look. The alerts center is thefirst place I check because it shows which screens are offline and provides enough history to decide whether the problem is the connection, the player or the content.
We can remotely restart devices, separate Compliance content from local promotions and review who changed a campaign. Scheduled expiration is especially helpful for rate and product messages.

Designing the branch hierarchy and permissions took more planning than expected. We revised the structure during rollout before settling on the right model.

A screen issue was often discovered only after a branch employee reported it. We now respond much earlier and can give local teams more precise instructions. Central scheduling has also removed a long email chain around campaign updates.

**What do you like best about Look Digital Signage?**

Look is doing a great job managing the screens for patients in the waiting room of our dental clinic. From its dashboard, we can easily display health awareness tips, our doctors' profiles and a live news feed all together. The software runs very quietly and stably in the background, without any crashes or lags. We liked the plug-and-play hardware support the most.

**What do you dislike about Look Digital Signage?**

The process of uploading custom fonts in it seemed a bit cumbersome. Our clinic's brand guide has specific fonts, which took us a little longer to set up. The font and typography management system should be made a little easier.

**What problems is Look Digital Signage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was a big challenge for us to keep the waiting time of the patients unboring while they were sitting in the waiting room. Since the introduction of this digital signage, 'waiting fatigue' among patients has decreased significantly. In addition, we are able to display various service offers or notices of the clinic on the screen instantly without wasting any paper, which has greatly reduced the crowd at our counter.

The cloud dashboard is very effective and efficient in managing a dynamic display property of a hotel. It is easy to update restaurant menus, calendar of events and local sightseeing guides on multiple screens in the lobby and lounge on a daily basis. This system guarantees excellent playback stability and can run 24/7 without buffering, lagging or crashing. Furthermore, the effortless plug-and-play setup allowed our front-desk team to instantly connect new screens without requiring any advanced technical support.

**What do you dislike about Look Digital Signage?**

Remote management works fine, but formatting a custom layout within the built-in media editor can take a bit of time. Adjusting our hotel's special brand colour, custom font size and multi-zone grid requires a bit more manual alignment. Having more ready-made, hospitality-focused drag-and-drop design templates will make it much faster for our team to create content every week.

In the past, printing endless paper brochures to inform guests of check-in policies, amenities, and daily buffet menus was a messy and antiquated way to keep guests informed. **What do you like best about Look Digital Signage?**

It is extremely important to provide patients with the right information at the right time in a healthcare facility. Using Look Digital Signage, we can easily display health awareness, clinic schedules and emergency notices on the screens in our waiting rooms. 
With its centralised dashboard, displays on different floors can be controlled from one place.  The biggest advantage is its offline playback; even if the internet connection is temporarily disconnected, the screens remain functional, which is extremely reliable in hospital emergencies.

Thanks to this service, we were able to replace our 4 physical menu boards with digital screens, so whenever we change a price we don’t need to print new inserts. I set our brand colors in a template once and now every update is on brand for those colors. After 2PM we automatically switch over to the afternoon drinks menu from our lunch specials, which is especially helpful for dayparting at busy times.

Given we’re only one location, many of the advanced features seem unnecessary for us. When you first login, it can look a bit crowded given the amount of high-level tools available on your dashboard. The ability to have a simple interface for small single-location businesses would be much easier.

Look Digital Signage is showcased on screens positioned in the lobby, restaurant entrance, spa reception, poolside area and lift lobbies. 
The content strategy is quite intentional: each market gets content aligned to the guest journey and which is relevant to what they are likely to want at that time. The lift lobby screens have spa promos during morning and dinner menu which starts from 4pm. During rush hours, screens in the pool area display promotions on drinks and food. We built Smart Scheduling for the scheduled targeting above, and once set up, it will run forever on its own.

Did anybody mention a Google Reviews app integration? I’ll flag this specifically for us, live verified guest reviews in lobby and restaurant entrance have become part of our social proof strategy. At the checkout station, customers engage with the product and get their pictures clicked, giving it a thumbs up. The experience of guests is now a real-time element instead of just being the screen with content on it.

My F&B manager controls the restaurant's screens, the spa coordinator controls the spa screens and I control the rest and make sure there is brand consistency across the board without being a bottleneck. The only way according to you, the distributed ownership model can work, the manner the permission structure enforces boundary properly.

From a reliability point of view, the network outage of the resort went on for several hours last autumn. The screens continued to function throughout as a result of content caching. When guests experience a blank screen in your hospitality venue, that’s a major negative Offline playback capability is a must-have, not a nice-to-have.

I would love to see more hospitality-native integrations, such as live occupancy PMS connection to allow for display, 
restaurant reservation connection to allow for display, and spa booking connection for live upsell. The integrations already available work well for most commercial use, however, for unique hospitality-specific connections, there is a need for API or Zapier workarounds that need tech resources to set up.

Even the scheduling, all by itself, is a massive time-saver. I can create our entire holiday campaign calendar weeks in advance of when the insanity starts. I programmed the playlist to start midnight on Thursday for Black Friday and run through Sunday night, with all our promotional graphics including every one of our pricing videos; were then scheduled to have things go back to normal in there. Whenever it does, whether I'm awake or signed in. That dependability matters during the peak season.

Can't ignore the built-in social apps, either. We have the Instagram feed widget on a monitor that is adjacent to our fitting rooms. It pulls the photos and videos customers tag using. But really what people want to see is themselves, and other real customers on screen it makes the space feel fun and current, but also gathers more user-generated content. Its one of those clever things that feel simple and helps improve the store experience.

**What do you dislike about Look Digital Signage?**

(All I want is more prebuilt templates or things that would make sense for a fashion retail space.) The (few) ones that do exist seem a bit generic, more in the corporate cafeteria or gym category. Our brand has a very particular aesthetic, so ultimately we did not use them at all. The good news is the custom layout tool is pretty powerful really. My graphic designer constructed a suite of master templates for us and now we re-use these with every campaign. It was only that initial time hit we hadn’t thought to expect.

It fixed our No. 1 issue: consistency. We have eight stores, and prior to this I was emailing PowerPoints and JPEGs out to store managers every time we had a promotion. I was constantly following up. Is that embarrassing? Honestly, it was the scheduling. In my role as a content manager, I’m managing client news announcements, internal updates and event promotion for three different office locations. The fact I can create separate playlists for each lobby screens at all the different locations in stead of having to manually make changes to presentations on every single tv saves me a minimum 5 hours a week. The integration with Google Drive could not be easier—my team simply dumps final graphics or videos into our “Digital Signage” folder and they are ready to roll. No downloading, converting or uploading. It just works.

I also love that it handles time zones and all that stuff easily. I don’t have to do math when we schedule a company-wide announcement for 9 AM in each time zone I know our London and Austin office can’t be that far apart. It’s a little thing that makes a big difference.

The template library is a little old school for a tech business. We ultimately ended up building our own templates from scratch, which was a lot of upfront work. I also wish the analytics did a bit more — I know if a screen is online/offline, but it would be great to see which content pieces are being engaged with most (even as merely view duration)..

We had an initial problem with connecting for older (Samsung) TV in London office. Look’s assistance was useful, although we had to upgrade the media players (we opted for Amazon Fire Sticks) for consistent performance. That was an unanticipated cost and setup challenge.

By far, the scheduling feature is what I love about this product. Dealing with weekly sales and promotional videos in 12 buildings used to be a "nightmare" - someone had to be on site to load a USB. Now, on a Sunday night from the couch, I can program the entire month’s playlist. And knowing it will fire when you pull the trigger is priceless peace of mind. The interface is not confusing; it’s simple enough that our store managers can log in and make an emergency change if they have to.

I love working in Look Digital Signage's Layout Designer. You can split the screen into as many sections as you like and then customize each one. This has been key in our creation of some really dynamic displays for our clients. The built-in graphics editor makes tweaking everything pretty easily within the platform.

**What do you dislike about Look Digital Signage?**

At the beginning, though, the Layout Designer is one of those things that requires a little learning curve, I think. It did take me some time to get used to all of the features, but once I got familiar with them everything gets easier from there.
