We didn't use the attendee connection/chat feature but will use it in the future. **What do you dislike about LineUpr?** It would have been useful to have a support chat bot for quick questions I had while setting up the event. If questions did arise, a contact person in the app was there to help and we could easily reach them by email or phone. Another plus is the push notifications that can be set and saved in advance. The interactivity is just as good. Guests could save events and mark artists with a heart. This made it possible to estimate in advance how popular the concert would be. We had an international conference with about 300 participants from 40 nations. After a very short time you could see that the mobile phones were being pulled out everywhere. Setting up the "App": The creation of participants and events is quick and easy. Programming knowledge is not necessary. The total setup time was about two hours, but depends of course on the preliminary work. I was able to take and transfer existing lists. **What do you dislike about LineUpr?** In my opinion and based on the feedback from the participants, the app is almost perfect. However, a few ideas would improve the usability even further: - It would be very good if the underlying website could also be accessed via a PC in the same way. This is a good choice if you need a well-structured web page for all your event's offers! It's very intuitive to use and easy to customize. Consider getting a short domain, as the page's link might be a little long and hard to remember for your customers. Also, don't get confused about the "It's an event app" -bit. It's first and foremost a webpage which you can link towards on your mobile devices main screen and needs to be opened in an installed browser on your device. **What problems is LineUpr solving and how is that benefiting you?** We wanted a modern, easy-to-use platform for all our event's information and offers. Several Admins can put the offline planned sessions fast and simultaneous into the online session plan. The plan is great on mobile devices. You can change nearly everything on the design and prepare everything you know in advance. **What do you dislike about LineUpr?** We had a sponsored plan for the barcamp. But we had to ask for it. The modern and appealing design fit wonderfully! The possibility to get feedback for the people and to launch surveys was great and very easy to integrate. The possibility to plan and publish contributions live and in advance is great. **What do you dislike about LineUpr?** Unfortunately LineUpr does not allow a large number of modifiable contents. Contributions cannot be planned. The dashboard was only accessible via desktop - not very useful for a flexible use live at the event. Unfortunately no program points can be published without end. It was not possible to integrate program items into a superordinate program item. Working with categories is necessary. **Recommendations to others considering LineUpr:** Easy event guide made yourself! Try it out and you will never forget how easy the setup process is. **What problems is LineUpr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Offering my visitors a good overview was difficult due to our format, thanks to LineUpr the publication of the program was innovative and significantly simplified! They were able to adapt to what we needed as well as provide all of the aspects we needed to build our event app. The actual app was easy to navigate and even our youngest users were able to find the information they needed. Set-up was easy and I was able to build the app rather quickly. **What do you dislike about LineUpr?** As this is a European company, the time was all based on a 24 hour clock rather than a 12 hour clock. It would have been nice to be able to use the time scale that our users were used to. Additionally, it would be great if the app had greater ease of updating through mobile devices so that updating on the go would be easier. I also would have liked to be able to add pdf attachments which at this point at least, it seems is not something that can be done. **Recommendations to others considering LineUpr:** Don't hesitate to ask the support team for help! **What problems is LineUpr solving and how is that benefiting you?** All of the questions that I asked were answered in a timely manner. Speakers were able to create live polls and gain real-time feedback from the audience, which made it a great way to engage all attendees (who may otherwise be less inclined to partake in interactive sessions.) As the person creating our bespoke app, it was really easy to use, yet looked professional and smart, as if a designer had developed the app specifically for us. **What do you dislike about LineUpr?** I really can't fault the app, the only potential negative that I can see is that some of the functionality is limited, so if you're looking for specific features such as chat between attendees etc, it might not be 100% suitable. **What problems is LineUpr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our attendees loved using the app, and we had nothing but positive feedback in regards to ease of use and benefits of having this app. ### 29. It is quite user-friendly and has many useful functionalities for event management such as providing location maps, sending out surveys and posts and letting the participants put bookmarks into the schedule. I liked that the changes made during the event came immediately into effect. I also like that it's simply a mobile friendly website and people do not have to download and install an app. **What do you dislike about LineUpr?** There wasn't really anything I disliked. One functionality I would find useful to add is letting event participants register themselves as contributors/attendees. **Recommendations to others considering LineUpr:** I can recommend LineUpr to anyone planning an event with many attendees, locations and session lanes. LineUpr helped us visualize the session board online for everyone to easily access it on their mobile phone. The event had 4 different session lanes, so the bookmark feature came in quite handy. The option to assign locations to the different items on the schedule is very helpful. That you can add these location to the integrated map makes the navigation for participants really easy and the option to post announcements to the front page is very handy for the organisers. **What do you dislike about LineUpr?** With an extensive schedule and a large amount of additional content editing gets a bit confusing but that's criticism on a very high level. **What problems is LineUpr solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were organising a four day conference at our university for about 650 participants. We mainly used LineUpr to communicate the schedule and locations. The main advantage versus classical paper schedules is that you can immediately update the schedule in case of any changes.
