**What do you like best about Level Access Accessibility Platform?**

I appreciate that the platform highlights all the areas of my web application that need attention. It also lets me group related issues and address them together, which helps me get the best bang for my buck. Being able to track status and clearly see what’s still outstanding is useful for prioritizing where we focus our attention. Lastly, the automation features, including running scans periodically or on demand, are really important for making sure we’re not reintroducing issues and for staying ahead of recurring problems. While we have an integration with Azure DevOps, we haven't maximized its usefulness quite yet, but are eager to set that up.

**What do you dislike about Level Access Accessibility Platform?**

While accessibility tools have improved a lot, many of them really shine for traditional websites but don’t scale as well for web applications. Because of the nature of web apps, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all site map for scanning, and the data can be dynamic, which makes it harder to evaluate issues consistently. Level Access has made progress in this area over the past few years, but there’s still room for enhancements that would strengthen automated scanning and better cover more dynamic use cases.

Level Access acts as augmented resourcing for our team since we don’t have in-house accessibility experts. They review what’s in our development queue, the new features we release, and even older functionality. They not only test our work, but also guide us on best practices and help ensure each team member keeps an accessibility-first mindset when building and delivering this functionality.

I love the clean, easy-to-use dashboard and how it combines automated scans with expert manual testing. It gives clear, actionable steps so our developers know exactly how to fix errors right away. Plus, connecting it directly to Jira has saved our team a ton of time by automating our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Level Access Accessibility Platform?**

The platform has a pretty steep learning curve, and the interface can feel overwhelming and crowded for new users. It is also quite expensive compared to other tools on the market, and the pricing isn't transparent. Additionally, the system can sometimes cause data overload, making it hard to prioritize fixes without extra manual setup

**What do you like best about Level Access Accessibility Platform?**

The platform is exciting because it shows what the future of inclusive design can look like when you bring innovation and technology together. It also reinforces how important it is to have experts involved at every stage and when accessibility isn't just an afterthought. 

The Platform has become my go-to hub, not only when I am trying to understand practical implementation of compliance requirements but also when trying to pro-actively build better web experiences for our audiences. I've passively learned so much about building more accessible design through my interactions with the platform and it's really helped me take accessibility from a compliance checkbox into something that I have better understanding of and feel motivated to meaningfully take ownership over. I use the best practice guides (e.g. for Web Accessibility Content Guidelines) as a standard when building out new content and regularly find myself referring back to them when reviewing content created by others.

**What do you dislike about Level Access Accessibility Platform?**

I haven't had a chance to explore all features (e.g. AI-led accessibility tools). There is a wealth of information on the site and I would like to take the opportunity to explore some of the features pro-actively (and not just come to the site in reaction to an immediate need). I will say that it would be great to see more of the human aspect in the development of Level Access' resources. In other words, I want to know how the experiences of people with lived experience facing chronic barriers to access are actively and ongoingly shaping, leading and benefitting from the experiences being offered by Level Access.

**What problems is Level Access Accessibility Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can be hard to stay up to date with newest legislation, requirements and best practices on accessibility so I love being able to trust Level Access to synthesize and provide me with the most up-to-date developments in accessible digital experiences.

**What do you like best about Level Access Accessibility Platform?**

It consolidates all of our audit information in one place, offers bidirectional Jira syncing to help us maintain our workflows, and the platform is updated regularly.

**What do you dislike about Level Access Accessibility Platform?**

The validation process lives largely in Zendesk, and the disconnect makes it difficult to track, requiring manual exporting and reconciling in spreadsheets. The data shown in the Project and Digital Asset views are different and have to be reconciled outside of the Platform, again requiring manual exporting and reconciling in spreadsheets. The bidirectional Jira sync is a huge benefit, but should bring in a query-able field for validation status. These issues decrease the confidence in our reporting.

**What problems is Level Access Accessibility Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using the LAAP, every single step of our a11y process was manual, and teams had to figure out how to write actionable Jira tickets to remediate issues. This typically resulted in inconsistent efforts/processes across teams and confusion. The fact that LAAP writes actionable tickets, and those tickets explain why the issue is a problem and exactly how to fix it is a significant gamechanger for us.

The learning curve is quite steep when first getting started, and it can take a significant amount of time before the team feels confident navigating all the features effectively. The reporting can sometimes feel overwhelming with the volume of issues flagged at once, making it hard to prioritize what needs to be fixed first. The platform can also feel slow to load at times especially when running large scale audits across multiple pages.

**What problems is Level Access Accessibility Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps in identify accessibility barriers across our platform that would otherwise be missed during regular QA testing, ensuring the product is usable for people with disabilities. 
It takes the guesswork out of WCAG compliance by flagging specific violations and providing clear guidance on how to fix them, which saves the development team significant time during remediation. The biggest benefit has been the ability to catch accessibility issues early in the development cycle rather than discovering them after launch, which reduces the cost and effort of fixing them later and helps our team build a more inclusive product from the ground up.

**What do you like best about Level Access Accessibility Platform?**

We've been using the Level Access platform for a year and a half now, and our experience has been positive. The tutorials and training provided helped us get started on our accessibility journey.

One of the features we appreciate most is having all of the elements in one central hub. We can run scans, request manual audits, review results, create tasks and projects, and access training all in one place. Having all these elements integrated has made it easier to monitor priorities and streamline our work.

**What do you dislike about Level Access Accessibility Platform?**

The results from scans and audits are so comprehensive that it can be tedious to sort through it all and separate findings into tasks.

**What problems is Level Access Accessibility Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a public library, we need to ensure compliance with the Department of Justice’s Title II update by April 2027. Level Access is helping us manage the process by providing a centralized platform to handle all aspects of digital accessibility.

From running scans and conducting manual audits to tracking results, creating tasks, and accessing training resources, the platform streamlines our efforts. This comprehensive approach allows us to stay organized, monitor progress, and address accessibility issues efficiently, ensuring that we meet the upcoming compliance requirements.

**What do you like best about Level Access Accessibility Platform?**

I still find level access availability platform very useful for testing and improving website accessibility. It helps us to issues that is difficult to catch manually, especially when reviewing links, pages, and website element. I like Tenon API integrated with tools like Google Analytics which gives option for tracking and testing accessibility issues. It helps to focus on real user experience problems and makes overall process organized.

**What do you dislike about Level Access Accessibility Platform?**

One area they can improve is initial setup and integration process for API service. From developer point of view, setup is not straightforward. It will be helpful to have clear step step documentation and some integration examples and video tutorials showing how to connect and use API properly. This will make easier for new users and developers to start using platform without much issues.

We use Tenon to fix Accessibility issues On the Website. 508 testing can be done quickly by the use of Tenon.

I like the scores because they give me a sense of the direction we're going with accessibility. They help me get a gut check on whether we're heading in the right direction and solving accessibility issues. The scores also assist me in communicating the status to stakeholders and sharing that sentiment with customers.

I think the reporting is kind of weak and could be improved. Right now, it seems very limited. And also their AI feature feels very limited. It's more like a chatbot rather than a true AI chat experience, more like a cloud.

I use Level Access Accessibility Platform for scans of our platform and to identify accessibility improvement areas. The scores help me gauge if we're solving accessibility issues and communicate progress to stakeholders and customers.

What I like most is its combination of automated scanning and professional manual accessibility testing. It not only quickly locates compliance issues but also provides clear, actionable repair guidance for developers. Besides, the continuous monitoring function can automatically detect new accessibility risks after website updates, helping our team maintain long-term WCAG and Section 508 compliance efficiently.

The platform’s automated scan sometimes produces a small number of false positive errors, which requires our team to spend extra time verifying each warning one by one. In addition, its advanced customized reporting templates are limited and lack flexible adjustment options to fit our internal audit statistical standards.

I like that the price of the Level Access Accessibility Platform is reasonable, and the software is easy to use. I mainly use the Findings view since we are in remediation mode. The initial setup required zero effort from me, and apart from attending two training calls, the team managed the audit with minimal intervention from my side.

**What do you dislike about Level Access Accessibility Platform?**

The lead time to validate fixed remediations could be shorter. Additionally, the Findings feature only integrates with Jira for remediation, and we use Linear. A Linear integration would be nice. Or even an MCP. The workflow is clunky right now.

I use Level Access Accessibility Platform for auditing our site to author a VPAT, ensuring compliance and aiding sales. It provides continuous monitoring and compliance remediation.

I like that it aligns to accessibility standards such as WCAG. This applies to our Canadian based business. As well, the dashboard provides centralized visibility for the overall accessibility "health" picture on our applications.

This platform is more suited to technical team members rather than casual business users. I would like to see something more geared towards marketing so that they can self serve.

**What problems is Level Access Accessibility Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tenon allows me to quickly evaluate the accessibility of our web sites and make updates. Since it is an automated scan, I do not need to go page by page to check. After I make changes, I can also re-run the scan and get my results right away.

Makes it easy to quickly identify issues within our products and the priority of those issues. I like that I can tailor the priority around my goals (VPAT compliance, risk, etc)

There are a few things that are a little confusing. Sometimes if I'm trying to find out which WCAG rules have violations it takes me a few minutes to remember where to view that information.

We are a small team, so helping sort and prioritize findings is the biggest benefit for me personally. Also the scans help offset our small QA team to make testing easier and faster.

From policy development to issue identification and resolution to annual testing, we can rely on Level Access to provide the necessary expertise.

We have experienced some annual increases in cost of the service without significant expansion of features.

There are new updates for ways to collate errors under WCAG success criteria easily.

I wish there were a way to call out duplicated errors within an audit and also across multiple products in the same platform.

The Platform is solving the issue of diving deeply into the meeting of WCAG standards within each of our products. It gives our teams multiple ways to digest the information.

The dashboard is pretty intuitive to read and follow. Support has been helpful with bi-weekly meetings and just answering questions in general.

**What do you dislike about Level Access Accessibility Platform?**

I'm still new to the platform, but I'm still learning my way around the dashboard. While some features are intuitive, others are not where I'd expect them to be. I'm sure most of this experience is from the user and not about the platform.

They remediated a large number of PDFs to address tagging and reading order issues. We're also renewing our VPAT through Level Access.

I like that I can have my web pages scanned for compliance and that LA makes suggestions for how to code the page to remain in compliance with legal and corporate standards. Although it is challenging to keep up with regulations and standards in the industry, I enjoy helping product owners and developers finding the requirements, scanning our digital pages to find out where we are and not in compliance, and following up to assure we have met the requirements internally and from government and industry oversight.

I would love a FAQ section if I have a FAQ that can be quickly answered. Also, having a tour of LA would be great so I can see what is possible in the space. It would be really great to go to an area for AA that shows what areas need to be in compliance and a checklist for me to follow to ensure my department is where is needs to be with accessibility.

It is solving easy ways for disabled customers to find the answers for their needs and normalizing the website to allow these customers to access not only what they came online for but also for opportunities to indulge in the offers that are available to all customers. The screen reader functionality helps our developers figure out where there are gaps in our digital offering which leaves customers lost and not able to fully access the website's features. By having demos and reviewing the updates as a team, we get to see where we are in compliance and where we have additional work to do.

Primarily we're engaging with LA to run audit and prepare VPAT. Platform is a bonus and has helped us with e.g. scanning and prep work. Also managing audit findings in a good way.
