A number of months ago I logged onto LawDepot.ca, to create a waiver for a charity event we were putting on.

To do this I had to subscribe to their service, however would not be charged the subscription fee, if I cancelled it, after creating this one document. Which I did, as I had done two other times over the past 4 years.

However the cancellation failed to go through and I just noticed I had been charged $40.95 per month for the past 4 months.

When I called in, the best they were willing to do was to reverse the last charge, leaving me with a cost of $122.85 cost for this one document.

Not what I call an understanding company.

Bottomline, MAKE SURE YOU CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION AND THAT YOU GET A CONFIRMATION OF THAT CANCELLATION! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Beware of their subscription model. Don't give them your cc unless you plan to use the service. They will charge you $50 a month whether you use the service or not. Very unethical. Email from them went to spam. I tried to cancel within 3 days and they said they would not refund, so I have given Law Depot $50 of my hard earned money for absolutely no service. Good work if you can get it, I guess. I could never recommend a company like this. Please avoid and save yourself the headache and the money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Awful experience, they are clearly making money out of they're supposed to be "7 days free trial". I took the subscritption for the free 7days period on their website, during the 7days I remember having cancelled the service online but during 2 month those swindlers still took money from my bank account. When I called customer service they said they can't see that I've canceled my subscription (obviously I didn't had any proof) and that they won't reimburse even if I never connected on ther website after the trial.
