What I like best is having all our carrier and portal logins organized in one place. Working in an insurance agency, I use these accounts daily, and LastPass is much more convenient than the physical notebook I used before. I can also attach notes like our agency or producer number to each login, so the information I need is right there. Shared logins are especially helpful for carriers that give our whole agency one account, I can update the password in LastPass and keep everyone working from the same credentials. My biggest frustration is that, as far as I know, LastPass doesn’t integrate directly with our Agency Management System. Our AMS has its own credential manager, so we have to maintain some of the same logins in both places. That means duplicate entries and extra upkeep when passwords change. If the Single Sign-On federation gets messed up, it can be a bit of a pain to reconnect. There are steps to fix it, but I tend to see the most problems when someone’s email address changes (for example, after a name change), since we connect through SSO. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For nearly six years, LastPass served my family well as our password manager. It was easy to use, simplified password management across multiple devices, and made it convenient to securely store and organize login credentials. The Family plan was straightforward to set up and made sharing passwords between family members simple. Day-to-day, the product generally worked as expected, which is why I remained a loyal customer for so long. Unfortunately, those positives were overshadowed by the account recovery experience and poor customer support. A password manager is only as good as its ability to help when something goes wrong. The biggest drawback of LastPass is its account recovery process and the lack of meaningful support when something goes wrong. Family Managers are unable to help family members regain access to their accounts, making the Family plan far less useful than expected. Customer support was slow, unresponsive, and ultimately dismissive, even suggesting that resetting the account was acceptable because there "wasn't much information" saved in the vault. Seven days without access to an account is unacceptable for a password manager, especially when there is no practical path to resolution. I use LastPass for storing passwords and sensitive data securely across devices. I really appreciate the auto-fill for passwords and credit card info, which makes things so convenient. The cross-device synchronization is another feature I enjoy, allowing me to set a secure password on my computer and use it on my phone without hassle. Plus, the initial setup was extremely easy. Sometimes the auto fill bubble can get in the way on mobile, and frequently on mobile, websites have to be refreshed in order to fill the password after authentication, which occasionally causes problems. I really like that LastPass is very easy to use. Our vault is easy to access. Our entire team at the Dyson Foundation uses LastPass for password management, and we would be lost without it. LastPass helps us keep track of every account we have to sign in to, and we always feel that our accounts are safe and secure with it. We have no complaints about it, and we like using it. I would say the only issue that we have with LastPass is the need to remember our password for LastPass to sign in on occasion. It hasn't been an issue, but it is one of those things when you suddenly realize, oh, here's a password I have to manually remember. Cross platform integration is strong and seamless, and the perk of the family plan that staff can link to their workplace vault encourages cybersecurity alertness and sound practices in every sphere of users' lives. The admin console is easy to use and has good policy templates. Passkeys are easy to store as well, and password creation is great. Although the family plan perk saves money for our staff, as a nonprofit we wish we could receive a discount on LastPass, perhaps through TechSoup or even directly. The UI in Microsoft Edge on Windows doesn't feel intuitive or slick, just functional. It takes a little bit of getting used to. It would be easier to onboard and encourage adoption if it was nicer. I really like LastPass for its ease of use and the way it integrates with other websites. It makes things so much simpler when I can either prefill passwords or just copy and paste them when needed. I also appreciate the accessibility it provides me, allowing me to access all my necessary data on my various devices like my tablet, laptop, PC, and cellphone. Sometimes the multifactor authentication process can be frustrating. It can go in circles sometimes when trying to get logged in. While it's great to have these features, for me, there are locations where I really don't need to have multifactor activated. For example, on my home PC, I don't have to do multifactor because someone would need to first get into my PC to get to LastPass. It can be overkill for that. I get it for mobile devices and laptops. Sometimes it can be fiddly to save certain passwords e.g for apps. It might not initiate the automatic saving process. At other times it may suggest updating a password with information that was not a password e.g. your username. These incidents are infrequent but a bit annoying. I really like LastPass's autofill feature. It's great that it works on many platforms and most webpages. It also generates passwords for me, which is awesome. I appreciate that I can use LastPass on my computer, iPhone, and it would work on an Android if I had one. Plus, I can use it on my work computer, and it integrates well with Firefox and Chrome. The address fill and remember feature on LastPass can be frustrating. It often tries to fill in or remember addresses that aren't mine while I'm just typing. Plus, whenever there's a user-fillable box on a webpage, it tries to autofill, and the dropdown menu gets in the way. It's a bit irritating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
